Now you're being silly...you come here sounding like a very important person that Nigerians will be looking to grab the minute you get here, get over your dumb self. You face more risk in your country than in Nigeria..your body organ merchants are more daredevils than the terrorist in Nigeria. What's more frightening than living in a country where your internal organs are not safe in your body and you're here sounding like India is the Vatican City. Please, give it a rest...and to think I was trying to be nice amidst the lashing you're getting here!!

u don vex... grin

Nigerian Military is meant for Nigerians (born in Nigeria or have parents that were born in Nigeria) - Nigerian Military would never accept you.

The pirates you talk of are called "Niger-delta" militants and they are based in the South-South (Lagos is South-west, while Abuja is North-Central)

If you are tired of living and you want to commit suicide... go to to the North-east (I have told you the risks) - do what you like, you are an adult.

If you want countryside/village life that is tourist friendly then go to Badagry (in Lagos) or Obudu cattle ranch (in Cross River).

I don't know of any good Nollywood films because I watch Hollywood films and American TV shows.

1) oh ok. I will look into the FFL then.

2) No no I was referring to Somali Pirates on the Gulf of Aden. Ah I see.

3)yes i get. But Im well versed in islam , I can speak Arabic and I have memorized parts of the Quran so I think I should be alright.

4)Ah I see. Is their villages and tribal cultural events? How is the Middle Belt region in terms of safety?

5)oh oh all right.

thats really nonsense reasoning. We own Lulu and UAE exchange. The owner of UAE exchange is from my tribe and i meet him during cultural events. We have also invested a lot in the economy here . We plan to store UAE oil in the future. And we have trade ties with the UAE way before the discovery of oil in the region when Arabs were still raiding camels from each other.

The UAE used to use Indian currency , the Rupee till 1970s. Even now in Emirati dialect we call the dirham as "Baisa" (Paisa is a unit of a rupee) and the name has stuck in Omani currency (Omani Baisa). Our food and culture and language has influenced Emirati culture and language to quite an extent.

The Niger delta militants used to kidnap foreigners working in oil companies (and demand ransom $$$) between 2003 - 2008 - They have stopped completely. This is because they were granted amnesty by the Nigerian government.

What is FFL?

Abuja is one of the states in North-central Nigeria (Middle belt) and it is safe...

C'mon people, why all these hatred and bitterness? The young guy just asked a question every other person that wants to visit a country like Nigeria would ask. I have lots of Indian colleagues and to be honest, I prefer them to some Nigerian folks and their backbitings.

Op, you can go to Nigeria all you want and nothing will happen to you. Don't pay mind to all the e-warriors attacking you. Some of them haven't had food all day and thus the anger.

Jos city is safe... and one of the coldest places in Nigeria (most of Nigeria is a bit hot), just don't go to the villages in Plateau state... the Fulani cavemen usually cause trouble...

You are going to receive more bashing from Nairaland's E-warriors... so, get your shields up.

Of course, i am aware of that already. I have studied, lived and worked with so many Indians and i can tell the good, the bad and the ugly ones.

I just don't subscribe to some people being overtly aggressive and rude here, It doesn't make any sense at all.
