Okpa (Black Eye Peas) is proteinous but high carb. If you must eat, then cook yourself with little oil and do portion control. It's very filling so a little fills you up plus it will encourage you to drink lots of water during the day thereby helping limit your food intake if "longer throat" for food even when you're not hungry doesn't disturb you.

I want to beg all Mamas to bring diet related discussions to the Weight Gain/Weight loss Thread for women TTC. @ Venizia, below are the things to increase EWCM and Veejay wetness.

Natural things / Alternative Methods:

1. Grapefruit Juice squeezed inside warm water. Drink the mixture and drink lots of water during the day

2. Eat Cucumber and drink lots of water during the day (I've tested and it works)

3. Insert the Egg White of fresh and pasteurized chicken eggs like 30mins before BD. Some ttc women swear by this to have helped them conceive. The Egg white part of a chicken Egg is like the female Fertile mucus. but you must ensure is fresh and pasteurized Egg to avoid infection. You can pasteurize Egg yourself by dipping a few secs in boiling water. Please Google and read this method up if you intend to do it. I've only tried it once, didn't get any infection.

4. Mix Lime Juice, 1 Egg into Lipton Tea and drink. This was shared on the thread and confirmed by another Mama. This has reminded me to try it out. Will do so tomorrow, I need to buy Lime. Note that zlime is controversial in ttc so if you need to do this regularly, then please use Lemon, I bet it will work same way. Lemon is TTC safe.

Orthodox Ways

1. Take Evening Primrose Oil Capsules before Ovulation and stop immediately after Ovulation. It can affect implantation or even cause early miscarriage if taken after ovulation. Drink lots of water throughout the day.

2. Omega 3 ,6 & 9 (there's a Capsules that combines the 3 in one) take throughout your cycle to balance tour hormones and increase mucus especially Fertile mucus. Drink lots of water throughout the day. This is what my Dr currently recommended for me.

3. Use Preseed lubricant which mimics the Fertile cervical mucus and is safe and helps the swimmers go up there and stay alive for ttc couples (if you decide on this, use half the recommended quantity otherwise you'll be so wet and it will be so slippery that your DH might not enjoy it.

Because you've not gotten positive result doesn't mean its not working. were you tracking your follicles? cos what clomid does is to stimulate ovulation. Release of eggs and fertilization are not the work of clomid. If u are self medicating, i would advice you see your doc. Clomid isnt a drug to be used for too long a time.

@nwarosa dere may be other factors dat may not be allowing it to work. Ur doc shld monitor u wen u are on it so u can knw wat is happening. For me d first time I took 50mg it was prescribe by a nurse dat treated me for infection, it didn't work infact it increase d 2cm fibroid my enemy had to 4cm. The second one dat worked for me was taken after 6months 100mg I didn't want it but d doct insisted so I had to take it and I monitored with OPK and God made it work and maybe bcaus I just had laparoscopy & hysteroscopy dat month.

USS shows a bulky, non- gravid anteverted uterus measuring 12.1cm * 8.9cm * 10.1cm‎ (L * AP * T)
There are multiple uterine fibroids measuring 4.7cm * 3.3cm (intramural and anterior) , 
3.3cm* 2.1cm‎ (submucous and anterior), and
4.3cm* 3.0cm (submucous and posterior). 
The endometrial thickness appears normal.
Both Adnexae are normal.
No significant pelvic fund collection.

Brown beans is also among bt d red beans am talking abt is wat dey call fiofio or achicha in igbo. (Dunno d real name in english). Bt a clue is dt it takes almost a whole day 2 cook. Acha(hungary rice) is mostly found in d north. what is TVS please?

Trans Vaginal Scan. It's a Pelvic Scan done through the Vagina by inserting the scan device that's like a stick instead of on top of the tummy/pelvic region. It's very painless and shows a clearer picture of the Uterus.

Lol. It looks difficult in 9ja settings but very doable. You can eat Yam and Potatoes but just do portion control on them and don't eat regularly. They are good carbs.

Rice, go for Brown Rice (Ofada Rice) or the local rice instead of the regular processed foreign ones. You can also eat Basmati Rice instead but in moderation. Things you can use and cook as rice that are low carb and healthy are Quinoa (Acha by Northerners), Bulgur Wheat.

Swallow: Unripe Plantain Flour, Oatmeal Flour, Potato Flour.

Breakfast & Vegetables: Drink Quaker oats without Sugar or use the Oats to make healthy Oatmeal Pancake. You can also make Fritata ( Mr Biggs Tasty Fiesta) in a healthy way.

Eat Eggs, Fish and Meat. They're healthy and low carb too. Also eat Vegetables they're low carb as well. Pepper soup is also very good but mind the pepper sha.

Beans in moderation though. You can use to make Moi Moi but reduce the oil, Pankara - Akara made without Oil without Oil which tastes as good as the regular akara.

Stews and Soups - Instead of using palm oil, use tomatoes and peppers to colour and sweeten. You can do this perfectly for Okra Soup, Ewedu Soup, All Vegetables Soup
I know someone who uses in all soups but I've only listed the ones I've tried. For your stew, use very little oil.

Fruits : Apples, Pear, Grapes, Paw Paw,Oranges but all in moderation because they contain fructose which at the end of the day is sugar and carbs.

Ok. It shows you have Submucous Fibroids (inside the Uterine Cavity). The HSG picked up a Subserous Fibroid ie outside the womb. Anyway its possible that it's the Fibroids that are pressing on and blocking the fallopian tube. It's only a Dr by looking at the scan pictures that can decipher that. In any case you need to take care of the Fibroids. Submucous Fibroids usually disturb implantation and can also cause miscarriage especially in the 1st trimester and early 2nd trimester.

Your uterine wall is OK and no significant fluid in the pouch of Douglas is indicative that you have no infection.

The plan and sample menu is for weigh loss but they have a recipes section that tells you how to cook 9ja foods in a healthy way. By looking at it, you'll also get an idea of healthy stuff to eat. That's the aim not just for weight loss. Since you're slim, all you need to do is not to restrict your portions like someone trying to lose weight. But Carbs (Refined Carbs) are the devil to even a slim body. Sugar makes the body acidic.

Fio Fio has 2 popular species, the reddish brown one and the clay white one. Whichever one you buy, if you want it to cook faster, first cook in hot boiling water with plenty salt for like 10-15mins, then sieve out the salty water and rinse thoroughly, then continue cooking with normal water. But when mixing after is done, remember to taste before adding salt again because some of the salt will be retained in it. Works like a charm and greatly decreases cooking time.
