NIGERIA VS EGYPT: CHIKATARA YET TO ARRIVE EAGLES CAMP

17 of the 19 home based lad called up by coach Samson Siasia yesterday had their first training session but missing from the team was CHAN 2016 hero Chisom Chikatara of Abia Warriors.

As at last night the 22 year old who recently joined Morrocan side Wydad Casablanca was yet to arrive the Eagles camp alongside Oge Ogogatewho of Sunshine Stars.

However the reason behind his absence we were made to understand is known to the coach of the team hence he won’t face any sanction for coming late but same cannot be said about Oge.

Originally 22 players were called up to form the homebase players who will contest for a spot in the game against Egypt but the trio of Stanley Dimgba,Usman Mohammed and Segun Oduduwa were dropped to the U-23 for arriving the camp of the U-23 late

The team are presently training twice a day with the Nigeria U-23 team in Abuja who are presently in camp as well gearing up for their pre Olympic friendly against the host Brazil in Rio de Janeiro.

If the delay is related to his transfer issues abeg let them allow him settle that first. This boy can turn out to be a great asset to us especially at the forth-coming Olympics.

NDUKA OZOKWO PROPEL ADANASPOR TO VICTORY

Former Nigeria U-20 World Cup forward Nduka Morrison Ozokwo scored the opener to help his team Adanaspor to a 3-1 win over Kayseri Erciyesspor.

27 year old Ozokwor son to popular Nollywood actress Patience Ozokwo populary refereed to as Mama Gee scored his team opening goal in the 38th minute.

Magaya Gueye and Mehmet Sak rounded up scoring for Adanaspor but Ozokwo will be pleased with the season he is having especially in front of goal where he is having his best goalscoring year since moving to Europe in 2008.

The former Enugu Rangers forward now has 5 goals from 22 games, a tally he has never had for the three teams he played for in Europe before joining Adanaspor.

He started his European adventure in France with Nice where he made just two appearances in one and half year before moving to Turkish side Boluspor.

After a season he left Boluspor for Mersin Idmanyurdu where he spent three seasons before joining Adanaspor just before the start of the new season in Turkey.

EXCLUSIVE: HOW EAGLES PLAN TO LINE UP AGAINST EGYPT

Owngoalnigeria.com can authoritatively reveal that head coach of the Super Eagles Samson Siasia already know the players he intends to play from the start will against Egypt on March 25th at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna.

We can reveal the coach and his assistants already have a list of players who will probably start against Egypt.

In goal Carl Ikeme is expected to be between the sticks and despite his late inclusion Leon Balogun as at yesterday was the favourite to man the right full back slot while Elderson Echiejile is favoured to man the the other side of the defence.

Efe Ambrose is presently highly favoured to partner Kenneth Omeruo in central defence although all of that could change as Godfrey Obaboana consistency for his club side we gathered is giving the coaches reasons to maintain his World cup 2014 partnership with Omeruo.

In midfield Eddy Onazi who picked up a red card against Chad is suspended for the first game against Egypt hence Azubuike Okechukwu and Usman Mohammed until he was dropped was also in contention to replace the Lazio man.

However Siasia intends to play Mikel in a defensive role in a middle three comprising of Kano Pillars ace Ifeanyi Matthew and Nigeria U-23 captain Azubuike Okechukwu.

In attack Odion Ighalo will spearhead the forward three with Ahmed Musa expected to man the right slot while Moses Simon although not an automatic choice yet is presently favoured ahead of Aaron Samuel for the left side of attack.

Chisom Chikatara Hits Super Eagles Camp In Abuja

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Abia Warriors striker Chisom Chikatara hit the Bolton White Hotel Apartments camp of the Super Eagles at about 1300 hours on Tuesday.

The 2016 African Nations Championship star will have lunch with the rest of the squad any moment from now before proceeding for training later in the afternoon.

Of the 22 players originally named to the roster, only Enyimba marksman Ezekiel Bassey is still being expected but by all indications he will begin training with the squad today, having departed his base in Aba.

Bear it in mind that Usman Mohammed, Stanley Dimgba and Segun Oduduwa have been barred from training with the team by Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia following their later arrival in camp.

I thought u said Sadiq is no longer playing strictly bc of change in coach. Y bring-in drop in form in the argument.

