Janix2: Depending on when you started spotting, Implantation of fertilized egg can cause spotting. According to Experts, implantation occurs a week after ovulation. There could be other reasons for the spotting But when an egg is fertilized it takes about a week to implant on the uterine wall, some women spot, some don't. Low progesterone level can cause unsustained or failed implantation which will eventually result in menstruation. Check your progesterone level after ovulation to be sure it's normal. Low progesterone is mostly the cause of early miscarriage. But then menstruation shouldn't discourage you cos I know a few women who had their period throughout pregnancy. There's nothing GOD cannot do, jst believe. 1 Like |

Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by Fvine: 6:56am On Apr 15, 2016 |
Janix2:When did the spotting start and for how long did the spotting last? Brown spotting is usually nothing to worry about. Red spotting is what gives concerns. If spotting is a few hours, same day or even a day before the period starts, then I think it would just be the period trying to break out and shed. Spotting a few days before period starts is commonly caused by Low Progesterone. Other factors are Physiological changes in the body due to stress, anxiety etc, hormonal drugs like birth control, Pregnancy, New IUD, Implantation (usually lasts for a day), Impaired Egg Quality, Short Luteal Phase, Thyroid issues. 2 Likes |

Good morning mamas, hope we all slept well and sound. I just want to leave us with these words of encouragement a friend sent to me. Even though the popcorn are all put in the same pot at the same time, in the same oil under the same fire, they don't all pop at the same time. Each has its own time, TTC is frustrating but lets not get discouraged, our time will come and we will all move to the pregnancy thread one after the other. @ mama Fvine and Diamond, you both are on point with low progesterone causing spotting before af, I have been experiencing it too. But after my last AF I started taking b6, and although af is due today am yet to see any spotting or sharp pain like I have been experiencing for the past 4 months. 7 Likes |

I like to see d response on this b6 thingy @convenantbabies. I used to take after ovulation so it won't disturb ovulation. Then I saw all through cyclefor people with high prolactin and I was confused. I still have my 50mg which I take, cant say about d 100mg. @fruitfulwoman For progesterone issue, I think it's a continuous thing, except all your hormones are balanced else u need to keep helping your body till conception and even in conception till 12 weeks. Learnt b6 also helps with PMS and severe symptoms during early weeks. 2 Likes |

Josh121: Congratulations dear. Our Love to wifey. So happy for your family. She would carry to term n deliver like the Hebrew women in Jesus name. Amen @All, who noticed that so many testimony happens after hsg? I think if someone abstains from xex for a while, the body would tend to close up, especially the vj. The person may not b as tight as a virgin again but d first penetration would be tighter as d body would be opening. What am trying to say is, if u haven't done hsg, try n do it, hsg opens everywhere Even without blockage, it just allows the egg n sperm to move freely in d body. Instead of them trying hard to force them selves to meet or move. Mama's taking ovulation inducing drugs too, please do Hsg first, most tubal pregnancy is as a result of triggering o without knowing the status of the tubes. So the egg may not have strength to part the tubes when going to the uterus n just stay where it sees. God would crown all our efforts with success in Jesus name. 11 Likes |

From my little understanding vit B6 helps to lengthen luteal phase and also increases progesterone production. I started taking 50mg immediately after my last Af. I think it should be taken all through the cycle but can also be paused as soon as AF comes out. As for the sharp pain I never used to experience such nor the spotting, started 3 months post surgery, was concerned if all was ok, did hsg to ensure that tubal blockage or cervical adhesion is ruled out. Doctor advised I take paracetamol whenever the pain comes. But surprisingly no pms, spotting or sharp pains yet so I want to believe the b6 is doing something. 2 Likes |
