When u see a ranking that puts Trapp, Areola and Reina(of all GKs) in the top 10 keepers in Europe, then why bother??

Kagawa10:

Sanctioned which signing when it's already done and dusted.
As a matter of fact, Herrera already signed with manutd in the previous season while he was still at Bilbao and the main reason both clubs were at logger head that season.

You are a pathological liar!!

As at June 2014, Athletic Bilbao had this on their website...

Athletic Bilbao:

Athletic want to announce that they have this week rejected an offer from Manchester United, of around 36million euros (£28.85million), for the transfer of the economic and federative rights of the player Ander Herrera."

Stop distorting the facts to suit your rètarded opinions..

Kagawa10:

That said, if you're going to accuse Lvg on signing decent-average players like Blind, Rojo, Darmian etc, then Arsene Wenger should have no business in the game for signing Denilson, Chamakh, Walcott, Merterscker, Gabriel etc.

Another Ìdiotic statement bereft of logic and deductive reasoning...

A manager was given the free-hand to buy players that would fit into his so-called "philosophy". As we speak, majority of his signings are yet to click, the team has looked outta sorts for extended periods and the club is nowhere near the level of success commensurate with the huge investments thus far.

If a manager doesn't take responsibility for his signings, who ought to??

Before we bought Di Maria, this was what LVG had to say...

Van Gaal:

We don't have wingers of the highest level, like Ronaldo or Di Maria or somebody like that. So, I have to play another way - and you have seen that already. I only buy when I think we need to buy - the position that is necessary.

We bought Di Maria yet your Dutch god persisted with some dumb formation that clearly wasnt working...costing us points and breaking all sorts of negative records but ofcourse, it was David Gill's fault!

When pressed on the issue of signing Dutch players (Blind), he had this to say..

Van Gaal:

If they are at the level I want them to be, i will sign Dutch players

But ofcourse, it isn't the manager's fault!!

Moyes was behind LVG's refusal to strengthen the CF position, despite offloading chicharito and RVP at once.

I also remember the role of Carlos Queiroz in LVG's decision to play Young at full-back, even when the winger was clearly our greatest threat from an attacking P.O.V!!

It was also Fergie's fault that a Fellaini who cannot even pass the ball over 5yards kept on starting for us in CMF... even at the expense of natural midfielders like Schnederlain and Herrera!

Christ - we fúcking crashed outta a CL group that had Wolfsburg, Cska and PSV and you are here spewing jargons!! Oh..my bad - UEFA was at fault for putting us in a "group of death"

Kagawa10, it's actually our fault that we are even replying your dúmb posts.

I am telling you Rojo will be the next darling of UTD fans - quote me on this any day. He is the sort of player that can raise the temperature of an arena with one crunching tackle . He is not short on confidence and by the time he gets familiar with this new environment, we will see how he will make his 'larger than life' presence felt. I foresee that young man taking over from where Vidic stopped; he will be made captain!

Yeah, I know its only Rojo (a largely unknown quantity) but I think we've found our man

Kagawa10:

Personally, I would love Lassana Diarra to be signed as Carrick replacement. He's been terrific for Marseille this season and he got the agility that Carrick and Blind lacks in the holding midfield role. He's not back into France national squad for no reason. The team could use him untill Dortmund's Weigl becomes available or the young Regan Poole stake his claim for the role.
The other player I would love is Kante. People may view him as this all action defensive box-box midfielder but the truth is he's is the one that often start majority of Leicester's attack in the midfield with his probing penetrative passes and throughballs. As a matter of fact, Kante is Leicester's maestro. His ball ability and control in tightt place are also fantastic and since Rooney isn't going anywhere soon. A 3man midfield of Diarra - Kante - Rooney won't be that bad. While either of the likes of Perreira, Harrop and Januzaj continue to stake their claim on Rooney position.
Lastly, a fantastic pacy winger for the right wing and the one I have in mind is Dembele. Aprt from his pace, what I love is his two-footedness which add to his unpredictability while dribbling from the wing. He's also highly technical, speedy and creative.
I don't think the team need another striker. The likes of Rashford, Rooney, Martial and even Depay are capable of scoring goals as long they are provided with chances and what has been lacking in the team is creativity and not scorers.
Well said. But we need to sell to buy especially if we are getting more than 2players and if its over 40m, the book GATS balance naw. Na bizness remember? So who reakistically would you sell to get your men?
Also I would hold on on kante as we have only seen him for a season, he may bottle it at a bigger club with more media scrutiny, but payet for the flank isn't bad, even dries mertens of Napoli. They have been good for seasons. Just suggestions tho

Lloris has kept 13 clean sheets so far this season and the CIES, an independent football study centre in Switzerland, ranked him as the seventh best performing keeper in Europe this season.

The CIES, an independent football study centre in Switzerland, ranked Bayern Munich’s Manuel Neuer the most impressive keeper in the top five leagues based on six key indicators: goals conceded per math, number of minutes per goal conceded, number of passes per match, number of saves per match, number of saves per goal conceded and percentage of saves.
Bayern Munich’s Manuel Neuer topped the charts, with Atletico Madrid stopper Jan Oblak second, Juventus legend Gianluigi Buffon in third and Paris Saint-Germain’s Kevin Trapp lying fourth.
Lloris is the only English top-flight keeper to make the top ten – he saved 73.9 per cent of shots (Neuer had a 78.8 per cent save percentage) – with no place for Manchester United star David de Gea, who was named in the PFA team of the year, and Arsenal’s Petr Cech.

