It depends on the schedule of both people. There is no hard and fast rule to it. It just amazes me when men threaten divorce and/cheating on issues so simple as common discussion and proper communication can solve. It just proves that there is no proximity. Heck! Some men even pay for professional chefs to come make 5 star international cuisines at the comfort of their home for the family. It's all about exposure, preference, intimacy, communication and love. If you followed my argument from the beginning you would have understood I wasn't talking about cases such as those you brought up. I was reffering to women who prefer bringing in house help to cook for their husbands from the word get go all in the name of career or modernity. Building and keeping a home comes @ a cost and a lot of dreams are lost and sacrifices made. Because of civilization, we tend to refuse to make the same sacrifices our parents made to make us who we are. We are Africans and we have a lovely home front but most times we prefer copying the white who all I see here have 90% destroyed homes because both parents are "career" driven.

Understanding is a very vital part of my argument with you. This subject matter is tilted more towards women and keeping a home. Who said men don't make countless sacrifices on daily bases for their family? Who said dreams are not given up just to keep their homes? What amuses me about most female is that after all is said and done, they still cry the more but in trying to nip the situation in the bud, everybody turns into a feminist. There is so much noise about women emancipation at the expense of the children that soon even the men will need emancipation in their homes. This is the very reason why most folks here abhor the thought of marriage itself. Well, limited knowledge will make a lot of people argue in your direction. You only see what you are allowed to see. If only you know why women emancipation was so much propelled by those who threw so much money particularly into it, you would have a different approach. Maybe a little research without prejudice can school you better.

The abnormality we have in marriages today is because women are so much fed with this "women emancipation" stuff and "Career" driven hence leaving their homes porous to be infiltrated by any available intruder. All these were planed many years ago to destroy the family but people with myopic understanding will argue for it. Ever wondered why people like Bill gate pumped so much money into it. After all is said and done, who suffers most? Still the woman. Any woman who can't take care of her home and looses it should allow those who can manage it take it.

There are different degree's to what is termed "work" or "employed" as regards a lady. The problem with we blacks is that we never truely understood the term "women freedom or emancipation" we just tend to blow it out of proportion. You and your husband can't be working 7-10 as a lady and expect to get the same kind of home as a woman who works 9-4 with her husband working 7-10. Its a simple thumb rule. Family or career. You got to choose one and live with the consequences.

when young ladies wear almost see through or skimpy clothes and they are reprimanded, they begin to argue or rain curses or say if the men can't control themselves, then it's their business, but when the same ladies get older and start having kids and have house helps, they would do anything to make sure the maid doesn't wear such, even their daughters.

Try to understand me. Any job is suitable for every and any woman but a woman who wants a family and want to make and keep a home, not all job's are suitable for such. Even the whites which we tend to copy know this that's why most of them dedicate the early part of their life to their career then latter on in life settle for a family if. You can't have both. You select one and leave the other.
