Greeting to all the mamas in the house and congrats to all the new preggy mamas, happy birthday to all april born. My phone has been acting up so couldnt comment. @ fvine i was able to check out sonex clinic and i think he knows what he is doing although i am yet to do anything with him.he asked that we start with test for infection first.

@ all Mamas, can't mention all names. Thanks so much for your prayers, kindness and support. The Chromopertubation went well. All is perfect and Dr said I can start TTC once I get my next period.

So for the procedure, it was done today CD 7. Had 4 days of period and 2 days spotting so CD 7 was when the spotting stopped. I don't know how long the procedure lasted because I was under anaesthesia and my Mom went to somewhere quiet to pray so she wasn't around when I came out of the theatre. But well in the theatre, I told the Dr how scared I was and asked him to give me assurance that it won't be painful and that if it gets painful and I ask him to stop, that he will stop. He agreed to my terms and conditions and assured me that I won't feel a thing. While we were chatting, I was given an IV injection and immediately I felt the taste/sensation in my mouth and can't remember what happened next. Started coming to when I was being transferred to the recovery room/bed. I spat out saliva twice, felt and talked wonky funny, told the Dr that I needed to discuss stuff with him when I feel better and he said no probs he'll be waiting for me. I felt a bit sleepy but managed to get a nurse to call my DH with my phone. I spoke wonky and slow but he understood all I said. After about 30-45mins, the anesthesia wore off and I noticed they put a pad on for me. Also my left fingers feel kinda funny, am feeling slight backache like am having AF, am also bleeding slightly which the Dr said could last for up to 2 days. Now that's it. He sent me home with some pills, and an antibiotics injection which am to take for 4 days.

He actually said what he prescribed for me was Omega 3,6,9 Combo and not Omega 3,6 without the 9 like I thought. Am to let him know once I get my period so that we can start Ovulation induction and ttc.

Sorry for the long epistle, am I just trying to document to help someone. When my Dr told me about this procedure, I searched online but couldn't get any detailed info on anyone's experience.

Got home few minutes ago and need to sleep now. Will catch up on posts I missed and respond where necessay.God Bless you all.

I'm getting married in a month time ,have like 4 more months to be done with service. I was diagnosed of pcos right at 16 cos my period has not been regular from the day I first saw it.Im very worried about when I can start trying for a baby cos my doctor said when I'm ready to have a baby I should come so I can be given drugs to induce ovulation,he also told that I can take in cos some women with irregular periods conceive on their own. I would love to atleast finish my service or like a month to the end before getting pregnant so I can at least get a job ,even if it's a small thing like teaching. I'm kinda scared if after waiting for some time before trying I might end up waiting too long before conceiving.
I spoke to my fiance about this and he said he would prefer us to try from day one but if I want us to wait then it's ok.
I'm bringing this here cos I know we have alot of mamas with good experience here,please I need your contributions and advice.Thank you for reading

DO NOT WAIT PLEASE. I've been there and done that. Experience has taught me.

You can start trying on your own immediately without any drugs, enjoy yourself, your marriage and honeymoon things and if nothing happens to when you're done with service and you're ready, you can then go to the Dr to start treatment & Ovulation induction. You can start helping yourself by losing or adding weight whichever your case is. There is no perfect time to have children, one thing must always come up. You get a job and then you see the need to work small and adjust before getting pregnant, you work small and then feel the need to get that promotion before getting pregnant, you get promoted and then feel the need to make more money before getting pregnant because it will be nice to give birth in US, Canada, even heaven and na time dey pass oh. This is all just my opinion though but take it from someone who has been there and done that. I also have PCOS too although I have regular periods.

I been wan sleep but this your post just clear sleep comot from my eyes.

@ cravingchic, yes the procedures (HSG, Hydrotubation, Chromopertubation, chromotubation) are quite similar just very slight differences if you read them up them up.

@ praiseworks, Sugah, lynsunny and other Mamas, thanks again. I claim that bfp in Jesus name, Amen. Although me and hubby are still wary of starting ttc at 3months Post Op. We haven't decided what to do yet. We're still considering waiting till 6 months post off but we'll see how that goes.

@ praiseworks, good to hear a good 2nd feedback on Dr Okeke of Sonex Hospital, Dr these days have found that infections sometimes are the only thing holding women back because immediately after treating infection,women get pregnant before further Fertility treatment is administered. Follow your mind and spirit as it leads you.

@ Mamakendra, Nwanne m irrespective of who is bringing the money and at whatever %, the husband and wife's name should be on the document. It should read Mr Emeka and Mrs Nkechi Mamakendra. Meaning that both your first names should be there not just Mr and Mrs Mamakendra because for your family and the world, Mr and Mrs Mama Kendra go plenty and if he puts only his first name without your first name, then remember that there can be plenty Mrs Mamakendra and you can't ever lay claim to the property. Biko use wisdom and avoid stories that touch, don't tell him it's because you're bringing a bigger share of the money sha. That's the way I and my husband have our names on the landed property we just got.

standard investigation(hsg inclusive) is 100k
registration is 20k.

N:B- they have another three in one package where you pay for three proceedures at once incase there is a failed first or second cycle for 300k. All will be well dear.

Yes he does know his onions very well. It's best you walk into the hospital anytime Mon-Sat. You don't need a pre-booking or anything of that sort but you need to go early as its usually first come first serve basis except maybe if you're coming from afar. Which state are you in?

mamas in the house pls I need your help and advice fvine, 4realwoman and other mama's pls don't read and pass. TTC has dealt with me, Jan. 5th. was my 3rd yr wedding anniversary few weeks after wedding I went back to school and dh was in another state. I used to miss him so much that even in the dream I will be having sex, I never thought it was an attack so when I told him we decided to be seeing each other at most 2 months. but it didn't stop the attack, July 2014 I was diagnosed of fibroid but insignificant and dh low sperm count and low motility was place on drug and was certified OK last yr. but in me I know that the above mentioned reports was not really the cause of our infertility I believe is spiritual. In a bid to overcome this I have been fasting praying going for deliverance but all to no avail so i decided to remove my mind in any thing sex and it had been working but in the other hand I don't respond to sex again as I used to and don't even allow my dh to touch those places that usually makes me wet he only climb and come down. this morning he accused me of infidelity and I don't blame him. mamas I need help to get myself back with out the attack occurring again. thanks for reading my long ranting but I am in a big mess. remember I used to complain of not being satisfied sexually now he thinks I started getting the satisfaction elsewhere. I love him so much that I have never thought of such let alone doing it. I graduated November 2014. and have lived together since then.
