I hardly engage reasonable critics of PMB in discussions that try to assess the PMB administration because I believe it's too early to do so reasonably well.

I listened to his interview on Al-Jazeera Int'l and that got me excited to the extent that I had to travel to see one of his unrepentant critics. PMB is to say the least a Visionary, Focused and Dogged leader Nigeria was blessed to have at this trying moment of Oil-based economy countries. He has always been resistant to the Usual intimidation by International Journalists that easily sends destabilising shocks down the spine of African leaders especially and now more than ever, he's becoming more immune and daring. I love that.

His trip to those countries that play the most critical role in the current oil over flow and prize dwindle, has began to yield results as the predicted continuous dive in the oil prices are beginning to be defied. Brent crude closed @ $38.72 today, with a year prediction of $42 per barrel. It is worthy of note that for every dollar rise in the oil price, Nigeria becomes at least 400 million Naira richer per day. This serves to justify my topic heading because even if PMB's presence and lobby helps to increase the oil price by $1, it is more than worthy trip. I'm sure it's gonna be more than a dollar.

May God see us through as a nation and protect us from those left wing elements whose happiness depend on Nigeria's misfortune.

Cheers.

They expect a miracle suddenly. This decay started years ago not last year. It only manifested when our so called only source of economic growth suddenly collapse ( oyel money). Some people just find it difficult to reason individually.

I just hope he hasn't sold the country to islam...because he will have to give something in return to have whether $1 or $5 increase in oil price; thats politics for you and its called diplomacy.

I just hope that whatever he does in return for an increase in price will not be detrimental to us as a nation, either now or in the future.

It illogical how a country like Naija that produces 2mil bpd could impact a global supply of oil that is over 100mil bpd..
A few things happened from last wk till now.
US- the largest econom added a lot more job than expected, therefore the economy is growin at a faster pace, more US folks are likely going to travel this summer.. US reserve bank is going to increase interest rate
China also projected a higher economic growth, so it's going to buy a lot oil. Prices of metals like iron ore went up as well cos China is going to build more stuff. Major Global Economies are bearish.
So please shove down ur throat that GMB had nothing to do with this rise!!

Why are you hyperventilating over something you probably know nothing about?

Oil prices are rising because of the following factors:
Speculation surrounding agreement to cut production (Buhari has some sort of impact with this)
Future traders and hedge funds are bullish with their positions
The greenback has stop strengthening hence the movement into riskier asset class (commodities)

There is no need insulting ourselves and Mr President. I believe it was God that allowed GEJ to be "dethrone" through the ballot and ascend PMB as Nigeria President. There is nothing anyone can do about it. I will rather encourage all and sundry to support Nigeria, irrespective out cultural and religious divide. I believe Nigeria will rise again. Whether PMB or who, again in oil price is a gain for Nigeria, oil being our main source of income as a nation.

God bless PMB
God bless Nigeria.

Op is a clown, Buhari has no influence over rise in crude oil price......the rise was just coincidence, instead of going to look for more investment he just focused on oil, GEJ is far better than this idioot of a president in thinking. Lol

Buhari has openly lobbied powerful members of OPEC for production cut.
Mr Kachikwu also confidently predicted rise in prices due to their ongoing efforts to rally round the big players

Should we still discount buhari's efforts after all that?
