IF GEJ COMES BACK TODAY AND REMOVE SUBSIDY, PEOPLE WILL STILL PROTEST. ITS JUST ABOUT TRUST. WHO WILL TRUST A MAN WHO BELIEVED "STEALING IS NOT CORRUPTION"? WHO WILL TRUST AN INCOMPETENT,INEFFECTUAL BUFFON WHO WAITED MORE THAN TWO MONTHS AFTER BEING TOLD 300 OF HIS COMPATRIOTS GIRLS ARE KIDNAPPED BEFORE TAKING ACTION? WHO WILL TRUST A MAN WHOM UNDER HIS WATCH BILLIONS ARE SIPHONED,MONEY MENT FOR ARM FORCES, WHO WILL TRUST A MAN WHO DINE AND GAVE CONTRACTS WORTH BILLIONS TO A MILITANT TO PROTECT NIGERIAS WATERWAYS IN DIFFERENCE TO NIGERIAN NAVY? 4 Likes |

Occupy or not. The fact is that the economy will 'occupy' all of us as prices of goods and services are increasing. |

This is the number one reason for the suffering of the masses and its not too late for NLC to retrace its step . NLC is yet to ask State Governors what they did with bailout money meant for salaries. eg Osun, Ekiti, Bayelsa, Imo etc Many states are owing up to 5 months yet NLC is silence. Many states cannot pay common minimum wage yet NLC did not talk Since NLC makes billions of Naira from salary deductions and have invested in mass transit buses why cant they venture into importing and selling of petroleum product at a lower rate to Nigerians or build Mega stations ? Cant NLC also venture into building refineries ? What roles have NLC played in assisting the unemployed ? What role has NLC played to bring to parity diverse wage disparity between political office holders and the common man ? |

I am suprised I have not read that it is because Buhari hates the igbos, and that is the reason he removed the subsidy. According to them, all his actions so far is due to his hatred to igbos. 1 Like |

Wait ooo I don't understand. The VP and information minister have said that there was no subsidy removal but just an increase in price because of scarcity of forex and the country`s is broke. So I don't get why ppl are supporting subsidy removal when the govt has said otherwise. Secondly, I don't believe that for any reason whatsoever that the price of fuel shd be 145. Its unfair. Y must the ordinary man always be at the receiving end? If the country is broke, the first step is to cut down on excessive spending like the largesse that the legislators take home, unnecessary trips etc U increase electricity tarriff and there's no light and these power firms still charge exorbitant prices. I believe the govt is irrational and insensitive. Ps I supported buhari in the last election. 2 Likes |

MORNDEW: When I see posts like this I weep for the educational sector. @ OP You are simply yet another APC propagandist paid to misinform gullible Nigerians like you aka zombies. Ibe kachukwu came out clearly to state that no subsidy was removed only that the fuel price was recalculated based on 285 to $1 as against 199 before. Why are you coming out to spread this myopic and biased trash? To imagine calling yourself public affairs commentator. It is obvious you did not pass WAEC 3 Likes 1 Share |

LadyExcellency: And you didn't know that the election in the SW was landslide in favor of Jonathan. One of the reasons he won was because he had over 90% vote in the SW. So why the sudden hatred like you claimed. Maybe he did something wrong for them to hate him that much. And its not just the SW alone. What did he do wrong for. Nigerians to suddenly turn on him. I still. Remember the 2011 slogan everywhere in lagos. GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN - A BREATH OF FRESH AIR. 1 Like |

I still don't understand if subsidy was removed or just a price hike by the FG. Did anyone notice how public office holders prefer to use price hike instead of subsidy remover whenever they speak after the vice president said price hike was due to forex unavailability? I'm really confused with this Government. I wonder why Buhari has not made any public announcement to inform us what is really going on. |

MORNDEW: This is the stupidest and the most sufferhead- oriented piece of writing I've read this year Please Princewill or what do u call urself, keep ur foolishhh thoughts to urself. Do you know why most people are not fighting or protesting like before, People are tired That we are Tired doesn't mean we are happy about the present state of the country. Sorry to say but this new government has only made things even worse Mention that good thing that has happened since they started and mention that good that seems likely to happen People are just tired and they saw that they will still be the ones to suffer if they protest So don't start some stupidddd propaganda here and think ur idea is welcome 2 Likes 2 Shares |

binaflexia: The reason buhari has not made any public statement is because what happened is price hike. For goodness sake Nigerians should be wise! There is a saying that "once beaten twice .." In a few months time when you guys realise the truth and decide to hold PMB responsible, what you will be asked is to provide a video or any newspaper where Buhari said anything about subsidy removal, they will then begin to make reference to Osibanjo's statement. Do you really think Osibanjo would have made that statement if it was a lie? 1 Like |
