Tnx for that suggestion. Will try as much as possible to see that midwife but that will be next month. I also attend RCCG and we have a program at our regional h/qtrs. So I will put in my best to see her then.

Sorry you had a bad experience. I did my HSG in a lab in Lagos and I didn't feel pain just discomforting cramps. But Mamas the oldies years back advised me to take pain reliever Ibuprofen at least 30mins before the procedure and that's what I did. I also didn't bleed or spot, I also took pain reliever and I think they also gave me antibiotics for 2-3days and I was fine. I only felt slight pain the next day which Paracetamol took care of. I didn't want to take Ibuprofen again.

Mamas going for hsg can ask their Drs and/or the operators about taking pain relievers like Ibuprofen ahead of time even if it's means buying it yourself. I bought mine myself, even the antibiotics too. I was just given a prescription to take to a pharmacy.

Hello ATC mothers! I have been a silent reader just registered this morning. My marriage is 4yrs plus. I had a failed ivf cycle on July 2015 and have been trying natural, hv tried some of WIDD many mama's posted but nothing yet. My test results n dat of DH are Ok, don't know wats causing this delay. Pls is there anything I can try? It has not been easy but God is too faithful to fail.

Welcome sis and may your stay be short. Sorry about your failed ivf.

My suggestion, you might need to do a detox and antibiotics for you and your dh.

The ewedu is actually meant for you alone to drink...you just make it and drink it either with a spoon or off a cup. I could only stand drinking with a spoon.

What you can do is to gradually reduce your intake of carbs...you can start by substituting white carbs for browns..like brown rice instead of white, brown bread, brown spaghetti, plantain flour for eba.. etc

Substitute full cream milk with skimmed milk.
Do a portion control.. You can eat 5times a day, but small portions. And make sure the vegetables are larger portion than carbs.
Snack on fruits and unsalted nuts like almond etc.
And don't forget to exercise... Start small and move up with time.

With my financial condition, i know that i can only wait for a miracle in my life to be able to go for ivf. my 2nd wedding anniversary is 29 of this month that is in 3days time, i just wish and pray that on that day my God will show me mercy and bless my womb. @ fvine I did a scan to find out what happened we discovered endometrium thickness was just about 7mm that is why af has not come and implantation could not have taken place with such thin lining. I'm going for anothe iui but this time no clomid which we think it's the main cause for the thinness instead we use letrozole and I will the estradiol earlier too. My sisters this ttc journey is really nerve taking and we still see people everyday throwing babies away. Hmmm it is well.

So em..err..havnt been able to go for the scan yet cos for some strange reason I don't really wanna know what's wrong(praying its nothing)..I think am abnormal ..am a kind of person that things easily get to maybe that's why I don't wanna go for the check!!..well in the other news got a call from ma sis this morning and she told me that she's pregnant and that's not all oooo, she went for a scan and 3gestational sacks were seen..hmmm..I've been singing since morning don't know how to keep my mouth to tell this God thank you for remembering my sis after 2yrs of ttc.. Mamas help me thank God+++(am all smiles and tears as I write)and pls pray for her that she carries this babies and delivery them safely and I also pray that the God that remembered ma sis will do even more for as many that put their trust in him....sorry for the long episode.

Mamas using clomid to induce/boost ovulation, why not look into tamoxifen? I suggest u research on it and talk to ur doctor abt it.

Just wanted to add..she said she got her bfp since last month but wanted to be sure so that's she didn't tell anyone till this morning..I'm the first know shaa.. Said she will tell her hubby this evening..scan read 8wks.. Am starting to think that she was pregnant when her doc asked her to detox..upon all the stuff she drank including one drink sold In ph called Goko cleanser...God still kept the preggy safe.... Am tongue tied

Amen, thanks. I feel sad to hear the IUI failed, but you know what, go enjoy your Easter and don't let it bother you much. God is faithful and makes all things beautiful at his time. Hopefully you'll conceive this new cycle just like @ oleayo22 after her failed IUI. But please ask them what made it fail so that it can be prevented be it in a future natural conception or assisted conception. My prayers and thoughts are with you. At Aleshe bustop there is a scan centre there. They do HSG 20k
One mama here liked their services.

I did mine at foremost radiology centre, no 50 Ogunlana drive, Surulere.
Fast n professional. Got my result in 30mins. As I requested from d doctor before we started.
It's a gynaecologist that did it. He told me to breathe from my mouth and I felt the movement of the saline solution but very little cramps.

At all about to do Hsg, just open ur mouth wide n breathe.
You will feel no pain.
Heard it's same with labour, just breathe from your mouth.

I don't know what the issue is and why you think it's only IVF that can give you your bfp. But believe me, if IVF is the only means through which God will bless you, then he'll surely provide the financial means for you. Just pray, have faith and believe. He's still in the business of miracles. Happy Easter in advance.

Am presently on Metformin and have discontinued all the above for fear of negative effect. A beg make una help me touch light this matter.

So touching but u know your confess moves God.why do u feel without IVF u won't conceive?why do u feel God can't bless u without IVF?so change ur thinking n start confessing positively.discuss your issues with God. Have u tried herbal?have u tried a gynaecologist in teaching hospital or health centre. There was a mama here preparing for ivf n took her time to detox n eat fruits n vegetables n she got her bfp before the ivf
the God if impossibility will visit u. Remember being sorrowful doesn't solve anything. Dust yourself up n enjoy your marriage. You will be remembered according to the time of life n I pray that time is now.
