Are the Yorubas united as they oft claim?

1. If they are as united as they often claim, how come, Ilorin (formerly of Oyo empire and of Yoruba inhabitants) is now fully under the Sokoto Caliphate?

2. How about the intercine civil war in Yoruba land that lastedfor 16yrs which only ended after the Yorubas agreed to British colonialism?

3. How about Yoruba political unity? Is there such a thing? How come Akintola defected to the the default Northern People's Congress and the election violence that swept the entire western region pitching Akintola vs Awolowo? The so-called operation wetti?

4. The legacy of Yoruba political disunity still exists till this day with the SW recording the highest incidence of election violence and killings so much so that the region was nicknamed the "wild west".

5. If Yoruba unity exists then why does Ondo and Kwara voting patterns always differ from the rest of the region?

Simple questions requiring simple answers.

Thanks.

Don't mind them, they are proper asswipes. They just finished abusing themselves on their ND thread, accusing each other of being 'Yoloba'. cheesy That didn't satisfy them so they just had to open this thread to continue their foolishness and jack off some more. I tell you, at this rate a lot of them will start dropping dead pretty soon from Yoruba-I-itis -- Yoruba-hating kills faster than a bullet. grin Awon alakori gbogbo.

United in purpose, a concept difficult for a simpleton to grasp.

Ilosiwaju ile baba wa, be it APC or PDP, it's all to achieve the same goals. We'll drive over 60% of Nigeria’s economy and we'll keep attracting investors.

Which tribe has unity helped in nigeria? The more disunited yorubas are, the more progress they achieve.

How are sure the OP is Igbo? Are you saying only Igbos are indifferent to Yoruba's since the defeat of Jonathan. Have you thought about those whose son too was defeated. You guys should be smarter than this?

Are you new here bro? The OP has more than 200 monikers- desmondjuju, gtboy, backdatassup, antihmadi, bishopmagic, magicbishop and hundreds of different monikers. Heard he is a patient at yaba left and all his thread are his assignments at the hospital to test the level of his sanity.

DesmondJuju is not Igbo, take my word when I say he is Ijaw. I've known him for long in this forum and never have I seen him speak up for Igbo interest. But funny post honestly, you made me laugh at the mention of 'Yaba left' and 'assignments'.

Second question for all the descendants of shaitan

Why is it ok for Yorubas to claim omonile and go about commiting their extortion racket in Lagos but wrong for Niger Deltans to demand control of their oil resources?

If Chukwudi leaves Anambra for Lagos and buys Baba Ibeji's land from his errant son, Kumaru without his consent and then builds a mansion and also refuses to settle area boys from osun claiming omonile in Ajah, what do you think will happen to chukwudi's false claim to landed property in Lagos?

Will Baba Ibeji wait for a court's descion before using thugs to quit Chukwudi from his land?

I ask this because for some reason, the Yorubas see Niger Deltan oil as God's gift to all and not in any way to the benefit of the rightful landlords where the oil is drilled.

Just as Chukwudi wasted his money building on an illegally purchased land so also are the oil companies wasting all their investments in the Niger Delta since they never sought the permission of the rightful owners of that resource which they drill.

If you can promote Lagos land as Yoruba heritage and wealth why then is it so difficult to see the resources of the Niger Delta as the God given resources of the Niger delta people?

I await your reasonable response.

1. It's perfectly safe to conclude that the OP is not Yoruba or Hausa

2. ND people are not predisposed to hate mongering and bitterness and they don't post such tribal nonsense on the internet, they are proud and decent people with zero low self esteem and insecurities like the OP.

3. The fact that GEJ lost the last elections means little or nothing to his own Ijaw people and in fact, they have not only moved on, they've chastised their own GEJ on several occasions.

4. The only aggrieved people regarding the last elections and GEJ are ibo people and not Ijaw people.

So, the OP is definitely not from the SS, not Yoruba or Hausa, he's definitely ibo and only ibo people fixates on such stupidity and tribal nonsense..
