ohakskid:from the knowledge i have gathered so far on this thread. certified translations are only required of applicants whose documents are in languages other than english, german and french as required by the admission office....other than that what you need do is to have the photocopies of your docs certified either by the german embassy or a notary public and the high court is another option. or else your cert is in igbo my thots tho 1 Like 2 Shares |

ohakskid:If all your certificates are issued in English language, there is no need for translation. I did certified translation, but that was because my B.Sc certificate was issued in Russian language. |

acedboss: Yes I did Boss. Thank you for reaching out. I actually have certified all of my documents. My issue basically is (a) I earlier applied only to a school and got reject; Now I want to apply to any other school that still have the admission for Winter on before it's closed. I hope it's not too late (b) I don't want to have to send hard copy documents again with another 12k until I'm quite sure the admission is secured. I'd prefer schools with online application before final sending of hard copies. Do you know any that fall into this category?? Danke Bruder! |

thefacelessguy:Bro, you can send via Nipost at very cheap rates; they're now reliable. The most expensive per package for me was N350. 1 Like |

@BlessedSamson: Congrats. For your travel Health insurance, try IGI @ Plot 741, Adeola Hopewell Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. Ask of Mr. Seun. He will sort you out for about #18,500. Thats probably one of the cheapest around. The place is not far from the German embassy. I advice you go to IGI first, then take a Keke Marwa back to the embassy. As for the courier envelope, you can get that inside the embassy. You will see FedEx just around the business centre area. Price varies from #1,500 depending on your contact address. Also add an A4 sized brown envelope to your courier envelope. Just insert it. Don't forget to go along with the print-out of the mail sent to you. 5 Likes |

Nipost has done something terrible. This shd not be generalised tho. I sent a registered mail to uniassist on on the 29th of March and it got into the awesome BAG on April 1. Well today uniassist emails n says - "empty envelope. We recieved ur package as an empty envelope and the German post also said they recieved it as an empty envelope ". Almost a month after sending a parcel that was supposed to be delivered in 10days. Mehn may God help the Nigerian system. Thats all I can say. Pls if ur deadline is close try some other means. One of my applications deadline is May 1. |

Pls ooo, my e-family, on the mail I got to come for my visa, it was stated that "my departure should be scheduled at least 7 days from the posting of my envelope". pls I don't seem to understand that. also I really need the cheapest flight I can get, on wakanow.com " emirates" and "Turkish airline" seem to be the cheapest, which one is preferable and am I to book at the airport. and pls any other info as regards booking air ticket is highly welcomed. What if after getting my visa,i postpone the day I want to travel, what will happen? what will they ask me at the airport?...is there any interview at the embassy for collection of visa? pls any other advice that will be needed is highly welcome. want to go collect the insurance document tommorow. I wish my other colleagues in the house success. 2 Likes |

I submitted three Applications on Uni assist online, and they sent me a message, charging me for only €90 instead of €105. When I logged in on dere portal, I saw one application with €0 on it..anybody have idea about this? |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Nobody: 9:47pm On Apr 21, 2016 |
jaybmich:1. Error from their website 2. There re some schools that pay the uniassist fees for the applicants. So if the sch is one of them, that shd explain it. For the error part, my friend had to applications submitted n paid 90euros, they sent him confirmation an d a balance of 3euros to be paid by him. After some emails, they corrected it. So u can mail them to ask. |

UncleJudax:That was rather insensitive, immature, ruthless and tacky of you. The guy feels bad already. Why would you conclude that this happened to him because he has ill luck. Why would you even attach something that involves error-vulnerable human processes to luck. Mistakes like this one happen occasionally and could fall on anyone. You think it cant happen to you? Do some growing up! 4 Likes |
