Surprizing thing is Farmers and the unemployed youth can not respond to this market signal and start farming, and make lots of Naira selling their produce.

Having said that, Buhari is an Ass~hole

Nigerians have been playing the "Blame Game" Since 1465.
If the market-woman decides to increase the price of her locally produced foodstuff and blame it on fuel scarcity and cost of dollar, dullards will still blame Buhari.
Even the goats have followed suit.

True talk bro, we are the one enslaving ourselves, can believe someone selling Banana when I was in OAU, was telling me that the increment in dollar rate is the reason why banana is now sold at such ridiculous price.

And yet we will be screaming the country is bad, out government are bad.

All these are basic human needs, they have never been affordable in Nigeria. Things like electricity should not go off for more than 5 minutes.

Nigeria is surely the only country in the world where an average earner spends 90 percent of their salary every month on basic amenities undecided.

Even a bowl of tomato that used to cost at most N900, fresh, big and juicy is now around 3500 and not looking good sef. The small pile we buy for N50 is even more than the one sold for N200 now. Even garri is N200- 250. And I'm sure they will even increase the price more by the time Ramadan comes nearer.
I don't know where we are going o

Cost of commodities are relative so if the prices of fuel increases, it increase the standard of living so you should expect increase in other commodities as well...
