The reason the herdsmen always have their way is because they are armed with sophisticated weapons without the security agency arresting them for illegal possession of firearms. 4 Likes |

They will we be asked to definitely say something to defend their atrocious acts by their councils of fulani elders, what they spilled out of their mouth as excuse for sanctity of human life is even more annoying. |

They are mad and Cruel,i know those communities affected, i know how fulani's have been operating in those places. Now, do the fulani's pay tax for their cattles? Secondly, why are the Fulani's carrying arms freely? These Fulani's now kidnap, rob freely and no one is bothering them . They recruit fulani's from other warring African countries to Nigeria and perpetrate all sort of evil on our soil.We need to tell ourselves the truth in this country. 2 Likes 1 Share |

its a damn shame really, no animal should be worth human life and most likely none of the marauding blood-thirsty fulani murderers will be punished.. until we move from this ineffective old-fashioned pastoralist system to a ranch based system, there will be always be farmers-pastoralist clashes.. our security agents should also be more alert, a situation where fulani herdsmen carry automatic rifles and other arms in breach of the extant laws is just wrong.. it is well 2 Likes 1 Share |

Raddie:i Sensible comment who gave them the license to carry arms ani they are untouchable now? The farming communities should have mercenaries of local vigilantes too. Arm them very well and match funali bullet for bullet. We will get there soon, it's the beauty of democracy |

To pay for "cattles that were killed", our Fulani herdsmen empowered to carry arms, in their wisdom went to kill people? |

Pure lie. 10,000 cows indeed. Just like what they are doing in Jos. Fulani just want to wipe out the owner of the comunities and ocupy their lands. The best thing is for the fulanis to leave the comunities. Agatu people must insist. |

Mjshexy: Guy... No think am o... A fulani man values his cows more dan himself, if it were possible he wouldn't mind his cows staying in his house and he staying in the cows barn... U need to come to sokoto where motorists fear cows wey dey cross or wey on top road more than armed robbers or police men.. Maybe na cos majority of the robbers on the northern highways are fulani by tribe.. And they may just be the owners of the cows... Matter of fact let buhari hear that his cows are been killed... He would promptly leave the affairs of the country and head to katsina sharperly.. He may not even mind deploying the military and not even the police to save his cows... 1 Like 2 Shares |

From the scenario it appears that the IGP himself is helpless owing to the fact that if he should do the right thing, he would loose his job. Ordinarily, is that Fulani Leadership suppose to be walking freely by now and giving reasons why they should attack people in their fatherland. |

Whether we like it or not this killings will continue except the govt gets a settlement for this herdsmen.. Were the will ve all the grazing facilities . They can only move out when they re going to sell to end users. Sentiment aside you don't attack peoples asset and expect peace to reign. Mutual respect is required |

cant we just clap for the Fulani herdsman? 10000 cows ... IG of Police is a rag for the Fulanis to wipe the floor with...He should be ashamed... There is nothing the Agatu people or Benue state in general can do about it...even if the fulanis want to murder and occupy the whole BENUE state... |

This issue was addressed in the last confab. It's just unfortunate that each successive government always refuses to implement the policies of their predecessors. And now the IG is back to what was done and concluded in 2014. |
