malton: No derailment, the thread is not about humanity but identifying ppl from a particular region, i.e. the north; I merely identified myself with more emphasis than others. |

Dear Hausa/fulani friends, the problem i have with hausa/fulanis is that they keep shouting 'our leaders are the problem'. Now that you've identified the problem, what have you done to solve it? Why do you find it easier to go on a killing spree against the Christians and Southerners than to start a revolution against your thieving leaders who engineer you against others in Nigeria. If Emir Sanusi or kwankwaso wants all Southerners in Sabon gari dead today, it will happen. Why not channel the same zeal in educating those poor kids roaming the streets in the name of almajirism, who later grow to become killers and bombers. Listen let's stop deceiving ourselves, the only way you can call your rulers to order is when you are in different countries from southerners. As long as Nigeria exists, your thieving rulers will keep diverting the attention from themselves to innocent southerners and blame them for their inability to better your lots while they train their kids abroad. Some hausa/fulani leaders blame the creation of Niger delta ministry, NDDC, Lagos allocation for their inability to make life better for you their subjects. We've heard the likes of Junaid moh'd, Ciroma and others hammer on this. Good international borders should make Good neighbors. My hausa/fulani friends please, Let's peacefully call it a day with this nigerian experiment and save lives for the sake of humanity. Thank you. 20 Likes 6 Shares |

LMFashions: Islam does not allow them to give their muslim daughters to christians but encourages them to TAKE christian women and make them baby factories for muslim children. They see it as a way to conquer Christians. My hausa/fulani friends preach this in their mosques. 5 Likes |

Currently residing in Jalingo, Taraba State. North East region. Favorite food: Massa and vegetable soup, Fura without Nunu, Tuwon Shinkafa. I love Yorubas for their intelligence and creativity, Igbos for their business mindedness and determination to succeed against all odds. Problems of the North: Leadership problems, illiteracy, religious problems, and lack of family planning. Always in support of 1naija. NIGERIA WILL BE GREAT AGAIN!! 1 Like |

fiizznation: My brother, God bless you for this thread. I must commend ppl like you for your selflessness. You opened this thread not only for your Northern brothers, but this is also another indirect way of allowing ppl from other regions to feel the pulse of ppl like you from that region. Please keep this type of attitude up.. The problems from north is chocking other regions and any effort by anyone to address some of it is highly welcome. 4 Likes |

Ok lemme let myself in...I to we already hav a thread on dis before? all d same it's a good move... Am an Hausa guy from Kebbi, though ppl don't believe I am, cos of ma look, and d fact dt I was born and brot up in lasgidi... I love Massa a lot, with chilled fura da nono... Growing up, and leaving among d Yoruba, and igbo..was a though challenge, Yoruba are very intelligent, and social, igbo very enterprising.. but wat I don't like is dat dey tend to see d Hausa as lesser being..it may be a joke sha, but it's common among d illiterate.. but all d same, I grew thick skin from those name calling...and 90% of ma friends are Yoruba, and igbos.. I believe we are stronger together.. we already hav a thread on learning Hausa in d culture section, feel free to come in, and learn... I believe the obvious problem of d North is illiteracy.. just look at d few literate ones, and u can imagine how d North will be like if say 70% of d population are educated. with mass literacy, we can conquer d problem of poverty, and choose d kind of ppl to lead us... and to our ppl, dia is nothing wrong in being very religious, and holding on firmly to ur faith, but we must learn dat we cannot all be muslims...let's stop seeing other faith as inferior..... 9 Likes 1 Share |

Nice thread. Notherners I've met are very nice, peaceful fellows (even though one of them annoyed me when he said we ladies have no business doing NYSC cos they will end up in a kitchen ). It was from them that I learnt that Hausa language have different variations. The Kaduna dialect is more lighter than the ones spoken by sokoto and zamfara. The sokoto guys also agreed that they tone down their Hausa whenever they're conversing with the Kaduna guys else they won't have understand. I learnt so much from them, they opened my eyes to how wrong we southerners perceived the northern folks. Northern Nigeria would have been the best place to live if not for the extreme whether conditions and the religious tension that arise every now and then. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Greatestman Adamawa State (North East) Major challenge : Greedy leaders and too much cabals.. My favorite food : Tuwo shinkafa da miya kuka.. I love every part of North.. The major problem with we northerners mostly is religion issue.. If not we are the most sympathetic set of people in the very country, we trust and accommodate strangers, but i still believe we will soon overcome our differences.. 1 Like |

Food basket state nairalanders (Benue) like myself, omenka & co seems to chose the reserved bench cuz, we're 99.9% christians, nothing in common with the Hausa/fulanis culturaly other than the North this north that geographical grouping."WE'RE VICTIMS OF CIRCUMSTANCES HERE''. wach out, the food basket will soon or sooner become emty becous fulanis have vowed to kill all the benue farmer,be it Tiv's,Idoma or Agatu's. afterall they've Buhari as a precedent. can u guys recall when in the early 90s when one Professor David Saaor of benue state was made the vice chancellor of ABU Zaria and the crises that ensued? that was when i knew that core-north is more equal than medle belts, to worsened it all, he was a christian. B4 u accused me of derailing, check the tribar & religious background of all those northerners celebrating this thread first. ilove yorubas mybe cuz knows the Sw more than those fulani/muslems northerners killing my people in benue yet we votedh their Buhari i ish! . 3 Likes |

payosehtor:Please, when you people go about promoting hatred and religious intolerance, stating things like "Fulanis are on rampage because one of theirs is the president", DON'T MENTION MY Moniker. I am not interested. The Fulani problem predates the current government. The worse we ever witnessed in the State took place under Jonathan's regime, when thousands from Naka, Guma and Nasarawa axis flooded Makurdi after being displaced from their villages. Was Jonathan a Fulani man?? Please, keep me out of that nonsense. Thanks. 15 Likes 3 Shares |

Region:North East State: Borno Northern dish :Tuwo da Margi special or miyar baka What i like about the Yoruba is there tolerance and level of education. What i like about the Igbos, is the business drive. Problems with the North is ignorance, tolerance issues , and visionless leadership. Weak desire to excel, illiteracy and religious fanatism. My advice to all my arewa brothers and sisters. We need to seriously start asking for a plan to be made available to the youths to ensure the leaders today are driven in the right direction. We have long pass using Okada or sawing machine as industrial incentives. The governors and co should tell us what the plans are fir the next 5years and how they intend to go about it. That way we are in tune with it and know what is required of us to revamp agriculture and industries. To improve education and quality of education. Also we must do away with the laziness and begin to change from our individual homes.people most be enlightened . We must collectively manage the feuds between tribes in the north be it religious, land matters or tribal stigmatization(minority VS majority tribes). Above all thank you op and all the folks joining the chat without resorting to insults. 3 Likes |

Am frm the region west of northeast and in the state north of the third most populous state. I like yoruba for their religious tolerance and igbo for being enterprising. North has its own problem that doesnt necessarily needs highlighting here for the question seems to suggest an admission of inferiority. |
