I wan craze dat day wen Nani scored dat goal. We were on our way to beating Chelsea twice in 3 days at d Bridge only for that inexperienced CB Wilson(or whatever his name was) to go concede last minute penalty.

The good ol days…...

Trust me, the kain thunder wey fire that imbecíle after that match must have been the reason he didn't succeed at Utd. Very Oloshios fellow. I can still remembering cussing that mumu with an empty stomach after coming back from a place and rushing out to go watch that match. The 2 center-backs (Wilson and Wotton) were mediocres.

Wotton was a good youth team player and looked promising until it became apparent that he was as slow as a tortoise despite his young age

I really missed the Man Utd of Ferguson. It's painful to remember we once used to play entertaining and crisp-passing football under the legendary Fergie. Now we are bedeviled with nuisances like Moyes and Van GOAT. Take a look at Nani's goal. stuff of legends.

Who is that defender that Eden completely tore apart in the build up to Ramires' goal in extra time, can't remember the name

Yh! Wotton and Will keane(not Wilson) were the CBs dat night. Wotton was d one who killed d game for us dat night. He conceded d last minute penalty and gave a sloppy back pass in extra time. U-21 or not, dat guy was fûcking useless!!
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by GBR1(m): 10:51pm On Feb 06, 2016
If Arsenal win and we lose tomorrow, I think we can wave goodbye to our top four chances.

We would be 13 pts behind Leicester, 8 behind Tottenham, 8 behind Arsenal and 7 pts behind City. We would not be able to recover from that so I now think we have to beat Chelsea tomorrow.

I mean even with a draw we'd be 6 behind City and 7 behind Arsenal +Spurs. But we haven't shown anything that makes me think we can go on a winning run to be able to chase that down.

The Chelsea game tomorrow is a massive game.

That last line is so true. No be by failing students en masse , just too many sadist lecturers producing lots of depressed and overaged graduates.
I remember a Nigerian consultant who was failing students in a foreign university telling boys "awon omo yi o serious". It was when the council called him to explain the unusually high failure rate in his courses threatening not to renew his contract that he gave himself brain.

It's rampant in Nigeria not just exclusive to OAU.
I heard of a prof in FUTO who also finds time to personally set & invigilate final exams for students who managed 2:1 in Industrial Physics department, causing some brilliant students to intentionally target 2:2 so as to graduate with their mates jejely. Just imagine a student mourning 2:1 & 'ld rather a 2:2 undecided

Story had it that the man himself graduated with 2:2 & was able to propound some form of Theorem in use abroad where he also lectures post-graduates, so he sees little reason any student should make a first class or 2:1 from an "Ill-equipped" school.

May make sense to some but to me such principle is bullshit.

UNITED JOIN FORCES WITH 20TH CENTURY FOX
• Groundbreaking partnership with film distributor • Official Manchester United feature film partner
(NYSE:MANU) Manchester United has today announced a groundbreaking global partnership with film distributor 20th Century Fox. As one of the biggest and well-known names in film production and distribution, 20th Century Fox has teamed up with United to promote its latest blockbuster movies during the club’s home games.
Throughout the season the club’s digital perimeter boards and post-match interview backdrops at Old Trafford will be used to promote films, such as Deadpool, X-Men: Apocalypse and Independence Day: Resurgence. There will also be the opportunity for 20th Century Fox to provide entertainment for fans attending United home games, as well as exclusive content for the club’s global audience via its various digital platforms. To mark the coming together of the two iconic brands, United players Ander Herrera, Juan Mata, Chris Smalling, David De Gea, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Wayne Rooney came face- to-face with Deadpool, the latest Marvel character to hit the big screen, during a penalty shoot-out. This short film of a different kind will be released today across United's social media channels.
Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative, Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool.
United’s group managing director, Richard Arnold, comments: “This partnership is the first of its kind for the Club and 20th Century Fox. Last year in the UK alone, there were well over 150 million admissions to the cinema and like football, the film industry has unwavering global popularity and can be enjoyed by anyone. “Both Manchester United and 20th Century Fox are leaders within our respective industries and we are delighted to be able to work with them in introducing each other to new audiences, creating unique content, such as the players’ recent encounter with Deadpool.“
Paul Hanneman, president of worldwide theatrical marketing and distribution, comments: “20th Century Fox is home to many of the world’s biggest film franchises and Manchester United is one of the world’s largest and most successful football clubs. We are excited by the opportunity to combine the entertainment of film with the power of live sports and the passion that Manchester United fans have for their club and the players. “Together, we look forward to introducing each other to greater connections and more entertaining content that will engage film audiences and football fans around the globe

A coach lost to an injury decimated Chelsea at home and it was because they failed to put chances away?

A team coached by Roberto DiMatteo. The same DiMatteo who was sacked by West Brom and Schalke 04. A coach who is currently jobless. That was the type of team and coach who beat Heynckes at home in a CL final

Pep was assulated by Madrid the biggest club in Europe coached by the best manager active Carlo ANcelotti, Heynckenes was assulated at home by an injured and suspension ridden Chelsea coached by freaking dimatteo
re(t)arded di Matteo>>>>>>>>Jupp.

Madrid lost narrowly to Juve last year, but it wasn't disgraceful.
Pep lost disgracefully to Barca and Madrid.

There's a clear difference between loosing honorably and shamefully.

Heynkes lost narrowly to Chelsea after taking the lead late in the game.
However, he redeemed himself the very next season by beating the legendary Barca 4-0, 3-0 and overcoming a Dortmund team that thrashed Madrid, to coast home to the title.

Pep gets raped season after season with no redemption. grin

We are telling you that Pep's record in the UCL (which would always be used as the major yardstick to judge him based on his previous reputation & Bayern's status in Europe) has been disappointing, you are here exhibiting the traits of a baby Giraffe born with Down's syndrome.

They were actually controlling the game for long periods with no cutting edge.
It was very painful to watch.

I knew MSN was going to rip them apart at some point tho.
Barca is one unforgiving team these days and not the one dimensional Barca of the pre Enrique era.

and aside 4rm football luck/suprises i.e [chelsea vs bayern nd chelsea vs barca 2012] , i think only bayern stands a chance of beating dis current barca team.

I just hope Schneiderlin replaces Fellaini in the starting lineup today...
Meanwhile, Kante is my stand out performer of the season, he is a lot like Matuidi of PSG...Vardy is a very direct player, he gets the ball turns and begins to run at defenses with frightening speed...Mahrez brings the technique and finesse...
We should be getting the above from Schneiderlin, Martial and Mata but thus far only Martial has been consistent in his displays.
