OP I guess you are lieing because you didn't mention the name of the party in your report and how do you expect thinkable Nigeria to believe you This is useless since you can't mention the name of the party, also are you scared or will they come for you I can see that all ad hoc staff in this ward doesn't go for inec training because you were all told that accreditation stopped by 2pm, how on earth will you start election almost 3:30pm, I wonder if you people doesn't have brain because what you did is free ticket injury and assault. |

OP, are you a member of the NYSC or lying? Your English is worse than that of a primary school pupil. And some of the comments should have been written in Pidgin English, because the posters abused English grammar. |

Thank your head and keep off the social media with this story of yours. I watched them on TV last night (Wike, Amaechi, Peterside & the rest) and you know what I saw? Self-centered and desperate politicians. Thanks for your info, anyway. 2 Likes |

OBAGADAFFI: Your outburst will not change anything. Why not hold the government accountable? Every government since 1999 has insisted that NYSC will stay. Until there is a bill passed by the NASS and assented to by the President to repeal the law, your last paragraph is simply wishful thinking. 1. The court will not compensate unless you apply to it. It's the function of government and it's agencies. So, the court will not hear the grievances of the aggrieved until they apply to it. You asked, ''What Court compensated to the families of dead Corp members during previous election. '' Here's an instance of compensation albeit the frequency of these is another thing: www.informationng.com/2013/09/2011-post-election-violence-nysc-presents-n26-7m-to-families-of-dead-injured-corps-members-in-niger.html 2. That they are corps members does not mean they are meant to die. After all, despite these incidences, corps members have continuously performed electoral officiating duties in various states. Why don't our politicians stop inciting violence during elections? Why do law enforcement officials appear weak? NYSC will continue to use corps members for these elections because they find them 'unfamiliar' adhoc staff who cannot easily take sides during elections. I may appear theoretical but I need to point out the current realities. If you don't want your child participating in it, maybe postponing the service year when the posting list is out is a practical solution. Playing sick etc may also work. Ultimately, the moment you realise that all corps members 'belong' to the FG during service year, the more proactive you are in 'handling' your government during that period. 1 Like |
