Kondomatic: You got it. How can somebody, Anyaoku, reject what has not been offered him yet? Anti-Igbo interests on this NL have been blowing their trumpet over what they see as another Igbo disunity. Anyaoku is like Nnamdi Azikiwe - can only survive with association with Nigeria. |

odeotito: What history are you talking about? Your Nigeria defeated Igbos in war, therefore. Igbos must remain second class citizens in Nigeria? Have you not heard of History repeat itself? Your International Citizen rejected what was yet to be offered to him. Even he himself stated it here that he hasn't been offered any position by any association. Your International Citizen, Anyaoku, with all his experiences and connections. Anyaoku has remained more than qualified to be your Nigeria's president since the last 35 years or so he gathered the International exposure. But Nigeria rejected his leadership because he is Igbo. So what are you talking about, other than your 'Shophischicated' argument by soneone most probably from the self-acclaimed most Shophischicated tribe? |

In 1978 Obasanjo set up a constitution drafting committee of 50 persons. But a certain subtle fellow (Awolowo) rejected his nomination and the the membership strength of the committee dropped to 49 persons. But that did not stop the committee from sitting. So, I don't know why a particular section of this country are very happy that one man in a committee of about six men turned down his appointment. There're still five able and intelligent men remaining who can handle the the discusion smoothly. This particular section of the people will always jump and laugh at any seeming bad thing that happens to Biafra and IPOB as if that is a problem to them. In their region they suffer from endemic poverty that is encroaching all the nooks and crannys of their villages and households like wild fire. Their children drop out of school in their thousands. Their waec performance statistics is on par with that of northern Nigerian states. The worst of all they are being slaugtered in their own region like cattles by fulani invaders. Amazingly, they will leave all these things and be plotting of IPOB'S fall as if it will be of any benefit to them. The last time I checked their region was not even included in the map of the proposed republic. But why they're so interested on the affairs of the movement is what I'm yet to comprehend. 1 Like |

Anyaoku, a veteran diplomat. Resign to a skewed political structure of Nigeria created by soldiers from one part of Nigeria, and structure legalized by a constitution supervised by the same clique of soldiers from one part of Nigeria. A structure and governance system that have left Nigeria in near arrested development. IPOB is a pressure group for political reforms or break-up Nigeria. These propagandists of Falsehood that abound here on Nl where talk about Biafra is banned, you are deceiving yourselves with your anti B. monologue. |

Lol, whoever that doesn't play to prolong this one Nigeria you eat from like a parasite, you name the people imbrcilees, one Nigeria from where you get oil proceeds from the south but use the proceeds to build moodern development infrastructure first outside the areas you get the oil proceeds. Then make plans are on the pipeline promise for similar infrastructure in the east, that's all. Your propagate falsehood that can deceive only an easterner who doesn't know his left from his right. |

nijabazaar: Your conclusion would seem out of place in our contemporary world. Enlightened world citizens might find the temptation irresistible to dub same "bizarre"! The world is increasingly becoming a global village where the definition of sovereignty as a concept would be understood differently from how it was previously perceived! |

odeotito: Trash! The world is turning to a global village, hence there is no need for forced unions. You don't need to be in the same country with Easterners to communicate, liaise and co-operative with us. Even in this global village, the UK is still contemplating remaining part of EU, they still want to retain their distinctiveness from from the madhouse( Europe). Peeps should stop being parasitic and learn to stand on their own, rather than enforcing union with a non related group like Easterners. 1 Like |

1United1:IPOB has nothing to do with Nigeria , PDP or APC. They don't vote, hate to associate and do any thing in the name of Nigeria. They speaks against/insult Jonathan, his government and those in the south who don't support them. I don't know where you manufacture your fact. |

kropotkin2: How do you mean? If I got you correctly, you said he 'orchestrated the killings of thousands of Nigerian troops during the Civil war'. What should he have done as the COAS of the Biafran Army? Everything that happened was during war time and the Biafrans equally suffered heavy casualties as well during the war. |
Re: Anyaoku Rejects Ipob’s Appointment by johntolu: 3:13am On Mar 11, 2016 |
Kastonkastroll: Uncle Wole, a Yoruba man, was there for them during the Civil war. He spent the whole period of the civil war in Kaduna prison for his support for the Biafran cause. He is a very credible person they could use as a negotiator, if they are in need of one, outside their domain. |
