Why Is Enugu Attack Been Taken More Seriously Than Agatu by Fadekebisola(f): 6:01pm On May 03, 2016 |
Has anyone noticed the utmost seriousness given to Enugu attacks than agatu despite few persons been killed unlike agatu were hundreds were massacred... Even to the extent of sacking CP of police in Enugu and APC governors storming Enugu..... are some regions now more important than others? 7 Likes |

Carefully go through the news papers and social media. It is only news that have to do with the three major tribes in Nigeria that makes headlines then you will see Public figures from these major ethnic groups making a lot of hulla baloo about the matter. The rest of the tribes are an absolute minority.A state like plateau has suffered this fulani attacks for many years but as you know minority tribes dominate the state so nothing will happen. It is sad benue is feeling th pain now... 21 Likes 2 Shares |

As an Igbo man I would say. . I agree with you that no man's life is worth more than the other. However, If your leaders have failed to take the necessary steps to stress your point and make known the plight of your people, then you should blame then not us. Nobody will take pain killers to soothe another man's pains. 57 Likes |

Fadekebisola: I share your sentiments. It's very unfortunate that in Nigeria we attach importance to life (and basically everything) only when it affects the mighty. I observed the Enugu incidence and the seriousness attached to it, just because the Igbos threatened retaliation and blew everything outta proportion. Whereas the Agatu people who are helpless nobody could come to their rescue. Well, it's even good Igbos are reacting this way, perhaps that may shield other minority tribes from future carnages. 32 Likes 2 Shares |

rapistbuhari: Very true, but I believe other tribes (Yorubas not included in anyway at all) need to work together with the igbos so that together we will prevent such incident from happening in the future. Did you watch the clips of the protest in London ? Mehn, I tell you Buhari match line big time. 22 Likes |

phreakabit: Well said. I believe the response given to Enugu incidence by the igbos is what jolted this lame duck administration to action. Also, something in me tells me that one reason why igbos reacted this way is because of deep seated animosity we have against the fulanis and also the fact that we share nothing in common with them. Unlike the Middle belters and the Yorubas who have plenty things in common with them: like being ruled by the same party APC, having majority Moslems (or maybe a 40% Moslem population), so basically other tribes wouldn't have had the courage to revolt like we did in Enugu. 35 Likes 2 Shares |

C'mon, the south east is on the verge of seceding from the federation. A perceived attack from any other tribe (especially from mutual enemies - Igbo and Hausa/Fulani) fuels the secession movement. No government wants to be blamed from breaking up the country. 32 Likes |

That is because there is practically no governor in Benue. That guy is totally useless. Wonder where Akume left his brain when propping the man up- Gime was the surest bet for us. Edit: I see the thread has been turned into another mandingo measuring contest. #walks out. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Igbo lives should not be taken for granted. That is a critical mass of highly skilled human resource. Besides, the level of response was not even as serious as it ought to be. 25 Likes 2 Shares |

The thing tire me oh.. upon say the scale of the Agatu Massacre was way higher than Nimbo. we shout tire, demonstrate go NASS, do every every, still the FG didn't do jack...Ortom actually went to Aso Rock early after the crisis, still not a statement from FG...indeed some Lives are more important than others. 12 Likes 1 Share |

IdomaLikita: Indeed I felt for you people. But this is the more reason why you people (most especially the xtians amongst you guys ) should cooperate with us to get back our fatherland, because Nigeria is not offering you anything. In our soon to be born country we will live in peace with each other and such thing can never be heard, all that will be heard is the voice of prosperity, peace and hardwork. You realize that an Igbo man is very diligent, hardworking and shrewd. We eschew bloodshed in any guise and also indolence. So please tell your people to open their eyes and support us. Also, while at it don't give-in to the numerous propaganda from the people of red zinc republic, you know them nah, except you're new here, well, they are those people from the dirtiest tribe in the world. omenka:... But Goons like you are partially part of the problem, with the way you try to stylishly exonerate Fulani's(I read the thread you created). Bros, ethnicity should come first before partisan politics. Buhari/APC be damnned if they cannot do anything to put an absolute end to the massacre and destruction the Fulani Maraduers wrought against my region. 27 Likes |

This is the only attack that the president had to talk. It happened in Mile 12, Agatu, Delta where a king was killed and it happens in NC everyday but no reactions from FG. You don't touch any igbo community and it's left not talked about. Yorubas will hide their own. Falaye was kidnapped and buhari never said a word. The life of one Igbo is worth more than thousands of other tribes. 42 Likes 1 Share |

1Tkester: Say no more, I am currently having this discussion with a tribesman who is afraid of our domination by the Igbos if we join Biafra, and I am telling him that I will rather affiliate with People who have proven themselves in all ramifications of progress than being ruled by degenerate fools who have contributed nothing but violence and Retrogression to humanity. I have lived for 10 yrs in the Core North and another 10yrs in the South East, and believe you me, the difference is clear. 58 Likes 10 Shares |

For two reasons. First, its been taken seriously by the SEners. Second, Buhari doesnt want their problem. I think he's had enough of their animosity before elections and after. 12 Likes 2 Shares |
