The traits are not totally a yardstick to measure stingy ladies though, but some ladies are intrinsically stingy and hence can't let go of even a pencil. Relationship is about loss and gain, firstly, don't consider which is gaining and which is losing but do all sensibly and wholeheartedly. Sharing of bills on dates is kinda immature to me, it's best the bill is footed by one person whichever it would be. Men are no doubt supposed to be in charge but a lady who receives all times, all ways and never ready to part materials for her bf isn't worth presenting as a partner no matter how broke she claims to be. Understanding matters in all though and don't ever think your bf would leave u having spent all he has in u and u couldn't reciprocate only to keep thinking after u've spent, he might leave u, That's not fascinating though.

Well,for me I grew up with the mentality that my money must not reach a guy except my brothers.

Spending money on my guy in cash or kind will make him take me for granted,like "she is spending her cash on me,she is desperate" cos that's how African men think

I didn't think gifts were necessary.I didn't play romance with my money....

I could agree to split the bills on date but my weak point was getting my guy gifts on special occasions...I didn't pester for gifts too cos I could afford whatever I wanted..

Now,am married and I can't imagine buying my husband a gift...I didn't give him any gift on his bday in January and on valentine's day.i just behaved like it was every normal sunday.Although, he bought me a gift which I didn't see as a big deal.just muttered "thank you" n tossed it aside

3 days ago,he passed a comment about it and I replied "you are a man,what do u need gifts for? You need anything,you go and buy it,you can afford it"

And he took offence! And I don't understand why a supernatural human being should want a gift from a "lesser" being called woman

Good morning ma. I have been going through your comments but all I can see is that you are not enjoying your marriage just like the way you want it. People have stylishly ask if your husband is not the caring type but you state your stance about his caring attitude is 2nd to known as the only derogatory thing about him is that he is a womaniser. Well no wife pray for his husband to be a chronic flirt but u have a role to play but instead u are folding your arms to watching things fall apart which I don't pray it happens in your marriage. Kindly play your role concerning any area you are find wanting/lacking and watch your man drifting back to you like magnet.
