Longest I ve stayed = 6months (d car is over 20years nw and a daily drive guess nt too bad sometimes I wonder hw it will b if brand-new)

7 months now without visiting a Mechanic. Just the usual servicing at Total.

Corollas are damn good . Buy a good one and you don't need to worry. Hehe

Surely I remember going for 6-7 months without visiting a mechanic!! I think the year of manufacture of your car matters too. I mean like a 1975 model can't be same as a 2003 models!

4 months now on my EOD 05 and still counting...

11 months. One month more to yearly service schedule and general maintenance.
NB: Vehicle is presently driving problem - free(no squeaks, bangs or knocks)!!!!

Hmm.. not considering routine maintenance, my most recent wahala was last June- bad AC compressor attributed to bad pulley which was changed...I kinda regret not changing the entire compressor unit though, as the AC has started blowing hot air now.

Oh, my ride is a 2003 Ford Focus Wagon.

You are right on Toyotas, 6 years and 80,000 km after..... my Corolla has only been repaired once, after an extremely bad fuel experience like 4 years back. Not a pin changed on the suspension even with the bad roads, should mention though, its basically driven by me and wifey, so no driver abuse. I also pay the extra to have my scheduled service at good garages.

Have a younger Hyundai, also done well but something creeps up in the suspension every 6-9 months. Nothing major but still disappointing for an SUV.

Even though I don't have a car yet, i quite concur to your stance concerning corrolla. been opportune to drive them especially 05 sport edition.. fantastico!!!

My wife's RAV4 last visited the mechanic 7months ago for normal service (it just indicated maintenance required last week) but my Corolla is 12months running without seeing a mechanic and it is in daily use... I haven't even done normal service for 12 months.

4 months and counting

I have driven close to 8 moths have not visited mechanic apart from normal monthly oil change
