Right now I wish I was 30 or proly a PT student, so that I'll just be exempted

That had consistently been my intention many years now I refused to clear for service.

But owing to the Nigeria factor thing in addition to pressure from Mumsy insisting I didn't go to school, I am deciding to do this.

I had always been of the oppinion that this NYSC is just a waste of one's productive life for a year and more - in my own case, by March 2017, it'll be 1 year and 3 Months wasted life since I had to officially resign since January from most of my consulting to give me time to follow up NYSC related matter. And the NYSC lack of structure is just enough to support my line of thought that it is a waste of time.

Many times people work with the assumption that through NYSC, they'll get a good life start in terms of Job and business. But when you follow through with statistics of our predecessors, you'll realise often that its less than 10% of post CM that are ever priviledged to experience this fate.

That is because if you have ever been involved in business startup and development, you'll understand that 1 year is TOO TOO SHORT A TIME to understand your new environment, your prospective clients, your competitors and their competitive advantage, the legal system and taxes governing a city, state or region, that will help you make an informed decision with respect to starting a job or product or service,performing your SWOT analysis, and other vital things that guaratees a lasting business. 1 YEAR IS TOO TOO SHORT A TIME TO DO ALL THAT REMEMBERING THAT THE REQUIREMENT OF YOUR PPA AND CDS WILL STEAL A VALUABLE PORTION OF YOUR TIME IN THE SAME ONE YEAR

MY INTAKE:
NYSC SHOULD JUST BE OPTIONAL FOR THOSE THAT NEEDS THE BENEFITS ASSOCIATED THEREIN
