I suspect its because he holds my cloth and follows me round d house walking instead of crawling so he is used to it. he preferred me holding his hands to walk instead of carrying him. sometimes he will hold my hands especially if he is hungry and we will walk together to the kitchen. he just gathered the nerves to do it on his own..

I guess the clay like patch should be craddle cap.if yes all u need to do is apply shampoo 10 -15 min before bathing him n wash off gently.use comb to brush it out gently n keep repeating it till it goes away.

I will advice u seek medical attention or try sebamed. Sebamed users should explain better. But pls take d baby to d hospital since u said her hair is peeling off.

When my 2nd had it on d rings in his laps and neck,I used funbact A briefly. I thot nla makes d place reddish and when it goes the place becomes fairer.
For d hair, are you sure it isn't cradle cap?

if u can get Vegas where u are it works perfectly,or try mixing little amount of funbat A with blueseal vaseline or ori

Add coconut oil to the mix. It's really effective.
Also try combing her hair is portions, instead of all at once.

This has been my cross for 3 weeks now. My 8 months old baby poos after every feed and its lose. He stopped for a week and started again. Took him to the hospital and was given emgyl, ors and zinc, i doubt those things worked. He no longer sucks, stopped himself at 6 months. When i went bavk to the hospital the doctor said it is teething cos he is still over active if not hyper, he is feeding well and drinking water like camel. The thing i do now is take it to the Lord in prayer as i yaff taya for the poo.

Waoh it is well mama. I've given her ors and she's better now, the poo has reduced. Before now it was constipation. May God help us all

From my experience there's nothing you can do really.... My 2nd son's own opened and then healed on its own afterwards when he was almost a year old...

hello dear, sorry about your predicament- these things happen. Have you tried using the manual that came with ur pump? I got a breast pump from www.mifant.com and it was pretty straight forward to use and rather painless.

Now I dont know what type of pump you have but normally, to use an electric pump, you put the breast phalange that comes with the pump over your nipple then turn on the machine, and it would suck your milk into an attached container. Manual pumps also use a phalange, but you extract the milk by operating a squeeze mechanism or pulling a plunger with your hand.

It usually takes ten to 15 minutes to pump both breasts with a good electric pump and up to 45 minutes with a hand pump

Am presently using Johnson shampoo n dat was what i used to treat my dd own when she had it.

@stadora,wash cent leaf (nchu anwu) and give ur lo to drink,one spoonful 2wice daily,
avoid sugary things if still breast feeding and apply MEDISTEM on ur lo skin.

Its called eela/nla. My baby usually has it. Dey say it happens 2 fat babies or when the baby wants to gain weight(don't know how true it is anywayz). I changed his cream to coconut oil. Then like mummy2be said, get vegas and mix with baby tribotan. It worked for my son. The red leaf too works if u are able to get it.

I had same experience then with my lo and what I did was to get the red leave which Yoruba people call ewe flower, boil it and us the water to bath your lo.try not to use a white towel though. it works

D pump I gave is manual, hv tried it out many times But it didn't wok. Hav even dumped it. Besides my lo has refused 2 Even take anytin outside bm.

I Used shear butter mixed with coconut oil,its infant eczema,My son had it.fortunately too,a church member brought me some red flowers to boil snd bath him with it(dunno the name)
Its irritating especially the hair falling out with the scalp.eeew!!it goes gradually but the hair will take time lyk months before it grows back.

How old is she? Have you tried increasing her fluid intake ? I'd just say give her more water daily