Aaron Samuel was a regular in the last AFCON Qualifiers under Keshi. And the mistake u often make is all ur assessment is based on Europe, Europe , Europe.

Because that is the most important thing for a serious coach.

Because that is were all the best in the world plays. Only the fading ones goes to China. grin

What were his last two games?
1. Congo vs Nigeria at Point Noire where he scored the second goal to give Nigeria a 2-0 lead.
2. Nigeria vs South Africa where sonne Aluko rescued Nigeria with a 2 late goals.

You have no pint to prove against Aaron Samuel. I repeat he is the second best Centre forward on that Siasia's list.

If you clamour for the invitation of Obafemi Martins, then we should equally call back Yakubu Ayegbeni. grin

His two last matches was against South Africa and Uganda. Infact, he played four matches without scoring a goal.

Martins and Yakubu! grin

As at when?

As at 2010. I remembered when turkey wanted to nationalise him, i went through his profile and watched him on YouTube. He was then addressed as an attacking midfielder, striker and a winger. And if you see the YouTube of 2009, he dribbled all the way from the midfield to score "goals".

Azubuike Okechukwu and Etebor oghenekaro are old faces to Siasia. He has worked with them, they have played for him at national level and so he knows their capabilities. As for Fenando Adi; nobody is saying Siasia should not invite any uncapped player at all, infact no coach will do that.
He is jst one of the few uncapped players invited. However, I dnt expect Adi to start the game.

But they are old faces as far asthe Super Eagles is concerned. So, can we say he doesn't know Rabiu Ibrahim, Brown Ideye, etc?

The truth is players must be invited based on club performance because that will make the Eagles competitive.

Between Aaron Samuel and Obafemi Martins who has the prospect for better improvement taking the age factor into account?

That depends on a player. Age doesn't determine performance in football. What determines is the present form. We saw how Van Percie pick up at the later stage of his career and Man United capitalized on that to win the League.

So, Aaron might be younger but Martins might be better. Na football be that .

Fanen Adi will definitely not start and may not even play, because to me, there are other strikers who are ahead of him in that department. His invitation will enable the Coaches to examine him properly through closer watch and will also help him understand how the team plays before handling him a sub role in our subsequent matches. However, there may be something about him or his game which the national team Coaches see which made them to extend invitation to him. Do not forget this same dude was assured of invitation by Stephen Keshi before he got sacked, same with Coach Sunday Oliseh.

I was a fan of Fanendo-adi when he was in slovenia and Ukraine. As at then, he was inform but John Obuh ignored him. Then, he later went to America which made me lost interest in him. However, i wish him good luck.

But the time pain me say dem no invite Isaac Success and Anthony Ujah ooooo. grin

Siasia says Nigeria can thrash Egypt 4-0 again

Siasia

Nigeria caretaker coach Samson Siasia has said he believes the Super Eagles can trounce Egypt 4-0 later this month as they did in October 19977.

On October 8, 1977, the Eagles thrashed the Pharaohs 4-0 in a 1978 FIFA World Cup qualifier at the National Stadium, Lagos, with the inimitable Segun Odegbami bagging a brace. Skipper Christian Chukwu and John Nwadioha got the other goals.

Siasia said discipline, strong mentality, self-belief and support of Nigerians can steer the Eagles to heights attained by their predecessors, who pounded the Pharaohs 4-0 in a FIFA World Cup qualifier in Lagos in October 1977.

“We can recreate October 1977; why not? The home –boys have come in and full training has commenced. Everyone is rearing to go. By the time the foreign–based players arrive, the competition will be what we want,” said the confident coach.

“I insist that we have invited the players who are capable of giving us the three points in Kaduna and another three points in Alexandria.”

Apart from being two points behind the Egyptians on the Group G table, the Eagles also lag behind the Pharaohs on goals scored. The Pharaohs have scored eight, while Nigeria have scored two in the two matches played by each team, meaning the Nigerians have to start racking up the goals.

All the 19 expected home boys were in camp as at Tuesday afternoon, as no other person wanted to suffer the fate of Segun Oduduwa, Usman Mohammed and Stanley Dimgba, who were on Monday barred from showing up at the Bolton White Apartments after reporting late to the camp of the intermediate squad.

