buharisbae:Anything either related or from the faculty of science or education. I applied for medicine in ABU but was given physiology because I didn't meet up with the cut off. I've seen people that applied medicine and were given courses like maths, statistics, chemistry, physiotherapy and so on. |

Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by yaqmoon56: 1:55pm On Apr 30, 2016 |
jnichole:Lol. My brother. Medical dictionary is, for now, none of your concern. Just consider yourself more like a typical SCIENTIST for the mean time, until you find yourself in 200L. Although, i'm not a medical student ( though used to be an aspirant of medicine but ended up with microbiology), however, I can tell, that fundamental science courses like chemistry, physics, biology alongside maths are courses 100L medical students take, amid other science students. Hence, don't bother yourself jacking some medical stuffs. Just focus on the post utme Past Questions of the institution. WISH YOU SUCCESS! 1 Like |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Doclight(m): 6:43pm On Apr 30, 2016 |
In 100L you have to equip yourself with strong knowledge in science courses, like; BIO101, 251, 102, 103, Phy, ICH, CSC, MAT etc. Because, if you fail a single course admist these you are automatically out of Medicine, you'd probably look for a course that can absorb you, eg. Zoology, Botany etc. Meanwhile, even the HODs of these department might find it difficult to absorb. In 100L in Unizik, Medical students are called "Pre-med", they are even yet to be medical students. . From 200L a person becomes a medical student and a pre-clinical student, meaning that, if you also fail to meet the pass marks for 200L, you can't enter 300L and so on. jnichole:A step at a time bro, goodluck!!! 1 Like |
