why are people still exchanging funds above 300 when some banks are still around 280+ ?

u can only use those banks if u need low amounts like 300. i can't even buy an iphone that i want to sell with any of the banks card cos 1 used iphone 6 is about 400usd. so bank with ₦100 exchange rate won't work for me if their daily limit is 300usd

Not possible, atleast on Amazon you can use one card to buy Amazon gift card and check out with the other one together with you Gift card code. But on Ebay, their Gift cards are for US only and seller will not even answer you say you wan split invoice. They will raise one eyebrow for you cheesy

Same happened on my end...client complained bitterly and insisted I bore the difference in shipping costs after clearing at 330/$ contrary to 250/$ I quoted few weeks back...at this juncture, way forward is for the bold only...

Lol @ eyebrow, truth is that splitting invoice would be done outside eBay and Americans no dey wan break rules easily.

Even these freight companies sef, I'm suspecting foul play. Is it possible that they're deliberately delaying shipping out goods in order for them to benefit from the rise in exchange rates as at the extended time.
Because I was given a notice of extension which seemed really odd.
