lovinam: It's actually a bit hard to find some of these brands where I am and I brought some cartons of Huggies back with me. I only use disposable diapers at night or if someone is babysitting and can't use my cloth diapers. But if I see Drylove, I'll check it out, thanks. 2 Likes |

ozinetbiz: Please put up a picture. Someone might have experience with it and be able to help you. If its just dry skin a good moisturizer should help. Shea butter and coconut oil are good for dry skin too. Johnsons I feel moisturises well too. Plus sebamed. What soap do you use to bathe him? Try dove or sebamed body wash. But these will work only if its a case of dry skin |

Onegai:My exact experience with molfix. I heard so much noise about it and devided to give it a try, damn i hated myself cos it didnt absorb, it leaks and it doesnt clip well, have to wake up to change my baby at night if not na gobe. Had to switch back to my bleer blier jeje. That last hours, stays dry and i do t have to change him at night at all. Still the best for me after kirkland he used for first 3 months. Blier bleer is 2300 now( dollar palava) use to be 2k and we use size 3 which has 56 pieces. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Allergies: A lot of babies have sensitive skin (even my little kpako ![]() Now, I mix my own diaper cream (it's cheaper in the long run and N10,000 worth of the ingredients will mix enough diaper cream for 2 kids easily and truly you won't ever finish some of the ingredients ) but you can buy organic baby creams, made in Nigeria by organic-living mum's. I know Sahara Sunrise (a nice lady) makes a line of organic, petroleum-free baby butter and diaper rash cream. Also I believe Adunni Organics makes soaps. If you are in Lagos, there is a meetup happening this weekend for most organic hair and skincare companies so maybe check it out. 2 Likes |

@onegai, my baby toi also reacts to petroleum jelly. She had a nasty diaper rash that was not responding to diaper cream and was told to try vaseline chai the reaction was immediate but i thought it was still the nasty diaper rash. I used it of recent again and I regretted it cos she came back with red swollen patches on her bum. @tatacherie sorry u have a bad experience with molfix, sometimes we just have to try different ones to get the right one for our baby. It is well @rabola i'm not too sure o but i tgink u should google Reflux in babies and see. 1 Like |

tatacherie: My baby suffers from gas too..she is 2months. My mum usually presses her tuummy n back wit hot water n wash cloth. Also make sure she burps after every feeding. And put her to lay on her tummmy often...they pass out gas a lot in dat position. don't worry she will out grow it. #hugs 3 Likes |
Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by soonest(f): 8:46am On Mar 08, 2016 |
tatacherie:Sorry o! Colic can be discomforting for both mum and baby. Make sure baby is latching on well while sucking. Always burp after feeds and when she seems to be in discomfort too. Do it till she belches. While bathing her massage(not with force) tummy with warm water. While bathing her too, drop warm water in her anus, you will see her passing gas or even pooing. They feel relieved after that. You may need to reduce eating foods dat cause gassiness eg. nuts, beans etc You may need to get infacol, it's an OTC med for colic Colic peaks as from 6wks of age and subsides before 4months of age. All the best. 3 Likes |
