@fvine & Sugah, thank u very much for ur response. My cycle was irregular as a result of high prolactin but d past three cycles have been 29/30 days which is now regular. The cycles when I was on clomid, it was prescribed by my gynae as he said my cycle was anovulatory due to white discharge from my breasts. I did hormonal assay two months ago & my doc said I have poor ovulation.

Did he treat you for the high Prolactin and Galactorrhea (white discharge) before placing you on Clomid? I think you also need to treat the high Prolactin. Did you ovulate on the Clomid cycle? If you ovulated then the clomid did its job only that you didn't fall pregnant. If you're overweight, try losing weight. Being overweight stops some women from ovulating regularly and they ovulate on their own once they lose weight. After your scan 2 months ago, what did he recommend as the next line of action? Sorry that am asking too many questions, am just trying to gain insight that will help

High prolactin which is hyperprolactinaemia need to be corrected to achieve conception. I went through your post i realise u are on Bromergon which is bromocriptine that i mentioned in one of my post. It is effective in the treatment of high prolactin. I hope you are still on it. Have you check your tube for patency. Has your DH done seminal fluid Analysis. God will crown all your effort with BFP

Good evening ma's I'm new here....though have been following for a while now.....
TTC for 18mnths. ....but I'm believing his word ll be made flesh in me.

Had HSG last year, tube patent. ....hormonal profile ok,scan was ok.....hubby's count was 15m....nobody told us it was low...until recently. ....we have started treating it with proviron and it has improved to 30m.

Im really hopeful

Will like to share this little experience. Dec last year we tried a diff clinic....I did some test and scan, the doctor claimed I had complex cyst with sludge and I was booked for laparoscopy of 750k. ...hubby was almost paying....I learnt of metformin n Apple cider with BSM here...I bought it and I was using it coupled with prayers....
I noticed sum tiny discharge lk small white balls...which the doctor cleaned up.....fast forward to this year....A friend advised I visit another clinic. .only for them to tell me I had no cyst....and ask me to repeat any where if I'm not convinced
I was confused and I'm still confuse....
could the doctor be lieing?can cyst disappear so fast..... ll be going for another scan soon just to clarify.....

Sorry for the long post.....make una no vex.

Baby dust to us all
There are a lot of medical officers out there that are not a specialist in O & G. I also had similar experience 4 month after marriage that i was worried i had not conceive i went to one private hospital and the doctor did scan and he told me i had 20mm cyst that i need to do surgery to remove it and he also said that he would do appendicectomy as well so that i will not have cyst again. Thank God I sought second opinion before going for the surgery. The cyst eventually disappear the following month because it was a functional cyst.
Laparoscopy 750k why, I did laparoscopy in a teaching hospital with less than 20k with NHIS without NHIS it might be close to 50k. We have to be careful with the type of private hospital we go to and we must be sure of their competency.

@eriolaoluwa, thank God u didn't submit urself to be opened lik dat
ACV and BSM doe wonders. They shrink fibriods so dealing with complex cyst is a small thing.
Thank God and belief your miracle
Your bfp is around d corner.
Because of the discharge and cyst please check POD for fluid collection in d next scan
Then check for infection with hvs.
Once no fluid collection, no infection in u n hubby. Start checkin u follicle to see If u ovulate and release eggs.

good morning
how much does Acv and bsm cost?

I did dis scan yesterday USS shows a bulky, non- gravid anteverted uterus measuring 12.1cm * 8.9cm * 10.1cm‎ (L * AP * T)
There are multiple uterine fibroids measuring 4.7cm * 3.3cm (intramural and anterior) ,
3.3cm* 2.1cm‎ (submucous and anterior), and
4.3cm* 3.0cm (submucous and posterior).
The endometrial thickness appears normal.
Both Adnexae are normal.
No significant pelvic fluid collection.

You need to be sure that your Prolactin level is OK now and that you no longer have white discharge from your boobs as it can delay conception. You can try doing the physical check to see if the fluid is still coming out, you'll really need to press hard or get someone to do it for you. Am unable to do mine myself.