Mikel, Salah, Moses: Africans to watch in midweek

John Obi Mikel has been solid in midfield for Chelsea, and it seems the Nigerian is ahead of Nemanja Matic in the pecking order for this season. He will need to have all cylinders firing against Paris Saint-Germain’s Marco Verratti and Blaise Matuidi when they clash at Stamford Bridge in the week's big game on Thursday.

Chelsea are walking into this encounter on the back foot and Paris Saint-Germain only need one goal to seal progression to the Uefa Champions League quarter-finals. An away goal from Mikel is the only slim hope the Blues have of turning the tie on its head. Bertrand Traore was on the scoresheet this weekend, and could feature against the Ligue 1 side, following his recent showings for Guus Hiddink’s side.

Abdul Rahman Baba has come on leaps leaps and bounds since his introduction to the Chelsea first team, and on Wednesday he could well feature, particularly with John Terry absent. Stamford Bridge will not be a friendly venue for a side that dashed the London club's hopes in last season’s competition. Baba certainly held his own during the first leg in Paris, and he will hope to do the same on Wednesday night.

Roma have the thankless task of going to the Santiago Bernabeau trailing Real Madrid 2-0. This Champions League match has all the makings of a one-sided affair, with Los Blancos coming into this encounter on the back of 7-1 thumping over Celta Vigo. Mohamed Salah and his team will have their work cut out for them when they meet Zinedine Zidane's resurgent outfit.

Hull City frustrated Arsenal in the 0-0 draw at the Emirates last month, and the Championship side will look to put up a fight in the FA Cup replay at the KC Stadium. Mohamed Diame was a solid anchor in midfield in the first leg, and has been repaying the faith of Steve Bruce. If the Tigers are to seal progression, he will need to make his presence felt in the middle of the park.

Gent travel to Wolfsburg with the hope of securing a spot in the Champions League quarter-finals. Despite a shaky first-half showing, Nana Asare put in a solid display in the second stanza, although the German outfit claimed a 3-2 win in the first leg. Hein Vanhaezebrouck’s charges will need to be at their best at both ends if they are to become the first-ever Belgian side in the quarter-finals.

Wolfsburg will do themselves an injustice if they underestimate the attacking force of Gent, and Moses Simon needs to be firmly under the watchful eye of the German defence as the Wolves look to see through their passage to the final eight. The Nigerian winger has been a consistent figure in the Belgian side and could be the catalyst for an upset on Tuesday night.

Likely to start as a substitute, Kalifa Coulibaly offers Gent a potent attacking threat from the bench. Having scored a late goal in the first leg of the Champions League encounter to make it 3-2, the Malian forward will be crucial in securing Gent’s passage to the quarter-final stage.

Arsenal shift their focus to the FA Cup on Tuesday night when they travel to Hull City for their fifth-round replay. The Gunners come into this clash winless in their last four games and need to put in a performance to win back the support of their fans. Mohamed Elneny started in the Gunners’ 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur over the weekend and is likely to maintain his spot, especially with the suspension to Francis Coquelin.

Balogun Happy To Be In Super Eagles For Egypt Clash

FSV Mainz defender, Leon Balogun, is delighted to be included in the Super Eagles squad list for this month's double 2017 African Nations Cup qualifiers against Egypt.

Balogun who missed the Eagles last three games on account of injury was earlier left out of the squad for the encounter before being recalled told thenff.com's youtube channel that though his omission wasn't an issue for him, the reaction of Nigerians fans on twitter saw him overwhelmed with their love.

"It wasn't a big problem for me because, it's a new coach who has been there before and knows so many players, but I was overwhelmed by the reaction of my exclusion from the initial list on Twitter," Balogun told thenff.com.

"I respect the coach's decision because he knows so many players. It's shows that what I do make people happy,"

Balogun who is pleased with the form of his team in the Bundesliga also said he was comfortable playing in his new role as centre-back at Mainz.

"I started the season playing at right back but injuries to one of the centre back saw me continue in that position," Balogun remarked.

"Playing as a centre back has always been my preferred role."

The former Darmstadt defender who has suited 17 times in the Bundesliga also believes the Eagles can beat Egypt.

