Here is the part 3 as requested, please continue posting your Q&As here, Part 2 is now 468 pages and too long to read through for many.

Part 2 is here for reference purposes: https://www.nairaland.com/2098236/general-german-visa-enquiries-part

I really have to thank those who stayed back to help even after getting their visas and despite their busy study and work programs in Germany.

I also have to thank those who shared their experiences right from visa journey to life in Germany as foreign students.

For newbies your German school search starts here https://www.daad.de/deutschland/studienangebote/en/

Thank you.

Please house, about the documents to be submitted at the embassy, do I have to attached all together and staple them or staple and arrange differently alongside the copies requested?

Then, do I have to go with health travel insurance (because a question about it was asked on the application form) or wait till after the interview?

Please note that I am applying for a research visa and not student's.

Thanks!

Thank you.

Please add study-in.de and masterportal links to the first post. These websites, with daad.de (and uni-assist for some) gives you enough GENERAL information to start your application process immediately. THEN the part 2 of this series of threads has detailed naija specific information for applicants to successfully get admission and visa.

I'll also advise newbies to browse this series of threads and find posts from exactly one year ago and six months ago before asking questions. This will get anyone better acquainted with what should be done and how best to get it done.

I think these might help us all get optimum benefits from these series of threads. The first post determines the next step a newcomer is likely to take.

Thank you all

Wow... Congrats Hampy.

Share with us please. How was it all sorted out? What advice do you have for students admitted to schools in Berlin? Are you resuming in the summer semester or your admission was deferred to next winter?

First of all i wanna thank you all for your good works here...God bless.

Please i want to know the current estimated expenses for my travel to Germany. i wanna study computer sc. there at any of the university offering courses in English for free.

A neighbor of mine is using an AGENT and he said he paid a total of N1.2M for visa processing & flight (For all travel expenses). I really don't like these agents stuff cause i know they are looking for their own share or lets say commission.

please, my ogas at the top here, throw more light for your boy.

Don't staple them together. Arrange them into 3 different files. One should be the original documents and the other two will be ur photocopies.

Health Insurance is only needed when ur visa is approved.
