A family tree would do some good accompanied with certificate of origin of each family member down the lineage, from sponsor to primary applicant. There must be a valid reason for the sponsorship. On this thread, we have seen pple with sponsors with different surnames get their Trv. What you should focus on is a convincing sponsorship letter and or Affidavit with a very convincing reason on why he/she is sponsoring you, what will he/she benefit from the sponsorship afterwards. Points you should look out for. Thats the little i can offer. I hope am not misleading. I write to be corrected.

Thanks @ralfudoh what alternate means do you suggest? also open to other suggestions.

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by doubled123(m): 11:57pm On Mar 06, 2016
Hi,
I sent you a PM.

Oboerhiri:

Humber never asked for transcript probably because I scanned my Certificate and not Statement of Result. What you scanned is ok. Scan your Statement of Account for the past 4 months, scan pictures of your ties to Nigeria such as properties, family, etc, your sponsor's Statement of Account, your parents Statement of Account, a letter from you stating you are going to Canada to study and you'll return to Naija at the end of the study, Admission letter and school fees receipt for the first semester. There's a whole lot more. Are you on BBM?

Hi there,
I am usinf online route and I plan to send my application this week. The thing is I do not want upfront medicals. To do this, what do I upload in the medical section on the CIC website? Do I leave it blank or what??
Please help me

Oboerhiri:

There's a 2-paged printout given at the medical Examination Centre containing your picture and biodata, scan those pages, then type in the form's code at the top. That code is what is used by CIC to confirm from the Medical Examination Centre.