Ekpo, Fuludu Back Siasia To Defeat Egypt

By Izuchukwu Okosi:

Former Super Eagles midfielders Friday Ekpo and Edema Fuludu have backed Samson Siasia to lead the Nigerian national team to victory against the Pharaohs of Egypt in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Siasia was appointed coach of the Eagles on interim basis to take over from Sunday Oliseh who announced his resignation in the face of criticisms after Nigeria's ouster at the 2016 Africa Nations Championship in Rwanda.

Ekpo and Fuludu spoke to Completesportsnigeria.com on the chances of the team to defeat Egypt and enhance Nigeria's quest to grace the AFCON in Gabon next year.

"Samson Siasia has been there before as Super Eagles coach and will not be deterred by the fact that his team are playing against Egypt," Ekpo said.

"The Egyptians are prepared for the game and I want to believe there have been some checks by the Eagles coaches on their opponents."

Speaking on the comments attributed to the Nigeria Football Federation boss Amaju Pinnick who declared that the federation will no longer hire a Nigerian coach for the Eagles, another former Eagles midfielder Fuludu believes that will not affect the focus of the coaching crew led by Siasia.

"I do not think Amaju Pinnick's comments will affect the coach's focus. I think the comment made by Pinnick was out of anger and there will be a rethink. It cannot and should not be a policy statement.

"The vicissitudes associated with football encapsulate flexibility.

"The players invited by Siasia I believe were on merit and tactical disposition," Fuludu stressed.

Raja Casablanca coach Rachid Taoussi has praised the impact made by Michael Babatunde since he arrived at the club in January,

The Nigerian international had a hand in all three goals in Raja Casablanca's 3-0 win over KAC Kénitra 3-0 at the Municipal de Kénitra stadium to move up fourth in the Brotola League.

Babatunde was also adjudged the man-of-the match award after the game.

Columbus Crew Coach: Adi Is One Of The MLS Best Strikers

By Adeboye Amosu:

Columbus Crew head coach, Gregg Berhalter has showered encomiums on Nigeria forward, Fanendo Adi after the striker hit the winner for Portland Timbers in the 2-1 win against his team in their Major League Soccer opening day clash, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

The prolific striker who scored 19 times to help Timbers win the MLS Cup last season scored the decisive goal 11 minutes from time.

And despite his side going down to another defeat against the Timbers who defeated them in the final of the MLS Cup last term, Berhalter was full of praise for the former Ukraine- based hitman who has been invited by Nigeria's caretaker boss, Samson Siasia for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations Cup double header against Egypt later this month.

"How many guys are like Adi in the league," Berhalter asked during his interaction with the media after the game.

"Listen, he is a big, big boy. He uses his body really well and I like said, there is not too many guys in the league like him."

Adi joined Portland Timbers on loan from Danish side, FC Copenhagen on May 13, 2014 and the deal was made permanent the following month after his impressive showing for the club.

He settled down well at Timbers netting a pair of braces in his first two starts for the club.

He once had stints in Slovakia with AS Trecin as well as Metalurh Donestk, Dynamo Kiev and Tavriya all in the Ukranian League.

Ighalo Not Distracted By Goal Drought, Upbeat Nigeria’ll Beat Egypt

By Johnny Edward:

Watford striker Odion Ighalo has insisted his six game goal drought is nothing to do with the transfer speculation surrounding his future at Watford.

The Nigeria striker has failed to add to his 15 goals this season with his last strike coming against Nottingham Forest in the Emirates FA Cup.

"It will come to an end I believe, because I'm working extra hard," Ighalo told Completesportsnigeria.com.

On the speculations linking him away from the Vicarage Road in the summer, the 26 year old forward says he's not distracted.

"I have a five-year contract with Watford. The rumours will continue as long as I am doing well, but I am not having any sleepless nights and will finish the season well."

Ighalo also predicted tough games for the Super Eagles when seven-time African champions, Egypt, visit Nigeria on March 25 in Kaduna and in Alexandria on March 29.

“It won’t be an easy game, I won’t lie. But it’s possible to win, we have what it takes to win. We will fight for the whole game to win,” Ighalo enthused.

