after reading through what happened prior to your password issue and I also presume your pc runs on windows 8 or higher (from the snapshot), best thing I'd advice is for you to install a fresh Os because the procedure used to clear logins for windows 7 and earlier barely works with windows 8 and higher.

You seem to have lost your password then. You need to get a Windows installation device, boot your PC from it, and try to refresh your PC from it.

If it doesn't work, you may need to backup your personal files and reset your PC.

Have you checked your brightness settings? Regarding the faulty keyboard, might be best to take the keyboard apart, try and clean it and clean the keyboard seat. If this fails, simply buy a replacement keyboard.

Get a different Engineer to take a look at it. The said module could be bad again or some wires are broken.

Get your keyboard replaced.

Thinking of going to SLOT @ Ikorodu. Probably wud get a correct engineer there.

Some laptops you can remove the keyboard from the top, while others you have to unscrew the bottom panel.
Make sure you have the appropriate torx screwdriver, so you don't ruin the threadings.

Pls how much does a. 500gig hard disk cost? It seems my system needs one.

My laptop does not share its display on a projector, what could be the cause? Someone told me that my RAM is weakn how true is that.

yea..all those lights are showin..infact the laptop is vibratin normally. I tried the easiest process by remuvin my ba3, then unplug my adapter, pressed the power button for 60secs, then i plugged the adapter back.. Then i pressed the power botton without installin the ba3..it on but was still showin the black screen of death ...i later installed the battery but notin worked. Just worried if it might be the LCD inverter board or the bulb-light. Hmm.. Pls help me solve this problem.. Cos i heard the inverter board is xpensive. Do u know how much is it?

And the date is 8 of match 2016, pleas I need a guide line on how to activate the windows key.the last time I posted this issue I was told to connect my PC to internet that it will activate automatically,I did that but it still keep saying windows key will soon expire

you should be able to get a 500Gb internal drive between 11k - 13k depending on location and stock.

what's the model of your laptop?
have you changed your Os at anytime?
was the display driver installed?
what output did you use? HDMI or VGA?

it's either your hard drive isn't installed, has dislocated or it has gone bad.

Thanks a lot. Model is Compaq CQ57. OS has never been changed. Yes I use VGA. It usually displaces on the projector but the Laptop screen becomes dark. Even when I select appropriate option for it to share display with the projector.

the lights in my laptop is always a standby lights, it never blinks.. And the microprocessor is intel core i3

Please, help me. I use HP mini notebook. Recently, I upgraded its RAM from 1GB to 2GB. Since then, it's been slow. Sometimes, it hangs for few minutes before it starts working again. Is it as a result of the 2G RAM or something else? Thanks. God bless you as you reply.
