NDU CLOSED DOWN INDEFINITELY
The protest happening in N.D.U by the affected (200 final year Engineering) students which started as non-violent has taken a new VIOLENT turn......Riot hits Bayelsa State Top institution Niger Delta University Amassoma This Afternoon as over 200 Level Final year Engineering students were asked to repeat 200 Level in new faculty. This happened as a result of a Newly implemented Law in the Faculty. The Law state that any Student that fails the 3 Core Engineering Courses will withdraw from the Faculty. After the implementation of the Law, over 20 Final year Engineering students were affected and asked to leave the Faculty and start in their 200 Level. Plz I'm appealing to the appropriate authorities to come to the aid of innocent Students/Staff and Put an end to all these violence .

See stup1d people.

You will graduate at the age of 25/26 and you will be competing for job with the ones that attended Private Unis but graduated at the age of 21.

Employers will rather employ the younger person than you and alas you will start complaining of unemployment and favouritism.

Just remember the valuable time you are wasting now, when it happens then.

@superstar 1. People like you are the problems this country is facing.

That you are lucky or privileged to attend a private Varsity is neither your making nor worth.

2. That on completion of studies you got a job too doesn't mean you are any better than others.
For all you are, remember God made you.

Besides, why must a law made of recent have a retrospective effect. Why can't the school allow those in the last slap of their study graduate and effect it with those in 200 or below levels?

But where is lalasticlala sef

I don't trust these students ...they would refuse to go to their parents and guardians. Most would pretend as if they aren't affected.

Its good this story made frontpage so that parents can take note.

what is even annoying in those pictures is the fact that they are laughing like it suppose 2 be funny.
When they spend 1 or 2 years at home,we will know who will laugh last.
Playing with their future, what a country we live in.

Re: Niger Delta University Closed Indefinitely Over Protest by Nobody: 7:52pm On Feb 16, 2016
The law was rectified to allow the 400L and final Continue normally.. This law was implemented during the 2013/2014 session. So from 300L downwards who didnt pass the 3 courses were affected. They failed, and then instead of pleading leniency took law into there hands and Vandalised the school.

Leaving there faculty they also vandalised the College of Health sciences

Chanting Blood will flow

The hostel of College of health sciences look like what happens when The Hulk fought Iron in Avengers...

A walk through the hostels showa that no glass was left unbroken... Any thing that could break was broken

It was litter with stones and sticks with daggers flying everywhere... was straight out of 300 Spartans...

The simplistic residents of the College of Health science had to run to avoid unnecessary blood shed.

You know what they say "choose your battles big enough to matter but small enough to win - Sun Tzu"
