Hi All Nairalnders

I write this post because I am sure many of you (myself included) are baffled and bewildered as to what actually makes a moderator.. Who are these guys?

Furthermore, do they get paid and if so how much? Do you think the money is a lot for them to be exercising unknown powers anyhow?

I also like to highlight that we need proper communication between regular Nairalanders and the moderators because we don't actually know what their job entails or why they exist.

How were they selected, who selected them, actually who are they?

Can the moderators hop in here and discuss this please to find a way we can achieve uniformity and transparency between the Nairalnders and the so called 'Moderators"

I know I may get banned for this but I have to say my opinion.

The management of Nairaland employed the moderators. . No one else.. their income is personal to them and not yor concern in anyway.
