wheredemdey: Jesos!!!! See Akpobi!!! Faceless forum have done you well. The nerve to shut someone up that did you no harm like if she was standing right in front of you you would have dared such. There are better ways to approach things whether you are cbn governor or whatever @Nadina. Sorry dear. It's not her or his fault. Thanks for the info. 1 Like |

Good day Lovely Ladies, Am a newbie and dis is my first post here. Am due in August and intend to apply for Visa this month as I understand fully well d steps I need to take from what I have learnt here so far. I have read and assimilated most posts from Parts 1 to 3. I plan to travel to Maryland cos I have family there but seems all hospital there is top notch expensive expect for one which Robert26(pls pm me if u read this) said it's in Virginia tho like more than 1hr drive to get to the hospital. Want to open discussions with them now cos i need their bills and correspondence for my interview. My question is how do I get a Dr n Pead willing to use d same hospital. I also would appreciate suggestion on other hospitals more affordable. |

hi. it is just better to wait till your baby is born and then your hubby takes the ds3053 to the us consulate and gets it notarised and send via courier to you. fedex. it will cost about N10k but that is the best thing to do. even if you intend to use a notary public the document really shouldn't be notarised prior to the child's birth. that being said. el paso accepts the consulate's notarised form. 4 weeks is more than enough for documents processing. my lo's ssn came on day 8, birth certificate on day 10. same day of collection of bc i applied for passport which got out in 2 days. emeldamicheals: 1 Like |

Me: childbirth and ( i did not say anything abt my dh) Vo: where are you travelling in the usa? Me: houston texas Vo: have you travelled outside nigeria Me. Have be to ghana and my dh have been to china for business. Vo: how much is your budget? Me: 15k ( did not present my budget sheet) Vo: what did you do Me. Assist my hubby in his business Vo. How did you intend to pay? Me: ( i fvk up big time here) . Pta from stanbic.( did not even my debit card) Vo: types for ever. Handes over the blue paper. I am humbly appeal to all veterans to kindly list the possible cause of denial and if i should reapply asap. Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 3 by LadyGuinivere: 11:38am On Feb 03, 2016 |
@scamalert sorry about that. From your transcript u already highlighted areas u could have done better. 1. Next time pass on the budget sheet whether requested or not. Make sure your bank statemt and hospital correspondence is attached. 2. The max stanbic can give you and DH is 8k and you said your budget is 15k. Figure out how u will pay for it whether black market in combo with stanbic or bank transfer. 3. When asked reason u were denied after putting the generic reason (that section what what B) u add that u belive in your opinion that u came off as sounding unprepared and elaborate. 4. Finally from your transcript I think you and oga can still reapply considering that his china is more widely travelled than your ghana and it dosent seem home ties is the issue here (my opinion love) Read the successful transcripts. See what they did. Pick up tips whilst still maintaining your own personality. Goodluck 4 Likes |

[quote author=emeldamicheals post=42561093]@ Lady Guinivere, abeg update me if u get any necessary info regards to PTA. I will do same. As we both are in d same desperate situation. Where are u headed by the way? Sorry, am asking. I may have missed that. Elpaso Mama's, is there any slightest of chance that elpaso accepts DS 3053 notarised by notary public. Abi na only embassy notorised one. Also, how long did it take you guys (elpaso mama's) to finish every documentation. My ticket is for 9 weeks. May have like 4 weeks or so to process documents depending on when baby arrives. Do I need budget sheet for POE or its only necessary for visa purposes. Pls, if anyone knows or hears that any of these banks are selling PTA in abuja. Pls, notify me. First bank, GTB, Stanbic IBTC and Sterling bank Kaduna, Kakuri branch 2 b precise sells PTA. 2 Likes |

sege2016:Caveat: this is my opinion so voltrons don't attack me. Because DR Ezekiel seems very popular both her, at interview and poe, for the visa purpose maybe u should use the Dr. Douglas' correspondence. U can use any doctor u want afterwards. My opinion is on the premise that using a different doctor will kinda indicate that u put some research into the whole process. To sho that u know that u are going for God's grace 2 Likes |

Hello Guys, Been a silent follower of the thread for a while now. Had my visa interview today and was denied. Was applying for an entry visa to deliver my second child in the US Went with my little daughter Interview went thus VO: why do you want to travel to the Us Me: To give birth to my second child in the US VO: which state are you travelling to Me:Houston Texas vo: Where do you work me:...... Vo: Where does your husband work Me:....... VO: have you contacted a Doctor Me: yes and passed forward doctor n hospital relevant documents and budjet sheet VO: where will you be staying after delivery of the child Me: with my sister n her family VO: How much does it cost to give birth in houston Me: $13000 (which was the cost of the whole trip not only hospital cost) VO: Do you have any bank statements to support this Me: passed forward mine n hubbys statements VO: you have this amt, (which was a little above the naira equivalent for $13000) does that mean all the funds you have is waht you intend to use for this trip Me: That is what we have set aside at the moment but we expect other allowances to be paid to us during the course of the year VO: Am sorry you arent eligible for enty visa to the us at this time n hands me a blue paper. MY questions: I presume the denial was cos my funds was the exact equivalent of $13000. Can anyone shed more insight into this Am already 4 months plus gone how soon can i re-apply again ( read 6 months somewhere in the thread) pls help!!!!!! |

seesaw:Depending on the circumstance you may reapply immedately as in the case of childbirth. Howwever, it seems finances was the issue here so until that situation changes it would be unadvisable to reapply so soon. When will d allowances be paid? I yaff suffer today. I have shukk head inside several banks. Only for me to enter FCMB andd my account officer said theu change but I need to prebook. And I'm leaving for lagos tomorrow... |

seesaw:See your life? Thattis why it is bad to be the treasurer of silent readers association. If u have an investment easily made liquid eg FD, then carry along the proof of it. You don't need to break it. Or in the event that u do, u need to take along proof so it is not assumed u borrowd the money. This new detail needs to reflect in the column wherein u explain why u think you were denied |
