That grant agreement mentions a couple of designated banks. Are we free to go with any one of them or are we tied to the one in the email? I ask cos I already have an account with one of the banks.

I don't think there's any reason to panick as long as you're not impersonating someone else and the idea is yours. There will always be a question you don't like, even for businesses that have thrived for decades. I don't think it's a screening per se except for something extremely unusual.

asked questions about the business type, mode of. operation, machines to be bought, raw materials I need, also asked how much of my personal fund I'm willing to add, I answered and she asked if I have evidence of that fund ready I told her Yes then she asked about sales and employment in 3 and 6 months. I don't think you can change the bank assigned to you. You can see the manager in any of the branch and explain to him, then he should be able to give you a direction.

As for those of us who are still waiting for the call, well, it looks like a wait down to the finish line. I can feel the anxiety and BP already rising. Let us relax our nerves, after difficulty comes ease.

if d line u used to reg during youwin 3 is no longer functioning, send an email n include ur functioning line. send it to d first email u revived from Gem and to d 2nd email as well Dat u received dat ur memo was sent with. Hopfully, u will receive a response from one of dem.
for d corporate account, u will receive instructions vai email from d bank assigned to u. u can't use any other bank.

I doubt it. The call is not a screening exercise. It's only to ascertain you're the true applicant. The same will be repeated in Abuja backed with documents. It's part of a process.

I can imagine the tension and frustration.
Going everywhere with the phone and ensuring it's well charged since Monday morning till the last minutes now is a huge mental torture.
I've not got a call too. I sent the admin mgr mail yesterday, which he replied, he asked me to bear with them, that they had a large number of applicants they were yet to reach.

I finished talking to her just about 2 minutes ago. For me, it was just like asking you your name, surname etc based on the information you gave about your business, current sales, expected sales at 3 month, 6 months, your projections and plan. That's all.

You're not the only one my brother. I was called at about 5.45pm today and there was nothing to suggest I was the last person for the day. I believe it will be extended.

They didn't request for refree, for my bank is they sent me the account number simple. But I don't know whether they will request when we get there.
