Continue deceiving yourselves. Some of our youths have been brainwashed beyond repair. It's very obvious that this government lacks the vision, the capacity, the grey matter to move this nation forward. Yet some people are still defending them, instead of rising with one voice to condemn this maladministration.
Continue defending the indefensible while your future keeps fretting away.

In my personal opinion i believe what we are facing in Nigeria today is just a little sacrifice needed to make things right. And am not surprise if Nigerians prefer to choose GEJ administration to that of PMB because most Nigerians are the descendant of Philippines who prefer to spare the thief life's to nail jesus the savior.

I rather entrust a dullard, unreasonable, rigid buhari with subsidy removal than a kleptomanic, corrupt, shameless, idea bereft, god-forsaken, good for nothing PDP govt led by GEJ.
Nigerians, we are a people whose mentality has been battered by chronic dementia induced by decades of economic looting and deprivation.
We forgive, forget and move on easily.
This is a weakness that our politicians have exploited for long. It is time we rise up and hold this govt responsible and make them sit down to deliver the dividend of democracy.
What nigerians yearn for are the basic needs of life. If any party or individual thinks our demands are too enormous to be met, then they better be ready to ship out.
PDP took us for granted for so long but now we are smarter.

One of the major problems wrong with Nigerians is that we forget easily. This is the reason why hardened criminals and looters in the past can easily come back and contest for public office to the extent of winning. It is so sad that some people, mostly youths who are the leaders of tomorrow are going about with the slogan "#BringBackOurCorruption". They say they want the last administration presided by Good luck Ebele Jonathan back in power cos they can't stand the current fuel scarcity amidst other challenges that I believe the Nation will breeze through in due time.

This brainwashed blind bats who love to view things ethnically are quick to forget that the fuel scarcity experienced towards the end of the last administration's tenure was really unbearable compared to what we are currently facing now. Then, major sectors were shutting down, from telecommunications to the media, from aviation to banking. Nigerians were literally cut off from the rest of the world during that period. A period in which getting a bus to the bank to withdraw money was difficult cos buses had no fuel. When you manage to get to the bank, you are told you arrived late cos they close early due to shortage of diesel. Was the power sector any different?

Take a look at the pictures of fuel scarcity events that took place in the last administration below and tell me that Nigerians didn't make a good choice in voting them out.

Let me ask u dis question, what exactly has d govt said is d cause of the scarcity so far Dis same govt claimed dey worked on the refineries and dey were up and functional. At some other point we heard dey were functional though not fully and den dey eventually came out with the truth dat it was still non functional. We all know d refineries haven't been working and no one really expect it to b back up any time soon but why seek to score cheap political points at d detriment of Nigerians. Jus d other day d govt claimed it was resuming subsidy payments but yet at no point did d marketers come out to say it was because of default in subsidy payments dats y d fuel scarcity still lingers. And jus today we hear some ppl from NNPC claim d govt had stopped subsidy payment and was going ahead with its removal.. Some of U obviously think such confusing statements /stance from the govt of d day is normal but it's not. Deep down within urselves u know things haven't turned up so well dats y some of U kip grasping at wateva straws u can from the previous administration.
If you follow the News and press releases from NNPC and kachikwu, you would see they have been plagued from One problem to another, When 1 issue is corrected another brews up, when its corrected, yet another crops up, The situation is really terrible, but my confidence grows everyday because i see genuine efforts by the Minister of State to fix things,
So far its been
Paying Outstanding Subsidies last year
Removing the Subsidy
Regulating Prices
Fixing the obsolete refineries
Filling the Gap by Making NNPC a major importer instead
Proposing over 150 new mega filling Stations
to Begging the CBN and Multinational Oil coys for forex for Private Marketers
reintroducing the major marketers that pulled off to ease shortfalls while short term plans takes off
Restructuring the NNPC for better productivity
Approving licenses for Modular refineries
Engaging the International Oil coys to manage existing Refineries..

