i have done hsg,had patent tubes. scans show I have normal ovaries. I am certain I ovulate because I have regular cycles ,ovulation pain and positive opk. my obgyn prescribed clomid and vit e. He says it's to improve egg quality

@Dazzle86, to the best of my knowledge, clomid doesnt improve egg quality it only tricks your brain to ovulate more hence the release of multiple eggs and a better chance that one of the egg will get fertilized.....i wish you best of luck

Know ds ' d darkest nite is just b4 d dawn'. It will be over soon. And it will be like a dream. I hv a friend dat got married d same year wt me. Ttc dealt wt her too, series of bad report, from low count, fibriod, hormonal inbalance to blocked tubes. She has done all she cud but nothing seems to work, she got tired, stop ttc and lived her life. Few months to her seventh anniversary she missed her period over 2 weeks and she dd not even bother to test. She was having pains in her breast but she tot it was cancer. When she cud no longer endure d pains she went to d hospital. The doctor on duty refuse to do pt for her b/c according to him she can never be pregnant wt d medical report. I ask her to buy #50 strips. Guess what! She was actually pregnant. She gave birth to a beautiful boy. Summary, pls let's all relax, I no its not an easy thing to do but pls lets try b/c our miracle usually comes wen we are in a relaxed state. Sisters pls relax, take good care of yourselves, look beautiful. that we are ttc does not make us less. Look for what makes u happy and do it. For me its to have a sound love making wt dh. Pweetiebabe we seem to b in the same boat and mood. My wedding anniversary is on d 9th of May too and i cant believe that i am not looking forward to it. It's so painful that i have to go thru this alone. Hubby is not just supportive making the journey so long and lonely.

Don't take extra Vit C since you got M2tone. Just eat healthy plus fruits and vegetables. Drink plenty of water and use Preseed to counteract the dryness that can happen with clomid. Yours is just like the combo my Dr has lined up for me, Clomid, M2tone, Vit B6 & Dexa. Am currently on Met 1000.

sorry @fvine ori nwa is not fibroid its almost unexplained but its known to the native mamas alone,the ijaw massager that massaged me said its in the tummy and it eats children thereby causing miscarriages expecially those miscarriages that defies orthodox treatment and cant be explained was told sugar helps it too, for me i was given a very bitter herbs to take just in case its there. A mama here as known as mypeace mama Nanichukwu had to go to her village to get hers sorted out.you can check her post. other mamas too can help in ths regard.

Mamas who are down for the moment, please hang in there. It is well. My advice to you all is to take up a challenge. Please find something challenging to do to take your mind off ATC. Things like sewing, catering, hair dressing. Anything that will keep you so busy and take almost your entire time in a day. I have noticed its the siddon look thing that brings depression.


If you're underweight, try to put on some weight. If you're overweight, try to lose some weight. I tell you it will make you feel good. Traveled to see dh over the weekend and realized i lost 3kg. Dont know whether its due to the trauma i faced in the hands of MIL and SIL or the high protein diet i did last week but i felt good. See me forming agbani darego and even flirting with a guy who flirted with me (harmless flirtation o. Before una go say na person wife be dis?) Now i have a challenge to lose more weight before i see dh again and to stop his best man from calling me orobo. ATC is the least thing on my mind now because i'm now thinking of something else. Even when i was told my family friend is pregnant with her fourth child and is praying for a baby girl because she already has three boys, i didnt feel bad. Just prayed with her.


My point is find simething that will make you forget ATC for now. It's not going to be easy but try. We can do all things through Christ that strengthens us. Dh was the one who asked me about my ovulation this cycle. Dont care about it anymore. Sarah wasnt ovulating before she conceived Isaac abeg. We cannot come and go and die because of ATC when God is still on the throne.

Exodus 14:14 says, The Lord shall fight for you and ye shall hold your peace. When you have done it all, then it's time to hold your peace.

@ All Mamas especially those who were sad yesterday, I concur with @ fruitfulwoman, get busy and try to take your mind off ttc. I made a long post on that sometime with tips and what helped me. For me it was Project Weight Loss and Crotchet. Next in line is Sewing. I believe these things will serve their purpose both now that am ttc and after. Because when these babies eventually arrive, I'll be one sexy healthy Mama full of energy to take care of them; making pretty Crotchet items and sewing pretty things for them. God is still on the throne and will do what he says he will do which in this case is making us fruitful for none shall be barren in the land is his promise.
