Haha! Spurs have squandered their little chance of winning the title. Leicester is officially the champion! 1 Like |

That's it... One more win and Leicester City FC are EPL Champs. I remember vividly saying here that they will finish above UTD (with LVG in charge) on the table. of course, it don't matter, I am only but a "deluded agbaya"! |

Kagawa10: its amazing how you feel herrera and Mata are useless for the team. Herrera that came in to give an assist, an important assist for that matter. guy abeg chill and stop exposing your very ridiculous bias against Herrera. it is stale. we deserve more from him but the way you are talking is as if he has not done anything meaningful since he joined United, and to think you rate Fellaini a better option in our midfield is just unbelievable. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by chrisley024(m): 9:58pm On Apr 25, 2016 |
Leicester need only 3 points in their remaining 3 games to be crowned the champion. They should just allow us take the 3 points at OT and get theirs from Everton. And some where singing Poch! Poch! Nonsense! |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by chrisley024(m): 10:01pm On Apr 25, 2016 |
adeyemi2015:They can still lose at OT(my wish), win against Everton and be crowned. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Kagawa10: 10:01pm On Apr 25, 2016 |
chrisley024:I admit that Lingard's finishing hasn't been good but he did well with his movement to create those chances in the first place. Also, it was Martial that started the move for his winning goal in the first place. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Kagawa10: 10:04pm On Apr 25, 2016 |
codedguy1:I don't rate Fellaini nor Herrera so you know. Both shouldn't be starting for us and the fact that we have either one of them as first-choice for our central midfield role speak volume already and the reason we are struggling. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Nobody: 10:05pm On Apr 25, 2016 |
Spurs drew. Meaning Leicester only ve to win us on Sunday to win the league. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Kagawa10: 10:07pm On Apr 25, 2016 |
AdeLaNa1:Thank God! Although Leicester would have to look for another ground to win their title though, definitely not on our soil. |

The CIES, an independent football study centre in Switzerland, ranked Bayern Munich’s Manuel Neuer the most impressive keeper in the top five leagues based on six key indicators: goals conceded per math, number of minutes per goal conceded, number of passes per match, number of saves per match, number of saves per goal conceded and percentage of saves. Bayern Munich’s Manuel Neuer topped the charts, with Atletico Madrid stopper Jan Oblak second, Juventus legend Gianluigi Buffon in third and Paris Saint-Germain’s Kevin Trapp lying fourth. Lloris is the only English top-flight keeper to make the top ten – he saved 73.9 per cent of shots (Neuer had a 78.8 per cent save percentage) – with no place for Manchester United star David de Gea, who was named in the PFA team of the year, and Arsenal’s Petr Cech. CIES best-performing goalkeepers Manuel Neuer – Bayern Munich Jan Oblak – Atletico Madrid Gianluigi Buffon – Juventus Kevin Trapp – Paris Saint-Germain Claudio Bravo – Barcelona Victor Enyeama – Lille Hugo Lloris – Tottenham Hotspur Alphonse Areola – Villarreal Keylor Navas – Real Madrid Pepe Reina – Napoli |

SailorXY:Martial started the move with his one-two and then runs through the middle. The goal was all on Martial. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by GBR1(m): 10:45pm On Apr 25, 2016 |
You shouldn't take every ranking so serious. The same Lloris who just conceded a silly goal due to his error almost simultaneously costing Spurs the title. The same Lloris that couldn't even make it to the team of the year in his own league even with those clean sheets. Athletico's keeper Oblak has more clean sheets and conceded less goals than Navas, Madrid's shot stopper. Can one say he's been better than Navas this season? There's really no debate here. |