Obaje insists on six points v Egypt
by Humphrey Njoku

Godwin Obaje

Super Eagles forward, Godwin Obaje has said the side will claim the whole six points against the Pharaohs of Egypt in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) double header clash in the month.

Eagles are billed to host the North Africans in the first leg of the crunch duel on Friday, March 25 at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna while the reverse fixture clash will hold in Alexandria, Egypt on Tuesday, March 29.

Obaje said his side will be 100% ready to challenge for the points by the time they are done with the ongoing rigorous preparations for the all important tie.

“Egypt must fall is the song on everybody’s mouth at the moment as we commence intense preparations for the crucial encounter both here in Kaduna, Nigeria and Alexandria, Egypt.

“Our mindset is to claim the whole six points in both legs of the important game to climb to the summit of the group.

“The quality of training is quite intense and rigorous but we are determined and happy to go through the exercise as far as we pocket the whole points.

“We are ready to go undergo even the toughest training aimed at toughening ourselves for the banters the Egyptians will throw at us.

“I’m happy to make the numbers and I have vowed to work very hard to make the last selection of players that will eventually face the Egyptians.

“I’m used to the quality of training in camp and will not find it hard to cope with and excel at the end of the day,” said the Wikki Tourists marksman to supersport.com.

The domestic players are the ones sweating it out in Abuja at the moment but will move to Kaduna on March 21 to be joined by the foreign-based players to conclude preparations for the encounter on Friday.

Siasia seeks to reform midfield for Egypt
by Andrew Randa

Super Eagles

Supersport.com continues with our series on the players invited by Samson Siasia for the back-to-back 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Pharaohs of Egypt.

This time, our man Andrew Randa, takes a dip into the midfielders invited for the game.

MIDFIELDERS

Ifeanyi Matthew (Kano Pillars); Usman Mohammed (FC Taraba); Etebo Oghenekaro (Warri Wolves); Ogenyi Onazi (SS Lazio, Italy); John Mikel Obi (Chelsea FC, England); Kelechi Iheanacho (Manchester City, England); Azubuike Okechukwu (Yeni Matalyspor, Turkey)

It's apparent that Siasia wants to inject new blood into Nigeria’s midfield, however, the timing is a bit off and it is left to see how he can conjure up some midfield magic to stop the Egyptians when the two sides clash on March 25 at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.

The big news coming out of the midfield situation is that Stanley Dimgba, who just moved to Sunshine Stars and midfield powerhouse Usman Mohammed will miss the game after ‘Siaone’ banished them to the under-23 side for failing to report to camp on time.

John Mikel Obi [above] is the main man here, not just in the midfield but in the team as a whole.

He is the most experienced player in the squad following the retirement of Vincent Enyeama and will be torch bearer on game day.

He failed to make the starting 11 against Swaziland in a World Cup qualifier recently, a bold move by Sunday Oliseh who elected to play Paul Onobi instead.

The former Lyn Oslo midfielder has been a mainstay in Chelsea’s midfield since the departure of Jose Mourinho and seems to be enjoying his football again.

Surely, the Eagles benefit from that.

Yau Hassan’s inclusion is a strange one. The burly player, listed as a midfielder, has played predominantly as an attacker at Kano Pillars and Wikki Tourists.

He has strength and a physical presence but he hasn’t exactly set the local scene alight.

Ogenyi Onazi will miss the game in Kaduna which means Nigerians might get to see Ifeanyi Matthew [below] strut his stuff again.

The Kano Pillars man is arguably the most improved Nigerian player in the local scene in the last one year.

He was phenomenal in midfield as Nigeria won the Africa Under-20 championship in Senegal last year and replicated the same with the under-23s as they captured the African crown.

Matthew was one of the few bright lights for Nigeria in an otherwise dour Chan tournament and has now gotten his day in the sun with an invitation to the senior squad.

Former Fifa under-17 MVP Kelechi Iheanacho is listed as a midfielder even though he plays as a centre-forward for his English side, Manchester City.

Siasia might just be toying with the idea of playing ‘Nacho’ [below] as an offensive midfielder or just behind the front two depending on what formation he puts out against Egypt on March 25.

Azubuike Okechukwu’s inclusion in the squad is a testament to his rising stock as one of the Nigeria’s emerging top guns.

