One of these things is not like the others

-It is impossible to create a square with 3 sides. A square doesnt have 3 sides
-It is impossible to state the shape of purple. Purple has no shape
-It is impossible to create a square circle. A square cannot be a circle
-It is possible to make a rock that you can't carry. The rock just has to be heavier than your energy

You can see that your analogy is seriously faulty.

Any human being can make a rock that he or she can not carry. It must be heavier than their energy can handle. Square-circles and 3 sided squares are just ridiculous strawmen you put to derail the argument.

Nope I put square circles and 3 sided squares to show u how illogical questions look since it's seems u not familiar with them.

Lol Any human being can break his own arm, any human being can stop existing, that's the flaws of being a human being.

Asking "Can God created a stone so heavy that even he can't move " is logically incoherent. U can't put God's omnipotence against himself

God cannot do the logical impossible dear aka nonsensical logical absurdities.

You made two important statements

1) U can't put God's omnipotence against himself
2) God cannot do the logical impossible dear aka nonsensical logical absurdities.

Here is my reply to those statements

1) You are admitting that God's omnipotence can't look itself in the mirror. This means that it can't stand an unbiased reflection of itself. It can't live up to scrutiny. This is why I say that omnipotence is a self-refuting contradiction. It is impossible to be able to do everything.

2) You said that God cannot do the logically impossible. Creating a rock that you cannot carry is not logically impossible- it is a very easy task for a human being.

Omnipotent - Means almighty in power, it doesn't mean the ability to do anything.

It's one of the flaws of being human, I can also not exist, I can also kill myself. God doesn't have any flaws, he's the greatest possible being.

Are you indirectly admitting that there are things your almighty God cannot do?

I also hope that you realise that perfection too is a flaw? Not having any flaw is a flaw in itself?

No I'm admitting nothing, just telling like it is. Using God omnipotence against him is not logical.

Not having any flaw is a flaw in itself?

What?

God is a maximally great being, he possesses all qualities that are better to have aka great making properties. Flaws are not better to have, like for real it's called flaws for a reason.

Not having a flaw is a flaw in itself. It seems that you do not understand what a paradox is.

Imagine a perfectly smooth floor. It is perfect. Flawless. But it is also dangerous because it will likely be very slippery compared to one that is not as smooth.

A flaw, like a problem, can be a blessing in disguise.

==================

Your God's omnipotence is actually his greatest flaw. Killed by his own perfection. Too much of anything is bad. Your God has too much power which made him illogical.

Your God is sooo powerful that he can't kill himself. He knows so much that he can't be ignorant but if he can't be ignorant, he can't know the experience of being ignorant.

Am surprised that this argument is still going on here undecided
I just noticed that Kingebuka skipped this before he stopped talking, and you're following in his line again.
God can't do illogical things, only logical things
You're only using illogical for things you believe impossible..and your square analogy like others are just absurdities..How can you still call something with 3 sides a square? Find a name for it.

There's how I like answering some questions and this is what I told Kingebuka about that bolded above.
So God can only do logical things like killing the cannanites and co through the help of the Israelites and can't do illogical things like raining food=manna from the atmosphere

Is the above through?

Nah what's pathetic here is trying to change the topic to the Canaanites.

Omnipotence means almighty in power not God can do illogical things. I said quite clearly already God can only do what's logically coherent. Maybe it's more correct to say we can only understand God thru logic.

grin his laughing at u, u the idi0t who doesn't even know wats logically possible nd wats not.

Get urself a book on philosophy, look up possible world's, cuz asking " So God can only do logical things like killing the Amorites and co through the help of the Israelites and can't do illogical things like raining food=manna from the atmosphere" shows u ain't got a clue what is meant by logically possible or logically impossible.

U the idi0t who thinks the omnipotence paradox is a strong argument, grin there's not a single professional philosopher(atheist or theist) I know who uses it as a argument against the ontological argument, it's only layman like u who think it's powerful, in academia it's dead, a joke philosophers laugh at. Again, you are ignorant on what a paradox is. A paradox is a statement that contradicts itself but yet might be true.

Perfection is a paradox. Perfection means "no flaws" but then again, perfection itself can be a flaw.

A good example is a perfectly moral person (let's call him Mr. Godd). This Mr. Godd can not lie, cheat or steal. Imagine that there are Boko Haram killers at the door of Mr. Godd who is hiding christians in a secret compartment that no one can find. If the Boko Haram killers ask Mr. Godd if there are any christians in his house, Mr. Godd cannot lie. He will condemn the christians to their death with the truth.

If you were a christian hiding in Mr Godd's house, wouldnt you think that Mr. Godd's perfection is a flaw that would get you killed?

Too much of anything is bad. Perfection is too good to be good.

Your God is too powerful and that makes him conceptually illogical and evil. As we all know, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

We can see how your God used his powers to flood the world. How he burnt Sodom and Gomorrah.

Just look at the power you have over an ant- one false step and the ant is flattened. Power is dangerous.

The Nollywood version will be good for the film. At least the producers will be able to point and say "there, that's a movie worse than ours" angry grincheesy

Perfection is a paradox. Perfection means "no flaws" but then again, perfection itself can be a flaw.

U contradicting urself when u say, a being that has no flaws, has flaws since he has no flaws. It's again like taking about squares with 3 sides.

As I said : "Again Maximum greatest, perfection by definition means no flaws".

"God is a maximally great being, he possesses all qualities that are better to have aka great making properties. Flaws are not better to have, like for real it's called flaws for a reason".

I'm talking about a maximally great being, not perfection in one property, perfection in one property ain't maximal greatness.

JackBizzle:

A good example is a perfectly moral person (let's call him Mr. Godd). This Mr. Godd can not lie, cheat or steal. Too much of anything is bad. Perfection is too good to be good.

U see the problem is mr good has flaws
, he's not maximally great in all properties better to have. He's only perfectly good. He's not a maximally great being meaning by definition he has flaws and he does, he's not all-knowing nor is he all powerful.

If he was all powerful he could easily stop Boko haram, if he was omniscient he could easily stop Boko haram.

JackBizzle:

Your God is too powerful and that makes him conceptually illogical and evil. As we all know, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

How does being omnipotent make God evil and illogical? Also having power doesn't corrupt beings that has no flaws, it's only corrupts humans who have flaws like being greedy and power hungry.

JackBizzle:

We can see how your God used his powers to flood the world. How he burnt Sodom and Gomorrah.

Don't see how this has anything to do with the omnipotent paradox.

JackBizzle:

Just look at the power you have over an ant- one false step and the ant is flattened. Power is dangerous.

Yeah power can be dangerous, doesn't mean it's a flaw. All depends on how u use it.

JackBizzle:

At the end of the day, who God's omnipotence don epp? Who God don epp?

Nope the existence of God is so logical that his existence can be proved by logic alone.
