Please is there anyone applying to university of applied science Dortmund winter 2016, especially for Embedded_Systems_for_Mechatronics_MEng. Has the enrollment begun because the deadline is already stated july 15, but that one has to first carry out a Pre-check by sending certificates like Beng/Bsc, CV, academic records, recommendations if any, and English language certificate, all in one PDF-File. They would let you know whether or not to further apply officially for a university place. There is a pre-check form which has to be attached to these documents in the PDF, but first of all has to be filled directly on the computer, but up till now I can’t find the form.
Is it that the form isn’t out yet on the school portal, or am I’m the only one that is yet to find that Pre-Check form to be included.
then secondly, after finding the form, what's the best way to create a pdf containing all these required documents. I need responses please, Thanks

u can use camscanner application on ur android phone to put all ur doc in one pdf file

Find attached the form sent to me by the sch.
You can contact the sch also for clarification. I contacted the sch and the attached application form was sent to me. I was not qualify for the anticipated course after pre check. Ensure you attach the form together with your credentials. All the best.

Very funny at bolded but well said. When u have doubts regarding any info on a school's website, the best thing to do is to contact the admissions office, international office or student center. U can call them if email doesnt work. Get info from the source not mediums lol

Let me add something. Please be careful to ask about the language of a thing. Universitat Hohhenheim and Giessen didnt accept the Medium of instruction from me even though it was on their website.. They said they know Nigeria is an English speaking country but they only accept MOI from US, UK, Canada, Australia etc.


As for my brothers without enough grades who are interested in some particular courses but didnt meet up with the 2.5 minimum CGPA ( I had 2.86 which was a bit less than the 2.88 Nigerian CGPA). Try this.

I buzzed the program cordinators in Hohhenheim, Kassel and Fulda. I made sure i outlined my commitments and motivation for the course. Many other lies sha.

In the end, Hohhenheim resolved to accepting my (2.6 German grade under the condition that i bring a letter from the school stating that was among the top 50% graduant of my department which fortunately I was).

Kassel pitied me and accepted my application.

Gottingen told me they will accept it but ( they told me that applicants whose admission files are complete are ranked according to their CGPA, That is, if 200 apply and they need 100; the top 100 with highest Undergrad grade are admitted).

Your situation is a very tricky one.
Did you take any course on data structure and algorithm, intro to programming, and at least some programming language courses like pascal and the likes ? Without the aforementioned courses, sorry to say, your chances are very low.
That was why i said, it is easier if you had a computer science or maths background.
Yes i am a student in Bamberg and you should learn any development language before coming, it will ease your stay here.

This kind of your english is why some German schools still require Test of English certificate from Nigerians.

You may have to use sign language at the ministry of education.

there is an application form on the erm website download it now and fill it then attach it to ur uni assist account since you have already sent ur ducs with only uni assist app form. or you might be lucky and ur app will be forwarded without it.
