In what part of the galaxy is telling one "charity begins at home" and telling someone what their problem should be a JOKE?? Is that the kind of "jokes" your friends "laugh" about??

I'm sorry if your "joke" didn't hit its mark. Perhaps you aren't funny at all, and you should stop trying too hard to be.

Have a nice day.

You want to know who I blame....

I blame the authorities.

When the first cow owned by a Fulani was killed, the authorites should have swept into action, and arrested the people who killed the cow and shared the meat....because that is stealing. Instead....they just sat down and looked at people.

When the first farmer was killed by a Fulani....no when the first farmer was injured by a fulani....the Police should have acted and opened a murder/manslaughter investigation.Instead...na look sit down.

And when the population of farmer and fulani was growing.....when the Sahara was encroaching.....nothing was done.

In my mind., the problem did not just start. When I tell Nigerians that democracy means voting in people that will work for you...not people that will give you N50 for saying rankadede.....and then sitting down look after election....Nigerians do not listen.

Tor...the thing has gone beyond one cow,one human life.Make dem sort themselves out.

They continue in this their evil acts because the government & security agencies have refused to clamp down on them & prosecute them accordingly, but let's see where this will lead to.

Yes they haven't arrested any of them & that is the reason why the warnings are being sounded for the govmnt to take a decisive action quickly because tempers are rising & this is bad for a country still battling bokoharam & militancy in d N/delta.

@searching4love are you serious or you are being sarcastic? Are you telling me that I can come to your house without an invitation and I go straight to your kitchen and dish out a food from your pot and you will not say anything?
Until we see things and interpret them the way they actually are we will keep having problems in the country. You can say this because it is not your brother or sister or friend who was killed. Maybe you do not know that these herdsmen go to people's farmland and destroy their sweat in the name of feeding their cattle.

Nigeria is actually an animal farm & I laugh at those that think that this geographical expression will ever get it right. Now look at this, fulani terrorists invaded Agatu community welding unlicenced AK47 rifles, massacred hundreds of people, destroyed & burned houses & properties, no single arrest was made yet the police invited them to a meeting & they still had the gut to justify the massacre of innocent people on the phantom kiling of cattle!!

Please How is taking preventive measures from ungratiful people who claimed they want to graze on grasses, and then moved from grasses to your farm crops translate to being selfish? You must be one of those herdsmen with over bloated sense of entitlement. You are just unblievablly heartless.

they are stupid am an agatu and d whole tin started wen d foolish Fulanis were planning to settle in Agatu..Agatu indigenes r basically Farmers..d Fulanis knew quite well DAT deir cattles wil feed on d innocent Farmers crops..dey r just heartless and stubborn dis so called war started 2014 d government didn't do anything abt it until it led d to d deaths of My fellow Agatu Pple..so dey finally decided to organize a peace Meeting??after how many hundreds were slaughtered like cows, even Men were raped and murdered by d herdsmen.. its just a sad thing and I weep everyday praying for God's Intervention.

For every action, there is always equal and opposite reaction! Do something my Agatu friend. Like somebody rightly said and I quote "God will not do for Man what Man is supposed to do for himself" So,organise your communities and raise a very strong and highly fortified 'ethnic army' that can resist and pre-empt these senseless killings by the fulanis.

Take a cue from Oke-Ogun farmers in Oyo state. After several warnings and meetings with the fulani herdsmen to stop encroaching on their farmlands failed, they launched vicious attacks on the fulanis in that area and the entire fulani communities in that area were sacked. Buhari, not yet President then, rushed down to Ibadan to broker a peace deal on behalf of his people. This was what led to the famous statement credited to Buhari 'why are you killing my people'

You should know what to do my dear Agatu brother.

A clearer picture of why Fulani herdsmen invaded Agatu local government area of Benue state emerged, Friday, at a stakeholders meeting organised by the Inspector General Of Police, IGP, Solomon Arase, when the leader of the herdsmen in the besieged community, Ardo Boderi, claimed that over 10,000 cattle were allegedly killed by people of the area.

The meeting held in Makurdi, the Benue state capital, had in attendance top Benue State government functionaries, chiefs and stakeholders from Agatu and Fulani leaders in both Benue and Nasarawa state and  was presided over by the IGP.

Ado Boderi, who spoke on behalf of the Fulani community insisted that the act sparked off the crisis but decried the role being played by criminal elements from both sides which he claimed escalated the crisis. On his part, Akpa Iduh who spoke on behalf of the Agatu people, said the Fulani were bent on taking over Agatu land hence their resort to recruiting mercenaries to wipe out his people. He lamented that the crisis had escalated to a war situation where women, children and the elderly were killed indiscriminately by the invaders and urged the authorities to stop the carnage in Agatu land.

As annoying as his blatant normadic response is...i would say host communities should in return invade their habitation and massacre them back in return...i ask again...how many are these fulanis in numbers in comparison to the nunbers of host communities? imagine the nerve.