chrisley024:How many summer splash has been done under Van gaal? Apart from Martial and maybe Depay, I don't know which one you are talking about! I think you people keep forgetting that Di Maria is no more at UtD and the likes of Herrera and Shaw weren't Van gaal signings! |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Kagawa10: 10:55pm On Apr 25, 2016 |
GBR1:I think Ramdeuter keeps forgetting that clean sheet depends mostly on the defence infront of the keeper. With Blind's rookie display in the defence in the first half of the season before his acclimatisation and with Smalling dropping off in the second half of the season, not to mention the average joe like Darmian and Rojo completing the defence, you would hardly expect De Gea to constantly keep clean sheet. De gea has been great this season and you just have to give it to him. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by olabode89(m): 10:56pm On Apr 25, 2016 |
raumdeuter: You don come with jeku jeko report again! De gea has 14 cleansheets in the EPL alone as shown below, plus i don't need some skewed stats to tell me that De gea is far better than Lloris. Palace Home Villa Home Everton Home City Away City Home Stoke Home Liverpool Away Chelsea Home Westham Home Everton Away Sunderland Home Palace Away Westbrom Home Watford Home |

Kagawa10:He has had 4 transfer windows and brought in more than 10 players, so how many more players/transfer windows does he need? Must he spend 25mil+ on a player before we can say he has spent. Morgan cost 20mil+, so add it and stop this your claim of 'some players not being his signings' cos he sanctioned the transfers. You must be Mrs LvG in disguise 4 Likes |

Kagawa10: August 2015 to December 2015 29 matches 15 clean sheets..... 51% January 2016 till date 20 matches 6 clean sheets..... 30% So how is that the fault of Blind from the first half of the season? The injury that affected the team at the midpoint of the season was the major issue with our defence and not Blind. Bros free Blind. Smalling has made more goal causing errors/plays than Blind this season. Because Blind is not 6' 4 or 6' 5 tall or built like DAF truck does not mean he can't play as a CB. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Kagawa10: 11:09pm On Apr 25, 2016 |
chrisley024:Sanctioned which signing when it's already done and dusted. As a matter of fact, Herrera already signed with manutd in the previous season while he was still at Bilbao and the main reason both clubs were at logger head that season. Have you forgotten how players who wants to move away from Bilbao do their thing? They first signed with the interested club and afterwards, pay Bilbao their signing fees. Remember the case of Javi Martinez? That said, if you're going to accuse Lvg on signing decent-average players like Blind, Rojo, Darmian etc, then Arsene Wenger should have no business in the game for signing Denilson, Chamakh, Walcott, Merterscker, Gabriel etc. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Kagawa10: 11:12pm On Apr 25, 2016 |
olabode89:Blind has been terrific and I'm not disputing it but the truth is, at the start of the season, his inexperience showed in the centrebck role and Smalling had to bail him out in many occasion. Also, I would attribute our solid defence at the start of the season to Shaw marshalling the left side instead of the inept Rojo. |

GBR1: I didn't include the ones kept by Romero (EPL games) Spurs H Villa A Newcastle H .................. the clean sheet rate was for the team in general all through the season. |

Hissexcellencie:Personally, I would love Lassana Diarra to be signed as Carrick replacement. He's been terrific for Marseille this season and he got the agility that Carrick and Blind lacks in the holding midfield role. He's not back into France national squad for no reason. The team could use him untill Dortmund's Weigl becomes available or the young Regan Poole stake his claim for the role. The other player I would love is Kante. People may view him as this all action defensive box-box midfielder but the truth is he's is the one that often start majority of Leicester's attack in the midfield with his probing penetrative passes and throughballs. As a matter of fact, Kante is Leicester's maestro. His ball ability and control in tightt place are also fantastic and since Rooney isn't going anywhere soon. A 3man midfield of Diarra - Kante - Rooney won't be that bad. While either of the likes of Perreira, Harrop and Januzaj continue to stake their claim on Rooney position. Lastly, a fantastic pacy winger for the right wing and the one I have in mind is Dembele. Aprt from his pace, what I love is his two-footedness which add to his unpredictability while dribbling from the wing. He's also highly technical, speedy and creative. I don't think the team need another striker. The likes of Rashford, Rooney, Martial and even Depay are capable of scoring goals as long they are provided with chances and what has been lacking in the team is creativity and not scorers. |
