I warned u guys that zeee will also disappoint.
Since Buhari took over, no good thing has ever happened to this country again. You have been warned.

They didn't, unless you speculated.

At current prices and anything lower, I'll keep buying. Have been buying since 2007!

I hope we would not be required to restart their eDividend setup afresh.

So such a country is where you will advice foreign investors to put their fund

For your info I 've been in Nigeria for some wks now with some foreign investors looking for a reliable franchise for their products but at the end of our research we discovered the economy is in total mess and we don't ve a choice but to jet back in a couple of days from now.

This is what happens in a country where the president presents a Nepa bill in place of a certificate.

It is very clear that you need a complete healing process, and i believe Almighty God himself will healed your wounded heart when it comes to issue with this Govt. and Nigeria as a whole. You mean other countries coming into the country (looking for opportunities to invest) couldn't see what you are seeing?

Yes in such clime things are done in ordeliness and transparency while in Nigeria everything is crooked and cooked starting from CBN down to the public quoted companies .

Imagine this mid-march and the presidency is still playing hide and seek with their budget of CORRUPTION and want foreign investors to be comfortable angry

[Nigeria’s Central Bank Illegally Hired, Sons, Daughters And Relatives Of Former VP Atiku, IGP Arase, GMD Of NNPC, Minister Of Internal Affairs, Other Top Officials | Sahara Reporters] is good, have a look at it! http://saharareporters.com/2016/03/15/nigeria%E2%80%99s-central-bank-illegally-hired-sons-daughters-and-relatives-former-vp-atiku-igp#.VugrKls9Wog.twitter

Those your foreign investor friends...
Chaperoned by a diehard pessimist about the Nigerian economic climate like you;
I can't stop laughing because it's simply hilarious.
Something like asking a pussycat to vouch for the integrity of a mouse.
That investment mission was simply dead on arrival.
Anybody who wants to know if Nigeria is worth investing in should go and ask Aliko Dangote.

What is this present administration doing to our economy?
Just busy fighting only corruption and traveling.
Even to pass budget is a problem.
All the same this is the best time to invest for long term if you have some idle cash.

I know too well, but not all through the year, fresh and blood did not reveal to me the May entry stand, and I strongly believe the revelation, there will be ups and down, some positive news will push the stock up, while some negative news will push the stock down, all these will keep on happening till toward the end of April, then at the lower price one can buy within the month of May. Then I can see green throughout remaining part of the year from May.
this is my 7th of March post. This time around it might be due to Iran lack of interest in oil freeze meeting that schedule to take place this month. As a result of that crude oil price is falling back again after their previous week gain, and this always affect Nigeria stock exchange. But all these will soon come to pass, if you have money now I hereby encourage you to start investing now or when the current bear seen to bottom out, even thou the stock will still go down a little between this month and next month, but after that by May onward you will have a reason to say thank you Jesus. Nigeria stock exchange will make a lot of people greatly reach this year and years to come.

UBA did 60k(20k interim, 40k final). That's very good.

But be wary of Q1 sha. A close scrutiny of the results coming from the banks show sharp drops in Q4 earnings, coupled with graduating loans turned nonperforming due to harsher economic environment ...

You're completely on point.

Though I'm thinking FPIs right now see this and believe the Nigerian economy is still headed for a recession, this in addition to the failure of govt to devalue our currency makes them pessimistic. So they're not persuaded by dividends. They're do not see an exit plan so they'd rather leave now than later when they could be trapped.

Anyway anyone who's in for the long term can sit it out and just chop what is available now. I wasn't planning long term before but as it is now....we are watching...
