You are an hypocrite, u didn't write these rubbish when we are suffering and still suffering from acute power shortage never before witnessed in the so-called 16 years of corrupt govt yet even without light, I now pay double of what I used to pay.

Over two months now, no fuel. There's increased hardship in the land, high cost of goods, jobs losses, and so many negative things happening with no solution by the govt in power but u don't call for protest.

U guys are something else, wonder why i'm in the same country with u

You do not know me so let us not assume here. But I am evolving from sheep that once ate grass to sheep that now wants blood.
As to why you are in this country with me it is a spiritual thing, we all deserve to be in this country, but that is my opinion.

You do not also know me. Are you feigning ignorance of the rudderless, vindictive nature of this present administration that has completely lost or confused about the direction of our economic projectile? Are you saying there's no increased suffering in the land with no one attending to it? And yet your President travels every now and then collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars for inconvenience and hardship allowance each trip.

So u no fit call for protest about that abi? I didn't support GEJ, I was thinking this administration would be better but I was wrong.
I dey vex, abeg no mention me again

Very interesting, do not derail my thread though. You are free to voice your disdain for this government in another forum or thread where it has been titled as "voice your disain etc".
It is people like you that show your shallow mentality, no matter how educated you are you have to try to as much as possible to lead by example. This thread is what it is, titled accordingly and the subject goes with the title. Whether or not I want to start a protest now or in the future is none of your business, or you can make it your business. "Increased suffering in the land,,,no one attending it", what are you on? I am aware of what is happening mind you. What is your problem if it is now that I am just finding my voice, I am not ashamed because before I found my voice I have been on the right path. You on the other hand you are not even contributing to the topic so you and your thoughts are irrelevant. If you want me to school you on what I know, I do not know a lot, I would tell you that despite witnessing this and that for many years one can suddenly arouse from ones slumber when the moment is right. To me this particular situation is developing and maturing many that will lead the country the right way because this particular environment is perfect.

But I have an idea of what you are saying though.

Go ahead and vex. I need the support of others.
why are you answering that frustrated wretched miscreant, I guess the present govt is the reason for his failure in life

Sorry, but no hardworking bustling Nigerian can spare any minute of his stressful day to go under the hot sun and lead a meaningless, futile campaign sponsored by inconsiderate opportunistic selfish top shots. We have been there, done that and gained nothing so far. Let the President handle the fuel scarcity, ensure stable power and provide clean water, and then we will join him in leading a revolt against the Senate, till the morning comes. We are tired of putting the cart before the horse

No not at all, perks come with the office I get that. But vehicles every year for public servants that fail to provide the needed attention on our roads? I mean they are quick to make decisions to buy the latest 2016 SUV editions, but there are no quick decisions on constructing and maintaining our road network system.

Thats why I say bring the facts and lets take our message, the message of the people, to them.

What facts are you talking about here? Who told you they buy vehicles for themselves every single year?? And what's wrong if they bought the latest SUV.

Please read the subject of the thread before engaging with me. I am looking for the facts that tie down SUV procurement by our public servants and not some hearsay repeated endlessly by word of mouth.

No one told me.

Nothing is wrong with it.

So what's your point exactly? So because I'm a public servant therefore I should not buy luxury vehicle?

You are right no need to be sorry because it is true although I am sorry for you and us. There are many good reasons not to protest. But this is where I believe we are different, at the end of the day it is all about stages of development. If one feels that they are not ready to sacrifice for others then maybe sometime later in life they will be able to, it is my prayer that we all reach this stage quickly. Your "hardwork" is in vain if this present situation continues don't you think? How long will you go with the mentality that I must secure for myself first and yet also go around preaching "seek ye first". You work so hard, pay for fuel, waste fuel in traffic because our public servants do not plan and maintain our road system.

It is hard to think outside the box I know, you are in your place of work and you are thinking how can I make a difference after being tied down to this and that? Then get the people at your work involved, if possible now is the time, the conditions are right. Everyone is more educated on the Nigerian situation. Spending a whole day in the hot sun without a plan is not my idea of a peaceful protest? I have a plan and I believe it will work, there is no way they would not hear us with my plan in mind. In fact I am convinced that once we go with the facts they would scrape their plan and use the money for something more productive. Any president needs the help of the masses he cannot do it all, if we let him and his team work on those essentials like you say I am sorry but our public servants would be buying 2017 and 2018 SUV versions in the meantime. I can only try to play my part, the making of a great nation is in its people struggling the right way and not depending entirely on one person, we have to struggle against base elements. You are the horse and Nigeria is the cart, and there are some elements sitting on top of the cart. Again I do not know a lot but this is my opinion.
Well, the President does not inspire in us the need to fight and stand with him
He is more interested in criticizing and scolding us on our values and loyalty. No leader fights his people and then galvanizes them to fight for him. The ball is in his court. No improvement, no protest.

You should buy them with your own money.Nigerians are getting more educated and wiser by the day.British MPs don't get luxury vehicles at the expense of the taxpayers so why should these immoral thieving self inflated nonentities called our senators do.Nigerians should be ready to reject all nonsense in their lives. If we should begin to reject all nonsense in our lives then we will end up rejecting nigeria in the process. Why because nigeria is a good as nonsense. The O.P, in my opinion, is nothing but a hypocrite and I want to believe you are too. If nigeria had a million more people like you and the O.P then we are doomed! People have raised a better reason why we should come out to protest and you and the O.P turned a blind eye. Please stop this your hypocrisy.

You are failing to understand something important. The Nigerians that voted Buhari in knew all along the road would be difficult and arduous and are prepared to give Buhari time to sort things out, that is why people are bearing with him.Hope is the reason why they are not in the streets protesting. They hope he will point Nigeria to the right way with a firm foundation. Of course there are upsidedown thinking Nigerians who will try to frustrate him and incite people against him.The sinators are car grabbing thieves working against the nation

Who told you that the nigerians who voted buhari knew all along that the road will be difficult?? The reason why you guys are not out in the streeet protesting is because you are too ashamed to accept the reality. Period! We have better and pressing issues to protest about not luxury SUVs.
