The effect of ethnicity division and religion play a major role in Nigeria voting pattern. 2015 is a very clear example of how religion and ethnicity has eating up our conscience that we now vote for mr A coz is my bro or mr B coz we practice the same religion. The northern Nigeria are predominantly Muslim I know many will argue this ? Check from the executive governors it shows you who are the majority. In southeastern & south south part of the country is a predominantly a Christian region look at the last voting pattern the voters there careless of who represent them they are hardworking people that careless who lead them from the councillor level to the governor they survive on their own The Yoruba nation is the most tolerant in whole of the world when it comes to religion you can not play on their intelligence when it comes to religion they vote based on personal conviction Having said all this an average northerner is a born politician they care about who rule them also the population in the north is very high where you see a teacher with 4 wives 45 children . With all this I can confidently tell you that they will continue to rule Nigeria or who ever they support rules |

It's a pity that though they continue the rule, the children of the elites marry at full age of over 25 while they will advance Sharia for the poor. But one day, this country will break either by crook or hook. Its a matter of time. 1 Like |
