Sorry for bringing my wahala here again but i need advice before i take the wrong step. Here's the situation:

We live in a compound with just the landlord. We are very very close to them and we're like a family. They can eat in our house, we can eat in theirs. They have two kids, boys under the age of 3. The kids love playing with us a lot and sometimes they come over to our flat to watch cartoons becos of the kind of trust we have for ourselves.
But the problem is, the kids are unruly and stubborn. Once they step into our parlour, dey'll carry remote control and throw on the floor, carry my laptop and start pressing, pick anything they see, open the shelf and try to open my pregnacare, scatter biscuit all over the chair, climb chair and try to bring down our wedding photo frame.
Honestly, i'm not exagerrating but they can do all these under 15mins.
Their mum does not joke with her kids which is understandable and she hardly spanks them when they misbehave. She doesnt tolerate anybody disciplining them too so all i can do is shout for them to stop but they wont listen. If i drag them away to sit down, they'll start crying loudly as if i beat them and the mum might assume i did.
There was a day a mechanic came to our compound to work and he plugged his phone at our verandah. One of them picked up the phone and dipped it inside bucket of water. The mum just came and carried the boy inside. She didnt even bother asking the mechanic if the phone is still working. Unfortunately, the phone got damaged and he had to buy a new one.
My ish now is, the kids are stressing me. I don't have energy for all this. If they were my kids, i know how discipline them. Sometimes i lock up my house and pretend to be sleeping but she'll knock and tell me the kids are crying to come stay with me. Most times, i use pillow to block my tummy becos they will want to hit it.
I just don't know how to handle this without making her feel offended or putting a strain in our relationship.
She loves her kids to a fault which is understandable but she doesnt take me serious when i complain about them misbehaving. She'll just laugh it off and playfully tell the kids to not disturb me again.
I don tire!

Pls mamas who have kids and others who are experienced, i need your advice. Please!

I think it's better you start being firmer with them. Once they come in keep the remote control and any.misbehaviour send them to face the wall..let their mum.meet the crying at least it's not beat that you're beating them. If you form sleeping and their mom says they're crying for you tell her you'll come and fetch them once the sleep.clears from.your eyes.

Find a way of bringing up the mechanic's phone in front of their.mom make.sure she realises someone had to pay for the replacement.

I've also realised that in scenarios like this sooner or later the whole thing could fade out and you'll feel bad for all the bending backwards you did to accommodate them.

I guess it depends on d hospital. some are asked to submit ahead of time to avoid stories like borrowing of things when baby shows unexpectedly & bag isn't packed. My hospital doesn't ask for bags sha, u bring it as u are comin to deliver

Mitchyy, abeg form busy and tired till she gets the message. Preggy is enough stress u don't need any additional one. Anytime u feel like having them around. Spread a mat outside and stay with them there. When u are going inside, take them to their over protective mum. She is also using u to rest. Thats y she sends them over.

Abuja I expensive but it depends on the type of hanger you priced. I guess is those long Abi tall ones not the old style that you flip open and close.
If you really need cheap stuffs, you may need to go to maybe a local market and check people that sell baby things there, their prices will be more considerable than modern market/mall/plaza tins.

@ Evacroft, check federal staff hospital jabi/ Gwarimpa, National hospital depending on which side you are staying cos of distance in case of emergency.

I shared a story about how a toxic marriage landed my sister in a life and death situation and how we were hiding my sister's kidney tranplant from my parents.......well my mum has found out about it and has been in the hospital since Sunday. At exactly 37wks, scan showed that my cervix was firmly closed, nothing was happening down there n it gave EDD as 31st Oct (didn't rely on dt date though seeing as it Ws so late in my pregnancy) bt I Ws still thinking I might port to November cos all my scans gave btw 20th to 31st, only for me to give birth abt 24hrs later on 10th at 37w1day. So relax yr mind, u'll soon be missing all ds "u $ me" moments wt ur lo o, when u have him/her to urself it's well wt u dear, u'll soon share ur BS by God's grace.