Nigerians are not very patient people but we should cut the Ministers some slack, he's promised the queues would end 2 weeks into april

You see, this cheery picking is the reason we can never arrive at a consensus over the state of affairs in the country.

How dare you absolve the past admin for what we experienced, conveniently laying the blames at the doorsteps of "detractors", only to lampoon the current admin siting administrative ineptitude? What manner of logic is that??

Granted, the scarcity this time has lasted longer than expected and it is indeed regrettable, but you don't credit detractors for a similar experience under Jonathan- that to me is the height of chaotic reasoning.

Positions such as this taken by pro-Jo posters is the reason why I told myself I'd be damned if I openly condemned/criticised Baba's policies/admin (I feel my criticism of the budget was even in error).

As for that Linda-Ikeji puss wannabe, keep following around, you have a very loooooooooong way to go. I shall so ignore you you'd begin to doubt even your own existence. Fugly beyach. cheesy

Oya continue blaming past administration if that's what will make you happy for the next 4yrs

@ op, be sincere it was not this bad under Jonathan, mind you the shortage of fuel towards the end of Jonathan's tenure was a grand manipulations from the detractors of his government just to whip up sentiments from the already angry electorates who are hell bent to get him out. Jonathan's government had the singular honour of stopping our seasonal December 24th-28th shortage of fuel we witnessed for 6 years under Obj's eight years.... This is the noble truth.

From my observation, you have said the truth and so will your comments continue to earn more likes even more than the op's comments here.

I hate the stupidity of these anti-Buhari supporters, fact is Nigeria was broke and living off credit, now our credit has finished and the Effect is massive debt the repvious administration left us in. We need to pay of this debt which involves cutting unnecessary expenditures, fighting GEJ BOTS, trimming out budgets and saving money. Deep down in our mind we all know if GEJ had continued this country would have melted hence the change, most people shouting where is the change didn't even vote, but they are loudest empty barrels. I for once support Buhari now and I won't judge until 2019.

go $uck out yo moma all you Buhari haters and EP in Nigeria

Please can we stop all these stupidity?
So what if there was fuel scarcity in the past.
Is that enough reason to continue suffering it now?
Where is the CHANGE this government promised us?
Instead of you guys to be looking for what we propel us forward we are going to the past to dig up one of our worst moments just to make up for the ineptitude of this present administration.
I spit on this thread and whatever it stands for!

Sorry for that.
petroluem marketers who were owed some arrears were afraid that the new administration will nit settle the debt because buhari disclaimed subsidy payment. so the marketers went on industrial action to force govt to pay them before leaving. thats what resulted in that may 2015 scarcity.
Oh! it's no longer APC sabotaging, it's now petroleum marketers that went on industrial action because they feared a Buhari who hadn't even been sworn in?... You don't even think the GEJ led government which owed them their arrears since August 2014 should be blamed?... But you think a Buhari who hadn't even been sworn in should be blamed for fuel scarcity which happened when GEJ was still president?....

And now, you strangely don't think the marketers who refused to import fuel (because they aren't making enough profits any more) should be blamed, you rather think the blame should all be on Buhari's head?.... What a bizarre theory!

You know, as a normal concerned Nigerian, I should also be wailing over the shortcomings of PMB's government and the sufferings of Nigerians, but when I see the way some jonathanians defend the indefensible with the weirdest conspiracy theories, I would be silly if I abandon Buhari now and start blaming him for anything.

@op, its quite unfortunate you comparing last minute administration with a fresh one such as this, from ur responds its simply shows you posted this not to teach nor justify ur position but to mock a particular group of people. As for the present situation of the country only time shall tell.

OP shame on you. So you mean to tell me that you are enjoying this current hardship as compared to GEJ's government. When those companies were shutting down, was it up to a week and they began work perfectly? this PMB's administration has gone more than 2 weeks now and no hope in the future. I just hate all of you supporting the dullard. Cows

this to my believing ratio could put an end to all mess dat had overtaken naija for a longer period.