CIES best-performing goalkeepers
Manuel Neuer – Bayern Munich
Jan Oblak – Atletico Madrid
Gianluigi Buffon – Juventus
Kevin Trapp – Paris Saint-Germain
Claudio Bravo – Barcelona
Victor Enyeama – Lille
Hugo Lloris – Tottenham Hotspur
Alphonse Areola – Villarreal
Keylor Navas – Real Madrid
Pepe Reina – Napoli

Ram-the-third never fails to disappoint! Amugbo CIES? (Charlatan Institute of Elaborate Stupidity )..
Lloris that couldn't even displace De Gea in his own league TOTY ?..same Lloris?

All that nonsense he copy pasted there doesn't change nothing. David is the best GK in world. When there are some trophies to show for his efforts all the blasphemous scripts called ranking will naturally find themselves in the bin.

Can you now see when I say eediots like you are too brain-dead to comprehend simple statement!
I said Herrera already signed a contract with us before having his signing fees accepted in the next season and that was why I mentioned the case of Javi Matinez who paid his signing clause fees to Bilbao by himself after first singing with Bayern. Were you living in a cave then when this happened? It won't be a surprise though 'cos you have cave men mentality! What a bush man!
You are really a fool and that's an understatement.
Also, I don't see when it become wrong for a manager taking a punt on players with little signing fees. The coach get it right at times or even wrong, Wenger is actually an expert in the area and fools like you can't say he's bad coach as a result of that. Even Bayern did it with Mandzuk, Boateng, Klose, shaqiri etc.
You know what, you're just a retard and I don't know why an imbeeecile like you keeps quoting me. What are the kind of imbecileeee Parent keeps breeding this day because they are just so many on this forum!
I repeat losers that can't comprehend my post should stop quoting my post! It's too comprehensive and complex for your dead brain cells!

if rooney had decided not to pass to martial there was no way martial was gonna do any one-two with rashford and subsequently passed to hererra. so we can as well say without rooney's pass, the goal wouldnt have happened too grin

All the players stealing wages like Fellaini, Herrera, Mata Rojo, Young should be first out of the pictures. Likewise Carrick who will be out of contract at the end of the season.
That's enough dead wood cleared out already.
Also, Kante isn't a one off. He was one of the best midfielder with the highest tackles and interception in the whole of euro top leagues while at a struggling Caen.
His on the ball ability was also quite good while at Caen. Now that his efforts becomes much more glaring with better team-mates like Leicester, he's only going to get better even more. He's the closest to Roy Keane that I have ever seen minus the cuntish attitude though and no wonder Fergie gushes over him.

The thing is if a player do all the hard work only for another to make a simple pass, I don't see the glory in it.
Just like a player making a simple pass for a scorer of 30yards goal would be credited with the assist or player making the pass before a mazy dribble that ended with a goal would be credited with the assist.
The truth is Martial started the move, Made the one-two with Herrera and runs through the middle while expecting the return pass, it would be criminal if Herrera had failed to the return the pass in the acres of space after he almost made a mess of it.

Your opinion though.
Although I don't want Lingard to be the first choice winger for our team but I would have Lingard in the team over that useless Herrera.
Why don't you tell us how many goals and assists Herrera had at Bilbao while playing in the CAM role?
Herrera and that sluggish Mata ought to be plying their trade at Sunderland like Adam Johnson did.
You are so ignorant, it's annoying.

How many assists and goals did Iniesta, an all out attacking MF rack up even in his best years? sad<
How many goals and assist does Modric have this season?

Not every midfielder will be a Lampard or Scholes.

I'm certain Herrera is above average, but has been messed up by LVG's system.

He's distributes the ball quicker than any MF we have, has better tackling ability than most and you still call him thrash.

He's the best Midfielder we have, it's just a pity most can see it.

I know players like your magical Carrick would have jogged behind that got instead of fouling him and getting a card instead.

Play Herrera, Mata and Schneiderlin together consistently and see that we aren't as fuckedd as the idioot LVG thinks.

We did that against Watford and to say the display was pathetic is an understatement!
The only time the team consisting the aforementioned players did well was against a midgetlland and a lazy Arsenal teaam and it was done with Carrick building up the play and transitioning the play from the defence to attack right from the central-back role like Bekenbauer often does.
It's no wonder the team looked pathetic as soon s he was rested for the Watford game.
And before eediots comes up with their low cognitive reasoning to imply that I stated Carrick is Just as good as Beckenbauer, I never stated such but his contribution were significant in the aforementioned games.
Also, Iniesta is a CM! The season he played as an inverted playmaker on the wing to accommodate Fabregas in the central midfield, he had one of the highest assist in the whole of europe.

He's often injured! I even forgot to add jones!
Both are sicknotes nd should be shipped out for better squad players that would come in and make a contribution.
Better still, we have Lingard for that and all he needed is to sort out his finishing issues which I can attribute to nerves as he was quite good with his finishing while on loan in the championship and for the academy.

Yeah...
I really don't know what you're getting on with this Iniesta case and Barca fans ish.
This is player who plays s as a CM in a 3-man midfield and whose best performance for Barca hasn't been dependent on assists stats because he operates deep in the midfield as opposed to Herrera who looked useless in a CAM role for Bilbao and for us.
The season Iniesta operated in the attacking role, he had the highest assists in la liga.
That said, Carrick was much more significant in our win against Arsenal. He was acting as both centreback and a holding midfielder all at once and no one can dispute that Ramsey and Ozil were quite lazy to press us like Watford did. In fact, Arsenal has been doing quite fine once they dropped off the lethargic Ramsey.
