PCOS wasnt diagnosed per say, but i have the symptoms...hairs on chin, deep voice, long cycles etc. Another diagnosis was low Lh, Fsh and progesterone

If Pcos is your major/only issue, please face vitex.
I used to have extremely long cycles too. I guess I ovulate late but can't say if I ovulate strong eggs.

I started vitex on cd42of one cycle and saw af on Cd45.
Then continued till Cd49 that I got my bfp.

I noticed ewcm on cd 30 n continued d bd was honestly I was waiting for af as I was taking vitex to regulate my cycle.

I wanted to give up until Fvine said something about late ovulation.
So I just continued.
Because of my weight I started taking 2 for breakfast and 1 for dinner.
That's 3 daily.
Even with my bfp and taking one daily so my progesterone don't drop to zero. - God forbid.

So I will advise u don't give up.
However I don't know what u r up against and if there are male issues.
Just saying my experience with vitex.

My prayer now is for God to open doors of finances so I can go in for this surgery.
Herbs are cheaper but I don't know if they can purge out the calcified one and since hubby and I are not financially bouyant, then I wouldn't want to take the risk of buying herbs that won't work for me. The only option I have now is surgery. I know He is faithful to see me through this again.

@ iomoge2 i just finished a round of bcp and currently on menses . dr is suggesting another round of bcp for me. but am thinking of taking vitex instead since am ttc. the reason for the bcp was for hormonal inbalance .which initially caused abnormal bleeding , he gave me depo provera which stops my period for 5months and used this bcp to induce the af, am suspecting pcos , since am overweight . pls any advice.

But I don't buy d idea of BCP cos it did me shege too.

Twas after BCP I saw fibriods and pcos manifest.

Have u tried speaking to another doctor?

thanks sis, during d abnormal bleeding biopsy test was carried out and the result says my uterine lining was too thick and growing fast , so that was why i was bleeding and shedding the excess lining. si was given contraceptives to stop all the activities in my ovary and uterus. he also said i had high level of estrogen.

@santangelo25,i feel u my bro,the sperm ish is something else,and then women finding out they have high prolactin level,infact,its from one discovery to another.To make matters worse,fertility centers would just look at a low sperm result and recommend IVF without attempting to find the cause and treat it. it's as if the money the high cost of living in naija has not taken from people ttc is reserved for them.It is well.I just know that this will soon come to an end..

It felt like I was reading greek. couldn't undastand a thing. This yr, after a yr plus of ttc on my own, nobody told me to join shaparly and help myself more. So u are on track. Lets keep at it and by God's grace we will get there.
