To the question
Since there are N points and 3 random points are to be chosen from it to form the triangle, this can be done by using combination.
I. E the number of triangle that can be formed by any three points chosen from N is NC3. So that we have
n! /(n-3)! 3!
So if N equals three, only one triangle will be formed sice 3C3 = 1. Like wise for four points, 4 triangles can be formed.

Thus the number of triangle that can be formed by any three points chosen from N is NC3. I.e

N!/3!(N-1)!

This is a classic case of an inconsistent system of equations.

There are simply infinite answers.

Take for example
1. N = 50, M = 70, R = 50
2. N= 42, M =78, R = 58
