Kagawa10:So Madrid is the only team playing against the small teams, or tell us why Ancelloti didn't score 121 goals na... Which defensive tactics is this mumu talking about? Against Dortmund Di maria just had a girl the night before and he joined the team late, you expect him to start?? You are not smart,if he wanted to defend will he best his best winger defensively to play a lazy Ozil on the wing?? He deployed defensive tactics in a match which Courtois was the man of the match and Madrid had 62% of the ball Playing a versatile CM as a AM is defensive? Playing an AM as a Winger is defensive?? United fans deal with ya trash |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by sinizia: 9:01am On Apr 02, 2016 |
Kagawa10: So I'm asking you, Barca's 120+ goals, were the average small teams not amongst those that were battered by Barca? How many of those goals did Barca score against Madrid and Atlético? Didn't Barca score those small average teams? So Madrid scores 121 goals and it's against "small average teams", but Barca does it suddenly the "small average" teams are now "big top" teams? Go and sleep with your glaring hypocrisy!! |

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Kagawa10: 9:03am On Apr 02, 2016 |
chrisley024:Defensive players is quite different from 5 defenders like Weedtaker mentioned though! And deploying Modric, A CM who's more defensive than Ozil in the no 10 role is defensive! Gosh, where did this set of people come from? |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by sinizia: 9:07am On Apr 02, 2016 |
Kagawa10: When Atletico raped them severally, was he not playing attacking football? When Mourinho raped Atlético 6 times, was he playing defensive football? When Barca couldn't defeat Atlético in one season, were they playing defensive tactics? You and shape-shifting are siamese twins!! |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by chrisley024(m): 9:08am On Apr 02, 2016 |
Kagawa10:Ronaldo and Ozil could be termed the defensive players then
|
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Kagawa10: 9:11am On Apr 02, 2016 |
sinizia:I already mentioned in my previous post that Atletico are not a possession team, they are a counter attacking team, just like the Dortmund team under Klopp! Hence Madrid dominating possession against them means nothing! You were probably blind once again to have not seen that previous post of mine? Gosh, why do I keep repeating myself like I was talking to some kids? |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Kagawa10: 9:13am On Apr 02, 2016 |
chrisley024:Re-read my post and see if your reply makes sense! Where in my post did I mentioned that Ozil is a defensive player? Dullness dey run for your bodi no be small! So shameful! |

Kagawa10:What are you saying mr.? Na wa oo |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Kagawa10: 9:26am On Apr 02, 2016 |
sinizia:I already mentioned that Atletico has had a steady rise in the last 3-4 years now and the moment Mourinho realised this and considered them a threat in his latter reigns at Madrid, his negative approach rears its ugly head against them unlike when he first arrived at Madrid. You ought to be ashamed of yourself for making me repeat myself countless of time already! As per the Barca example, no one could say they ever had a defensive tactic against Atletico. The Barca team are always gong ho in their approach against Atletico, no matter the end result! |

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by chrisley024(m): 9:33am On Apr 02, 2016 |
Kagawa10:Bro, I'm just having a nice time with your mumu display. Modric as AM and Ozil on the flank made it defensive after we've seen the stats clearly showing Madrid were more attacking. Were the German team that used Kroos upfront and Ozil on the flank defensive? Spain played Alonso and Busquets, used Fabregas upfront and played a false 9, were they defensive? |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Kagawa10: 9:45am On Apr 02, 2016 |
chrisley024:The German team deployed a 3-man midfield system, Even Ancelotti deployed a 3-man midfield system with Modric and that was how Ancelotti got the best out of Modric at Madrid because Modric is a CM, not a no 10 but for Mourinho to put him in the no 10 role eventhough it's quite glaring that Modric struggles in the no 10 role just because he's more defensively astute than Ozil is stupidity at its best! I mentioned this already and thank God that the attention seeking whoore, Hensben has already done the hard work of quoting the said post but it's a shame that I'm repeating myself once again! |

