I pulled out these codes
P0716 Input/turbine speed sensor A Circuit Range
P0325 Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Bank 1
P2229 Barometric Pressure Sensor
P0135 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1
P0498 Evaporative Emission System Vent Valve..
P2185 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor.

Cleared all codes and car moves all right. But I feel everything isn't alright. Should I replace any other sensor.??

@gazzuz @luvinhubby and all other experts in the world. Come to my rescue please as my account is going into negative.

My car still isn't shifting properly especially when am about to go into motion. Highway drive shift smooth but when I slow down and want to accelerate. It fails to move into the next gear and just revs until I pull to N and back to D (not all the time).

I noticed one evening my car revs close to 4000rpm and my power steering reservoir was bubbling oil and overflowing and steering stiff. Checked the trans oil and it was completely dry. My mech confirmed there was a leakage through the trans cooler hose and also advised I change the inner cup/upper arm which he said contributed to gear oil leakages and was the cause of the slippage.

Did a complete oil change and got the hose replaced aswell with other parts mentioned. Did a scan, the P0716 input/turbine speed sensor code disappeared but the rest remains and issue persist(still failing to shift to next gear when am accelerating)

Please assist, all the mechs I have met so far seem to be clueless. Any recommendation in Abuja will be highly appreciated. 2008 Honda Accord

steering leak, usual culprits are pressure pipe, or steering rack. You need to sit car on a pit to know which (or both sad)

Transmission issues: check oil level, scan for errors is it a 4cylinder or a v6?

this is URGENT

This is the situation of the Car:
The Car is Automatic Gear, Nissan Almera, 1998 - 2000 model.
The Car can drive well in forward gears but put it into reverse, Mbanuu. It will just be raising and not moving at all in reverse.

Gear Oil and other likely problems have been checked and ruled out. What else can l do.

Please MASTERS in the house, what could be the problem?

Can anyone give me an idea of what the problem is?
What needs to be repaired and likely cost of this repair?
Even somewhere trustworthy that it can be taken to for repair.

I thank una for advance.

location is? Check gear lever and cable. Ensure vehicle enters reverse.

@Gazzuzz:

I dont understand, what do you mean by 'check gear lever'? What do l check in the stick (apparently it is just used to shift backward or forward).
be specific now or are you just taking a piss?

Since it engages in all forward gears, (using the same gear cable, l assume that means the cable cant be cut), what should l check in the Cable?

It is only the Reverse gear that does not engage. What can make the Forward gears to be okay while reverse gear does not engage?

Please explain more so l can understand what you are saying.

Thanks for responding.

Possible culprit:

**Dirty/ faulty idle air control valve AND/OR dirty throttle body.

Have a sensible 'mecho' remove these, clean thoroughly and do an idle relearn procedure.

Cheers!

Lol @ "..b4 this car will send me back to my village". Car problems can really be disturbing.

The flashing check engine light should be a sign that one or more of your engine's cylinders are misfiring. And since what you've done has ruled out an ignition problem then you might have a compression problem.

The compression problem might be as a result of worn piston ring, leaking valves or cylinders etc
