Hi, pls which course and degree are u going for.Bsc or Msc? when did you apply to MUN and when were u given feedback? Hoping to hear from u ASAP!

mun is very fast when it comes to admission processing ones you dont choose to delay yourself
i got my application not more than 5weeks after my application
This are what can make it fast
1. Try to send your transcript through currier, i recommend fedex (i used fedex i it took just 3days
2. Make friends with their staff by calling them directly not by email although they are also kind in replying email. i call their assistant register almost every day until She turned me into her family and handle my application personally
3. let them know how urgent and passionate you need their admission it will make them unlook some mistake and give you uncommon attentions
The assistant register has already reviewed my transcript even befor it get delivered by the Currier, as i gave it to Currier i aslso sent it to her email. Also they some mistakes in date of birth but she overlook it

4. Tell them you want the admission letter to be DHL they are still responsible for the Currier few, if you dont tell them they will relax and use regular mail service

here is some contact that will help you

Assistant register; Meghan collett +17098644425 (mcollett@mun.ca)

international application assistant; Jennifer William +17098643184

best of luck

please, how long will it take to get the result of the upfront med, can i finish everything in a day, i plan on submitting my app on friday. Am out of lagos and going for the upfront med tomorrow, do you have any idea of their price at ikeja

@kivalchi. Please how much did you pay as tuition deposit in Lambton CPEX program. I'm about to apply for same program. Thank you.

I intend to make only one semester deposit before I submit my application.

Though, I applied through their representative here in Nigeria, same number that was posted above, she'll give you directions

Weldon my fellow brothers and sisters. please i need your candid advice.
I'v studied at NIIT(National Institute of Information
Technology), Ibadan study center. I
have completed a two years course of study
leading to the award of
PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN INFORMATION
TECHNOLOGY / DNIIT (Network
Engineering) The program is mapped to
ADVANCED WINDOWS SERVER
ADMINISTRATOR. Having been completed the
program and i have good grades in my WAEC
result. normally, middlesex university in Mauritius,UK and Dubai are offering NIIT a year top up to get BSc in Business Information System(BIS). But my point is i wish to do that cause i don't want to come back to Nigeria to start looking for job opportunities as it is not easy to get. I have applied to George Brown diploma on 28th January and they sent me Student ID but they are yet to give me offer of admission and that's making everything stagnant for me now. please gurus in the house, what should I do, which one do u think is the best? God bless u all.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by ganiyuadeoye: 1:16pm On Mar 08, 2016
Bro

Both centers are ok, it all depends on your proximity but i think IOM is cheaper.
Sure you can use a month old medical. Your medical validity is 1year.
Gurus in the house add your input.

Best of luck man.

Jlakeside:
Quick questions please..

For those that did upfront medicals in the past, ~ What are the necessary documents to take along when going for an upfront medical?
~I'd be going for an upfront medical tomorrow at Consultant Practise, Ikoyi But someone said IOM in Ikeja is quite better? Is it true?
~How much should I budget for this?
~ Can an upfront medical of one month before submission of application still valid?
. I will submit my application by the ending of this month. Still gathering my documents. I wanna do upfront because of my tight schedule at work.

cc tnuola, hayqinsbFX breadandbeans ganiyuadeoye bjstarpex and others, abeg make una answer o. Its very urgent.

sometimes the patient dog eats the worst bone when it comes to international school admission. my advice is familiarize yourself with their staff get one phone number and he/she will introduce you to another person and let them know you are curious about the admission, dont wait for them to update your admission by theirself, get them to do it for you (speeking from experience )

this is quite risky considering the fact that most of those documents can never be replaced e.g WAEC certificate.

Just a day. They'll give you an eMedical sheet 2 upload on your mYCIC acct at the end of the exercise if you're submitting online, but if it via paper you'll submit the eMedical sheet together with the rest of your documents.. I don't have any idea of the price at IOM Ikeja, I did mine at the consultant practice ikoyi-28k.

Oga Vfs only accepts originals of soa, sponsorship letter and admission letter. The rest must be in photocopy.
I don't know what effect a notarized credential would have on his application

You're absolutely right bro.. I appreciate you.. I just had my upfront medical today at Consultant practice ikoyi for 28,050 and a eMedical sheet was given to me to submit along with my application materials. Applying through paper before the end of this month.. Still gathering my documents..

~My letter of acceptance just arrived today.. Would I need to submit the original or photocopy when submitting my application?.

One can be a major sponsor and the other a co-sponsor
Just ensure they specify the amount they would be sponsoring with in their letters of sponsorship and obviously their soas should cover those amounts and more

Again I know for sure that whatever docs you give to VFS gets back to you when your application has been dealt with. So make yourself comfortable if you choose to submit photocopy . But again i advice you notarise your sponsorship letter .