Though playing in the Turkish second division, his talent and leadership qualities are undeniable as Siasia handed him the leadership of the under-23 team, which he led to the African title.

It’s apparent Siasia is a firm believer in youth and keeping with his philosophy of having a member of the under-23 side in the current set up, Azubuike takes his place in midfield alongside the hero of Nigeria’s under-23 Nations Cup triumph, Oghenekaro Etebo. .[below]

PASSED OVER

You’ve got to think Raheem Lawal, John Ogu, Sone Aluko and Hope Akpan should be in with a shout.

Ogu has been in fine form this season chalking up regular minutes and providing assists for the strikers at his Israeli side Hapoel Beer Sheva, while Akpan has added goal-scoring to his repertoire at Blackburn Rovers

Sone Aluko and Raheem Lawal have also done well this season to deserve a look-in by Siasia.

But he obviously knows something we don't.

Chikatara Admits Tough Battle To Claim Super Eagles Starting Shirt Vs Egypt

By Izuchukwu Okosi:

Super Eagles striker Chisom Chikatara has expressed satisfaction at his invitation for Nigeria's 2017 Africa Cup of Nations two-legged qualifiers against Egypt this month, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.‎

Chikatara was impressive at the 2016 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) where he scored four goals and has signed for Morrocan side, Wydad Casablanca on a three-year contract on the back of his performances in Rwanda.

The former Abia Warriors forward has reported to the Super Eagles camp at the Bolton White Apartment in Abuja. He told Completesportsnigeria.com that he will be contended with wins against Egypt at the expense of him playing in both ties.

"The important thing is that we (Super Eagles) qualify for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, it doesn't matter who plays against Egypt or not.

"Of course, I know it will not be easy to get a starting place because of the quality of strikers in the team, but God knows the best.

"If am not going to play and Nigeria will qualify, I'll be happy. And if I will be played, then I will show my quality again. I will also be happy," Chikatara told Completesportsnigeria.com.

The home-based Eagles have begun camping ahead of the first leg of the fixtures scheduled for March 25th at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna. The overseas-based players are expected to arrive camp few days to the game.

Fenando Adi, Chikatara, etc

Fanen Adi and Chikatara are ahead of Isaac Success what they have produced with their clubs. Chikatara's goals qualified his club for NPL while, Fanen (Fanendo) Adi's goals propelled his Club to Win MLS so who is Isaac Success. Or you think to score 19 goals in the MLS is not a feat to attract national team call up?

"playing as a center back has always been my preferred role." I no talk am. I knew this guy as a center defender before he was converted to RB.

Siasia, pair him and Ambrose in the defense and you will see how solid our defense will look like.

Madaki believes in Eagles
by Andrew Randa

Chris Madaki

Super Eagles and Giwa FC left-back Chris Madaki is confident Nigeria can qualify for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations ahead of Egypt as the two teams prepare for the March 25 clash in Kaduna.

Nigeria will play hosts to Group G leaders Egypt at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna later this month and then head out to Alexandria to complete the back-to-back series.

The two games will potentially throw up the group winners and the sole ticket to Gabon 2017, a feat Madaki feels is possible starting with the game in Kaduna.

“It’s mission possible, with God all things are possible and from the seriousness I’ve seen in camp since we resumed I’m positive,” Madaki told supersport.com.

“The Egyptians are a very good side, I give them all the respect they are due but I can assure you we are battle ready for the challenge.

“Nigerians want to be at the Nations Cup after missing the last one and we (players) have also resolved to make sure that the Super Eagles qualify."

The former JUTH FC defender also spoke of his admiration for Samson Siasia and how excited he is to work with the new man in charge.

Madaki was part of the Under-23 team before the commencement of the 2015 All Africa Games qualifiers but was later dropped.

He got a call-up to the Super Eagles after that and was part of the Nigerian team to the 2016 African Nations Championship (Chan) in Rwanda, albeit he did not get to play a single minute.

“I’m glad to be working with Siasia again because he is a very good coach and I admire his style,” Madaki revealed.

“He coached me at under-23 level so I’m looking forward to training with him and hopefully impressing him to get playing time with the Eagles.

“Being at the Chan tournament with the Super Eagles was a great experience and I want to try help Nigeria qualify for the Nations Cup and also play there too.”