Tamoxifen is used for treating women anovulatory cycles. Perhaps he injected you to trigger Ovulation but he needs to have even check your follicles then to be sure there is a dominant follicle that has matured before he triggers it to release an egg. He shouldn't just induce Ovulation with drugs without checking to see if they worked or how you reacted to them. You should be induced but theres need for monitoring to be sure that the drug and the dosage worked. You need to do hsg to check your tubes so that of patent, you know you're just dealing with Ovulation and high Prolactin. Don't worry it will end in praise to God. I don't know much about Parlodel for high Prolactin. Am on Dostinex and Dr said I must continue it until I get my bfp. Are you overweight?
Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by Fvine: 8:19am On Mar 04, 2016
@ eriolaoluwa , thank God you were not conned out of your hard earned money for nothing. Some cysts do disappear on their own and other just need a little treatment. My Dr even says that these days there's hardly ever a need to operate on a cyst. You can go for another scan to confirm for yourself. Keep praising God for he is good and very soon your bfp will manifest. I don't mind your mentioning the hospital oh so that Mamas who may ever come across them will know that may be they're good but like making quick money out of their patients so there's need to be cautious. I had a similar experience in a popular Fertility Centre last year and will be sharing my experience with the Mamas on the ivf thread once am on my laptop.

You can get NHIS in a federal government teaching hospital for just 9k though it used to be 15k before. This covers for all illnesses and for a reduced fees for surgery. The challenge is that the strese of teaching hospitals could be killing but the trick in getting the stress reduced if you are doing it for a specialist care is to register in Teaching hospitals not in too urban areas like Ife(OAUTHC) , Ilesha (Wesley guild) maybe Ibadan but definately not lagos. The advantages of going to places like this is that you are guaranteed of a specialist care at a reduced cost.

Yes Sugah, i'm using both.So what do i do? A Pharmacist recommended both.after my hormanal assay, these hormones Lh,FSH needed to ovulate and conceive were too too low.
Fvine pls help with this. Unfortunately I do not know how to give detailed response like you do.

Vanny2 we might need to know the LH and FSH values. Were they too high or too low? Did you do the test on a stimulated cycle? (Did you take clomid the cycle you tested?)

@ Sugah I feel like I responded to her already or maybe it's a similar post from someone else but I'll respond again, thats ok, am always glad to respond to issues am knowledgeable on.

@ Vanny2 I know you're taking Fertilaid and M2tone which I believe both do the same work. I also know for a fact that Omega 3 increases FSH levels. So I'll suggest you start taking Omega 3 supplement if not the whole Omega 3,6,9 combo. I found single Omega 3 supplements while searching for the Omega Combo. One pharmacy I went to also had the option of counting from a very large bottle; they count out 10 Capsules for N300. My new Dr couldn't over emphasize the fact that Omega 3 & 6 balances out hormones in the body. He said Evening Primrose Oil is also good with balancing hormones but he prefers Omega's over it because Omega's are safe all through the cycle while EPO is to be stopped upon Ovulation.

I have Hormonal Imbalance - FSH, LH, Prolactin in fact everything was off in some of my tests, although I've also had several tests in the past where everything was normal and Prolactin on the high side of normal. I also have poor Ovulation and PCOS and my new Dr recommended the Omega's (3 & 6) which are safe all through the cycle. He also recommended that I maintain my weight if I can't lose more. I'll be getting evaluated again when am set to TTC and by then according to my Dr, he's hoping my hormones will be balanced out and he will only need to induce Ovulation slightly just to get a very good Ovulation and to increase my chances for multiples. Balanced hormones are very important for conception and pregnancy.

Vanny2 was this test before or after you started M2tone and Fertilaid? Are you still late for AF? Crossing my fingers and praying for your bfp.

hello fruitful mothers...hope we are all getting ready for the bumps soon ,as I percieve many of us will put to bed the same day..that will be beautiful. Just want to holla y'all and ask if ginger and garlic tea wont affect ovulation and can it be taken after ovulation? I tried it for the first time today (to improve AF tho I trust God it wont visit me till after the next 9 months) and the taste is so gross, damn it. Anything to carry my little one tho... cheesy it gave me this pseudo heartburn for a while and I don't know if that is normal..
