Tiffany1:Its better to apply for BCH or physiotherapy if your school of choice offer such. If they do allow students to cross into medicine from 200L in your school of choice then you can take the risk to apply for physiology if you feel medicine is all you want but you must be ready to face the harsh realities of life after graduation if you make the mistake of failing to cross into MBBS. You just have to plan your life and plan it well. I heard MBBS is now an 11 years program. That's enough to achieve a lot in other disciplines and field. A professor of Yoruba is far better than those doctors you see carrying stethoscopes about. Be wise. |

Those of you that are crossing pls cross to nursing, radiology or physiotherapy or can even stay in you agric. That sector is an expanding sector..BMS in nigeria is doom...some are even talking of lecturing..even the doctors come back to drag the lecturing job with you after their MBBS...just focus on any area you were offered no side is better..u don't know how God blessings will come...remember there is a way that seem right in the eyes of man bt the end is destruction. 1 Like |

I shake my head whenever I see agric students coughing out 50k to transfer to anatomy and physiology here in UNIBEN. they are running away from that stigma of been in faculty of agriculture where they would have easily graduated with 2.1 to college of medical sciences where your 2.2 isn't guaranteed. please except you are transferring to any professional course in BMS :nursing, mls, radiography or physiotherapy. kindly save yourself the stress it ain't worth it. 2 Likes |

Theoretical Framework On Human Physiological And Socio-cultural Background This study is based on Abraham Mashow's theory of need. Maslow ranked human needs into five levels and arranged them in hierarchy with the most basic need at the base of the pyramid and highest are at the apex. http://www.techlumy.com/application-maslows-theory-feeding-practice-infant/ |

Re: Human Anatomy & Physiology Graduates: Lets Meet Here by kowalsky: 10:05pm On Aug 13, 2016 |
Tiffany1: Hello miss. MCB is the junior brother of anat/physio in terms of dissapointment. My advice to you is to strive as much as is possible to secure an admission in courses where you can actually practice . most pure science courses are obsolete in the present nigerian economy. Couses like mls, physiotherapy, nursing et al. Do you know that as an mcb grad..you need a license from the mls council, before you can work in a hospital in nig... And the mls dudes prefer to give those licenses to their compartriots rather than mcb. My point is dont because of i must go to school early, go and waste four years of your life only to come out and get riddled wit frustration.. |

My own candid advice for BMS graduates if they still want to work in the Medical line, apart from MBBS is to get a masters in one of these courses; 1) Medical Physics ( most lucrative) 2) Radiography 3) Biomedical engineering Biomedical engineering and Radiography is open to BMS graduates, that I am sure of. But for Medical Physics,I am not sure, but no harm in trying/inquiring. Apart from these, any way is a way my brothers and sisters. |

darkhorizon:1st degree in Radiography is a criteria 4 Msc in radiography. No BMS subjects can serve as criteria 4 MSc in radiography. source of info is by board of radiography office in yaba. 1 Like |