Kagawa10:Apart from the Dortmund game, which big game did Modric start ahead of Ozil as a 10? |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Kagawa10: 10:00am On Apr 02, 2016 |
bigkesh:The copa dey rey final! As a matter of fact, even after Mourinho learnt his mistake in the Dortmund 1st leg game and saw the fantastic display of Modric in the central midfield in the subsequent 2nd leg game, he still went ahead to deploy Modric in the no 10 role against Atletico! |

Kagawa10:So it is now the formation not the 'defensive players' you claimed were assembled or it wouldn't have been defensive if Modric was in a 3-man midfield with the same players, Alonso and Khedira? |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by sinizia: 11:04am On Apr 02, 2016 |
Nigga is more denser than a rock. What an utter Idíot!! You know one's idiocy is hereditary when moving Modric to no. 10 means Mourinho played with 5 DEFENDERS. In the midst of intelligent posters, there's bound to be a brainless rétard, so I'm not surprised. 1 Like |

I don't like Mourinho but... If he got £300m as LvG did, he would win the EPL and may be UCL. But then leaves United in shambles. I understand what Kagawa10 has been trying to point out. Mourinho plays boring football, and that's a fact. If I were United, I'd go for Pochentino. He epitomises Manchester United and SAF's ideals. GROOMING |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Kagawa10: 1:21pm On Apr 02, 2016 |
chrisley024:Do you know the difference between a 3-man midfield and a 2-man midfield with a no 10? You just dey embarrass yourself! 3 man midfield ensures the three midfielders are all in the central midfield with some foray behind another set of 3 forwards who constantly drift into the space a no 10 could have occupied whereas a 2-man midfield employs a no 10 and as well as high pressing wingers to make the system works well! That's why the likes of Pedro, who has always been used as an inside forward in a 4-3-3 set up at Barca found it difficult to operate as a winger in Chelsea 4-2-3-1! Same could be said about Di Maria who slotted well in Mourinho 4-2-3-1 formation but found it difficult to operate as a winger in Ancellotti 4-3-3 set up until he was converted into a box-box midfielder. Same thing happened with Di Maria at Manutd when the team deployed a 3-man midfield of Carrick-Herrera-Fellaini with Di maria on the wing! A 3-man midfield is no longer defensive because it often deploys another set of 3 forwards since the setup allows the forward plenty of space in the middle to drift in and interplay with their team-mates but a winger decision making comes much more under scrutinity in this setup because his movement, linkup and interplays when drifting in, becomes much more glaring to the eye and most wingers are not good at their basic to ensure the setup works well as opposed to when he could just drive down the wing as a winger to put in a cross or drift in to take a shot in a 4-2-3-1 formation! This was Januzaj's problem under LVG last season as opposed to Moyes' set up in the previous season! Simply put, a 3-man midfield deploy 3 forwards which already nullify the defensive approach whereas a 2-man midfield but with a no 10/SS to linkup the attack and also wingers who also contribute in the defensive aspects of the game! |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Spy360(m): 1:23pm On Apr 02, 2016 |
Kagawa10:I think your main point is that Mou plays defensively, which is a fact. But I don't think Modric at no 10 is defensive. Rather you think he should have had a 3man midfield which should include both Modric and Ozil.(?) That would be a more attacking formation. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by weedtaker: 1:25pm On Apr 02, 2016 |

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Kagawa10: 1:35pm On Apr 02, 2016 |
Spy360:A 3-man midfield allows spaces in the middle, which a no 10 would have occupied in the case of 4-2-3-1 formation. The spaces is then filled up with the forwards who constantly drift in and at times, the midfielder who goes on a foray forward to supplies them with the passes and movement needed. A 2-man midfield on the other hand needed a forward (SS/no 10) to link up with the striker who leads the line while being flanked by the wingers! Hence, putting a CM in the no 10 role instead of a no 10/SS is a defensive approach because the forward's linkup play in the middle is cut off! |
